Stunning job. You really inspired me to rebuild a Porsche 911 Turbo. Still have the Revell kit I built nearly 30 years ago. Just purchased this and can't wait to start on my build.
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Sorry. That should be "without polishing". I am always left with having to sand and polish the final clearcoat with micromesh cloths and fine polishing compounds to get a decent shine.
Sweet build. The engine was butter and oh so satisfying to watch. I recently built a 2018 Ford GT (Tamiya) and I did screw up plenty of times but my main goal was to learn to polish the finish to a mirror look. I'm happy to report it came out fantastic. I've since abandoned the project because the mistakes were not to my satisfaction but I learned a lot from the build. Your builds teach me a lot too! Subbed and belled!
Great work! The matte black vinyls you left out on the side are indeed from factory and are there to protect the fenders from stone chips, without them the fenders get messed up and have stone chips every after a very short time. ;)
Love your videos! This one has inspired me to replicate my own classic. Do you know where a Porsche 924 kit can be found -preferably non turbo?? i've hunted for a bit and cannot find any stockist. Keep making the video's. love them.
6:03 OMG! No ceiling upholstery?! Cant believe that you didn't do that...disappointing... Just joking man, you are insane, I dont believe that any Zen monk would have this much patience as you have! I am amazed with your work, I never personally assembled any scale model but watching you doing it is so satisfying :D I watched the Porshe build from the beginning all 4 parts. Good job, continue with amazing content!
Hi there, I have a question regarding the paintwork. Do I still have to polish the paint by using polishing compound after spraying the clear coat? Thanks!
Could you think about possibly doing a F1 car please? I'm currently building the Williams FW14B and I'd love to see what you could do with an F1 car and maybe pick up some tips along the way. Obviously it's up to you as I don't know if F1 cars are something you like doing but I'd love to see you do one and I love watching your videos :)
There's something I don't understand...after all the fantastic work on the engine and decaling the engine bay, you cover it up everything?? I mean, what's the point if all that work will be unseen?
I was watching this until I discovered it was narrated. Is it me or does narration ruin videos of people making things? I like to zone out watching people make stuff... Narration ruins it for me.

Absolutely awesome 1985 Porsche 930 911 Turbo build !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The engine was a model in itself! You're really helping me improve my skills with your technique. Thanks man.
That’s an incredible finish on the gloss black!!
That is a beautiful build!
Amazed at how smooth you got the paint finish with polishing. Beautiful work
Polishing?

Some nice details on the body of this kit as well...
Another great build. You'd have to be a die cast snob to dislike this video. Keep them coming and thanks for sharing.
Sharp looking build!!.. You always outdo yourself!
Amazing work.
I don't have any patience for this, 10 minutes into this, I would chucking this model against the wall.
Great Job ..nice kt..good color ....excellent video !
Fabulous job, one of my all time favorite automobiles!
GORGEOUS Work and Amazing Finish..🤗🤗
I really like models with steerable wheels... they're a challenge and when accomplished... very very cool.
Me too....
Nice job on the small details too.. Makes a difference in the model's final appearance..
This looks amazing! Looks like a super detailed kit too, I don't think I've ever seen a kit with detailed wheel rotors like that.
As far as i am aware. Its only on the fujimi enthousiast kits
Nice job shining this body up... I 💘 it!
Beautiful build buddy, looks awesome.
Really nice work through all stages and all cars you made. Thumb up.
Great work as always, well done 👍
Thanks for pushing the value of my Fujimi kits!
I love the old G-Model 911 with the big rubber bumpers, well done mate
Master Class.... nothing less....

Fantastic finish! I built the Revell version of this last year and had to paint the "shark fins" as I ruined the decals trying to put them on.
You rocked that one.
More than perfect. Wow
Agreed......
Beautiful

Cracking build
You are truly a talented builder, that Fujimi looks like it should be at the local Rennsport shop
Sharp build bro

How do you keep such a steady Hand?
Hi! How you cleaned all the fingerprints from the body? Thanks!
Micro fiber towel

What metal foil you used?
Great job Beatuful car i tried to spray zp-1020 in a clean airbrush at 1 bar no cap on but it dried real fast and splatter what can the problem be
I don’t know

Hi there, I have a question regarding the paintwork.
Do I still have to polish the paint by using polishing compound after spraying the clear coat?
Thanks!
Only if the finish is not to your standards
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Thanks!
Do you always paint with the cap removed from the tip of the airbrush? What’s the reasoning for this? I’m trying to improve my airbrush skills...
Yes. Otherwise some paint builds up on the edge, and starts splattering
Your masking of the wheels looked very time consuming but effective, is there a trick to it ie cut many pieces of masking tape?
I believe that is how i did it. But honestly can’t remember what or how i did it back then.
Do you have to thin the zero paint for airbrushing, if so how do you think it?
It is thinned already
Woow show my friend like
Didn’t you polished the car ? It’s looks great btw
Pls respond
I did not polish the car, i sanded the clear smooth, and recleared it.
Finish product was great
Wow
Where do you get that tape from
Links are in the description
Looks like a we'll detailed chassis on this kit just like the engine is...
Well.. Typo..

I have a couple i still need to do, and some i still want to do. Maybe when those are all done ill give an f1 car another go
@@TheScalemodelingChannel awesome, can't wait for new videos :)
This is basically Blackbird from Wangan Midnight...
yeah, because that basically was a black on black 930 turbo
the porsche logo on tail light could have been better
You mentioned customer for you do this for a living? I rather pay you to me some models for me mlk thanks
My nigga this shit is FRESH
