Thank you, Ryan. I’ve seen some of the devastation in Erwin, TN. I had not seen Jonesborough, to my knowledge. I pray you are able to find Steve Cloyd.
Initially, your message irritated me greatly, wondering why you would question Ryan's knowledge so rudely. It truly got under my skin. Enough so I began a not so nice retort. Recognizing admonishing others in this manner rarely affects anything in a positive way. Have come back to say "Thank you", instead. Not for calling out to someone I've come to think highly of. But to share a realization. We are consumers of information gathered from all sorts of social media. It takes us near and far. Yet sometimes we are oblivious of what may be occuring in our own back yards, down the street, across town, the next county over, within our state, country and world. Particularly when we follow threads of specific interest. It's a reminder to keep our minds open beyond what our eyes see. I am in Kansas. Suspect very few have a well rounded idea of how far reaching the devastation of this natural disaster is. It is simply too complex to comprehend.
I been correcting folks on forgetting about the TN side that was devastated. Living here in Dandridge, I can tell you that they did lake cleanups if you're wondering why there's really not more debris in Douglas Lake.
I am a local. Those open fields are in fact just that...tomato fields. No houses were in that area. There is one house in the middle of the fields that has been there for as long as I can remember and you didn't show it. Google maps can verify this. Also I'm 99% certain that the Cloyd residence is still standing, flooded out but not washed away, according to local news interviews and video from his wife. Please do more research and avoid becoming one of those creators who just make videos to profit from this disaster.
So heartbreaking. Thank you Ryan, Adam and Jeremy.
So very sad to see all this devastation. It is surely overwhelming for those looking for the missing and trying to go forward. 😢
Thank you for sharing your journey 😊
Helene is still haunting me, being 30 miles away. It's so very heartbreaking 💔

That looks like the burial vault a casket is placed in.

Thank you for share. Makes me want to cry 😢
Adam and Jeremy/Nug! Is that box a crypt?
Wow, how Sad
Yes Tennessee got hit bad too!! How can you not know that?? I live way up in northern Indiana and I have known that wow.
Definitely knew it got hit, especially Erwin/Unicoi, just not how bad these other towns along the rivers got hit.
Mountain City and Erwin Tennessee was hit as hard or harder than NC. What matters is everyone needs help!

Have you tried adventures of purpose they use a sonar machine to see what's under water
I've been advised not to.
Had the already went down when the flood happened. And is this Jefferson or still Cocke County? 😮
I believe this part of Douglas Lake is in Jefferson County
I need to buy more tissues, for sure.
Was that a crypt
