The legit only reason I think maybe it’s not is the sheer amount of fucking tailing missions. That’s easily the worst thing in the game and makes me go I’m not sure whereas without em I’d be like by far black flag

@@alarrim29574I came here to comment the same thing. Any time I want to roll up a new playthrough of Black Flag, I end up stopping after a while due to the sheer number of tailing missions. Give me a cutscene any day of the week over slowly folowing NPCs for minutes on end while they spout exposition.

Assassin's Creed II is the most replayable for me. I've finished it before and then immediately started a new game. Also, it's pretty easy to get the Codex Pages as long as you get them as the story progresses. Make sure to synchronize all of the viewpoints to clear up the map and you will not miss them. I would spend so much time just testing out Ezio's jumping capabilities. I've jumped from very high places that would have dislocated Ezio's arms in real life. Most of my deaths in the stats are from me just jumping to my death. It's difficult to die in combat in ACII. Lol

For me, it's AC Odyssey. I can't fully explain why, but it's become my "comfort game". I can replay the game over and over and still find stuff to do. There is just so much about it that keeps me coming back to it. I do think part of it is the amount of choice (even if it ultimately doesn't matter). I can do subtle things to make each play different, or different enough, to not make it boring.
Also, I still cannot fathom why AC Valhalla didn't get a NG+. I don't understand why it couldn't have. Even Mirage got one. I might replay Valhalla if there was the option, but I'm not about to go back and start from the beginning again.

The mercenary system also adds replay value to Odyssey because being randomly generated for the most part you’re not facing the same line up of enemies who are out to kill you, and they can appear all over the map. Add in the option to kill sponsors of these mercenaries and you have an ongoing randomised experience that happens across the whole game.

Rouge is the most replayable imo. I think its the American trilogy perfected. It's short. It doesn't have as many god awful tailing missions as Black Flag and it doesn't have the incredibly long intro and hand holding that holds 3 back. You've got the awesome combat and a decent amount to explore. Its quick,it's got a decent story and it's got some of the coolest outfits.
Still think Shay should have left the Templars at the end of it though. Maybe founded a third party trying to end the war and prioritise innocent lives. However I think that feeds into your point about the narrative being abit undercooked.

In my opinion, it's Mirage. I love the pacing of the game to get to the point of being an assassin, while properly developing the story at once and then you can go anywhere you want already, parkour around the city of Baghdad with what I believe to be the best parkour mechanics when you fix the default controls to your liking, and overall fun stealth and combat. Yes, the combat is simple in concept but I like how it actually challenges you rather than the enemies always being slower than you are and it rarely ever glitches with it. New Game+, the Full Synchronization Challenge, and the Parkour updates made this game so much more replayable.

For my the most replayable was Odyssey mainly because the new game plus worked so well in that scenario, you get to keep all your stuff, you are no longer level locked out of regions opening up a different direction, you can make different choices and when you completed a legendary armor set again it automatically levels up to your current level which is great for playing around with armor sets you skipped the first time and you can pick a different play style. I've played all of them more than once but Black Flag and Origins also stand out as worth a replay ,,,, or 2 (I play Black Flag every couple of years since 2013)
I have replayed Valhalla after I got the season pass for 10 bucks but cripes by the time I finished the main stories I was so burned out on it I still haven't touched the two DLCs, never done a raid mission and have zero interest in their roguelike add-on (especially with the way the game is crash prone which is the worst for a roguelike)

This list is probably so close to mine, I’m so surprised. I swear I thought I was the only one who liked playing through AC3, and have replayed it multiple times. AC Odyssey is a no brainer too with its multiple endings and choices and builds. AC Brotherhood is a classic AC experience where combat and stealth are fun, along with the old parkour system. It’s also not that long. And then AC Mirage has replay ability in mind, with the permadeath mode and new game plus, it’s so great. And then Unity being just behind those games, the stealth and parkour are always fun, but some Unity jank can easily just ruin the vibe, but when you’re in a flow it’s great.

I heard one of the funniest crowd reactions that I’ve ever heard in a video game in Syndicate. Doing a mission where a funeral was being held, the people were crowding d I couldn’t get through so I shot my gun in the air and after scattering like roaches with the light on some guy yells out “Never saw a more clearer sign to fuck off!” 😂😂😂
Had to edit this to say I missed playing Unity 10 years ago because mostly of the bad stuff I was hearing about the game but I just started playing it a few days ago and got it dirt cheap and also bought any add-ons and DLC’s possible and those were not pricey at all. I am so glad I did because not for nothing but I am having a BALL playing this game! It’s really making me miss the old, real Assassins Creed games. Especially playing Unity after replaying Valhalla for a week (was only doing that because I thought they were having the Yuletide festival but sadly, they are not. Why? Because Ubisoft.)
