    Another great video. I'm gonna start a channel on building with a brain injury hand tremor. You've inspired me! It's like Ozzy Osbourne who got into music because of The Beatles. I"m not as far gone as old Ozzy - and I'm sure Ozzy couldn't tell a panel line from a Les Paul vintage 6 string, but what the hell.

    This is fantastic! As a veteran Porsche mechanic and aspiring model builder, I cannot imagine a more perfect time to discover your channel! I'm so excited to follow this build. I will say though, I'll be disappointed if you do not file off some of the details on the bottom of the engine case, as the casting for the case appears to resemble a much earlier 911 engine with the extra ribs, and the round oil sump plate, as opposed to the smooth bottom case with horizontal drain plug that the later 911/930 came with. But I imagine you have already made plans to address this. I can't wait to follow along! Liked and subscribed!

    I absolutely LOVE this guy videos, the mic noise is very well canceled and the sound sounds extremely great! The brightness of the video is also excellent, very entertaining, no boring, no unnecessary content, absolutely good RUclipsr! The only sad thing is that the videos are divided in parts, and every time I watch one part I got anxiety because I want to watch the next episodes and I need to wait, this gives me so much anxiety that I lost my breath on this video, when you're gonna upload next part? I'm getting nervous for some reason, your videos had helped me in so many different ways to relax and run away from depression and anxiety but sometimes I just can't handle it! Please update soon and do not stop your job! Love love love your editing and your content man. Cheers

    Scribing and then using filler primer? You don’t need primer on plastic. I’ve used it a few times and the finished model looses some detail. 10 min dry between coats doesn’t allow the paint to blend with the next coat, I use 5 max.

      roow420, Chris... thanks. By 1992-1993 I was single, earned good money and acquired some high-end models for the standard of my country (Mexico): fujimi, tamiya, hasewaga, including several Enthusiasts. With little experience and a lot of youth I decided to start with a 911 targa (number 37 of the series) and it was a real nightmare. I mean, 60+ parts for the transmission engine train only, adjustment tests after adjustment tests after adjustment test. I gave up. I continued with the F1 1/20 of Tamiya, some easy revell and AMT. After 30 years, they have survived a marriage, several movings, financial crises and several times outside the hobby. They are waiting for the right moment.

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel

      Its called a re-coat window. Within this time you can paint over the layer from before. After this time it will cure to much. And the new layer will cure at a different rate wich can cause problems like cracking and or adhesion between the layers

    • @911wasindeedafalseflag
      @911wasindeedafalseflag 4 года назад

      hrapek I don’t think he was necessarily polishing it. There was just some dust that got caught up in the paint and he wanted to sand it down to repaint the clear and get it smooth again. Usually the zero paints stuff it’s smooth and shiny just with clear coat and no polish. Unless dust settles on the paint somehow, just clear coat alone will do a nice job

    Hello, I’ve been enjoying your modeling and have a couple of questions. I’ve seen you scribing panel lines many times and want to buy a scribe. I was wondering what would be the best width to start out with, .15, .2, etc..., and what shape (V or Square Groove)? Also as for panel lining, have you ever tried just darkening the main color and then using that to create a wash? I’ve seem others comment on black and they say it creates to much of a contract on say a red body. Anyway, I REALLY enjoy your work and look forward to watching all your builds. Thanks!!

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel

      1. 0,2mm

      3. That would not work with zero paints as that is airbrush only paint.

    Great video - thank you. I'm still learning the Zero primer - sometimes get a slightly rough texture, as if droplets are drying before they can settle smooth. Same airbrush (0.4mm nozzle), no additional thinners, 20 PSI and holding the airbrush about 10cm from the model. Have you come across this or do you have any ideas how to make the primer smoother?

    • @sweenep86
