There’s a lot of guitars tuition on RUclips and I jumped around quite a few untilI I found Lauren who has the clearest messaging that is delivered with empathy for a newbie.
You have to put the time in obviously but I’ve improved so much in just a week.

Hi Lauren! I can personally vouch for the idea that trusting your ear really works. A neighbor of mine invited me over to his house one time and told me to bring my guitar. Quite honestly, I panicked because I'm not really skilled enough to be able to perform. What he did turned out to be a fantastic learning experience for me. He played about ten songs (the original recordings) for me and asked me to play along to the best of my ability. I had never heard most of them before but he encouraged me to find the melodies just by "feeling" how the notes were going (in other words, training my ear). By about the third song, I found -- much to my amazement -- that I was actually able to do it!

It's a huge sense of accomplishment when you are actually able ( through muscle memory) to switch between cords smoothly and not look..
And dropping in a new chord.. "practice practice practice"
I have found that to be so fulfilling....
    Thanks Teach... 🍎

Started the finger pushups 4 days ago and its been the biggest help already. I see significant improvements in forming chord shapes and switching between them while playing. Its been so useful i've made it a part of my daily warmup and intend to keep it that way.

In just two weeks of doing the exercises and chord videos my playing has improved a lot and I always try to fit playing time into my busy day so I can improve even more. This was helpful. Could you do a lesson on stunning and singing at the same time? I find one or the other is compromised. Thank in advance.
