The AC3 opening is not just my favorite intro sequence in the series, but one of my favorite ones in gaming period. I'll always be nostalgic for Haytham looking over the horizon to the new world.
I really appreciate channels like this. I've found many AC content creators to be overly-negative or obnoxious so it's nice to have this channel as a chill little alternative
Origins doesn't drop the title when Bayek leaves the cave. It drops the title after he leaves Siwa and is on his way to find Aya. In my opinion it's either hype or nailed it. The other one I'd change from your ranking is putting Unity in nailed it. It is really good, but not at the level of AC2 and 3; and Odyssey to good enough, I don't think it's nailed it level
Actually really enjoy ranking all these different facets of the franchise. It may sound weird, but I’d genuinely love to see a ranking of the Animus UI + memory corridors. I feel like these go part and parcel with each game!
1 and Revelations were pointless, the cinematic trailers are excellent don’t get me wrong but it doesn’t replace the title card AC2 is perfect, no notes, the characters have been wonderfully introduced, Florence at night is stunning, and the music is so iconic it has literally become the theme for the franchise as whole Brotherhood is fine, part of me does think it would have been better to see after the villa attack, the cutscene of a wounded Ezio alone on the road to Rome in the distance (the broken coliseum?) to emphasise the themes of the game before giving us the title showing Ezio needs his allies 3 is the perfect placement for the title drop, Haytham looking at the new world of Boston as the franchise enters a new era, sublime Black Flag is fine, it probably would have been better to have once Edward got the Jackdaw but by that point we’re so far into the game it would feel weird so maybe they could have done that as a flash forward explained as an animus glitch then go back to Havana to show how he gets the ship, I suppose compared to some of the RPG games the placement after the Jackdaw wouldn’t be too long, the actual placement is just not the best fit Unity is perfect, it creates the setting and sets up the characters excellently and the music is so underrated Syndicate is fine, I don’t really know where else you would do it, maybe after arriving in London but I like that we see the characters on a train which is a main part of the game and see the landmarks and smoke in the background Origins, love your idea that would have been amazing but as it is it’s fine Odyssey, this is actually pretty great, I think this is the worst game in the franchise but the title drop is one thing I can’t fault Valhalla, the second worst game in the franchise and yet the title drop is actually really well placed, same as Odyssey really Mirage, it’s fine, Like you I also like the mirage styling, that’s about it though
the openiang sequence you shared for mirage wasnt its opening sequence its opening sequence is when basim dives from the tower when him and roshan are escaping the guards and he does that kingdom hearts dive in the water end up somewhere else trope it was fucking gas
That origins placement should be illegal. The context and everything leading up to it was so good. Also liked black flag, but that could just be because of the music lol
Revelation’s intro is by the far the best in the series (With AC 2). The letter to Claudia in the background is a perfect set up for the story. I disagree that the intro should always be placed once you’ve been introduced to the game; especially in sequels it makes sense to sometimes just introduce the set up with the intro.
In my opinion Ac revelations title/cinematic intro is the best, with the speech and fight...and when Ezio is about to be hanged, right next to where Altair took his "first" leap of faith it's just, that title doesn't let the goosebumps go away. "My story is one of many, and the world will not suffer, if it ends too soon" Just too good Ac odyssey is good, because the Ezio theme and with the plot twist before it, it's the second for me The third is Ac mirage for me, because of the music (Yes, i know i left out Ac2 title intro, i think i would put it in the 1st and half spot)
Hot take, ezio's family will always be ezio's family, not the assassins creed theme. Odyssey loses points for that And ik a lot of ppl love ac2's title drop, but it just meant so little to me. Ik the music was awesome and their lines foreshadowed the deaths that comes literally in the next 20 min, but it felt forced onto me Unity's "impossible is the purview of every assassin boy" line and Arno being forced to jump is far superior in my eyes
@@dankim7831 I can see why they keep coming back to it, but I definitely agree. 3 and Black Flag showed us how we could keep getting cool and unique main themes matching the games and characters themselves but then they went back to Ezio’s Family starting with Rogue even though it didn’t really make much sense there.
@@willismakesmovies rogues are really good too!! God the assassin hunter!! 😍 but for me they’re better in mirage! Yes the Abbasid knight! Basims master robes! I even love the scholar outfit and the eunuch tunic with the pointy shoes!! 🥰🥰

It's so fucking hype man
Agreed.

Even tho it is a trailer, Revelations has the best intro in the whole franchise because of the incredible writing in it!
AC3 too is hard to beat tho
Thanks!
The title effect of assassin’s creed mirage is incredible because it kind of foreshadows who Nehal is without telling us

"Assassin's Creed games begin"
Yep
After ranking all the individual aspects, how about tallying them to rank the whole games?

AC2 - CHARACTER
AC UNITY - IMMERSION
I bet the next outfits ranking is Mirage bcs it has less outfits than the rpgs
@@sizeable-cult3169 Good guess but not quite ;)

1. Mirage
2. AC2
3. Valhalla
4. Black Flag
5. AC3
6. Syndicate
7. Origins
8. Unity
9. Odyssey
10. Rogue
