Amazing review. I had a question since you have both the little green and the revolution hydrosteam items... Would the little Green be able to clean an area rug as well or similar to the revolution given a bit more scrubbing? Im wondering If I need both, or if i can be fine with just the smaller one given my usage is mostly area rugs.
I just purchased one, used to clean car seats. The steam function seems to be spotty, cuts out frequently. Not sure if it’s a faulty unit or if that’s normal.
Missing: Is the steam hot? or is it a cool mist. I see a couple reviews that it's hot but a lot of comments that it's not. Did those folks not start with hot water? I don't know. If it gave nice hot water, I would buy it, but if it doesn't then there's no point.
Really disappointing that the newest top of the line Hydrosteam comes with smaller tanks, especially considering that you also use water for the steam function and will go through it quicker.
My guess is Bissell opted for lightweight over more function because if they had the larger "PRO" Size tanks, the Hydrosteam could weigh closer to 15 or 16 lbs.

Hi! The hydrosteam would be better suited for deep cleaning sofas because of how it injects the steam + solution. Test it first on a small area but microfiber should dry normally as long as you extract as much liquid as possible. The real benefit of the pro is its bigger tanks so you don't have to empty /fill it as often.
Is it? Let me check because I feel like there must be a good way to add wheels without adding too much weight. The auto rinsing tool is the Hydro rinse tool.
I'm incredibly disappointed. Went out to buy this right after watching this video to find out the clean solution / water tank is poorly designed. The fitting at the bottom is plastic and simply glued on. Well, mine wasn't fully sealed so it was leaking right out of the box. Can't take it apart since it's glued on hard. What were they thinking with this design? I need something that works reliably and unfortunately nothing fits that bill. I'm not convinced that even if I bought one that worked that it'd last.
The camera is not moving around, there is no background noise, you provide all of the facts without all the craps, and you speak clearly. Wonderful job. It is easily one of the best informative videos that I have ever seen.

Hi! It shouldnt burn anything like a carpet depending on the carpet material as steam adds water and would saturate the carpet first but it can definately burn skin, vinyl, and heat sensitive materials if you leave in on. I have used it for 15 minutes straight on one spot on my sofa, going back and forth and there was no burning.

Debating if I should get this or the full sized upright version? Is the hose high quality? I've owned a number of Bissell spot cleaners and the hose keeps cracking. Bissell says they can't do anything about it because the hose is integrated to the machine body so best they can do is give you a 20% discount off a future purchase. I saw on their website that they have a new little green cordless model which I'm considering because cordless is so convenient.

You can actually remove the hose with a screwdriver. And use the smaller multi surface tool for cleaning shoes. Good review.

i found that the steam doesn't really come out unless i use hot water, which isn't described in the instructions booklet. do you experience the same?

Hi! The steam will burn your skin on touch so definitely hot.
There is no cool mist action built in. It is high pressure steam.

It depends on your budget but if you have a baby, the hydrosteam has been better imho with getting out baby food from my carpet.
How come i only received one brush tool?
There's already wheels in the website but there out of stock . There also a automatic clean tool but idk how that would work .

Hi! It uses steam so if you are cleaning old organic messes or lots of oily messes, it will outperform the pet pro.
