Just in time!!! I'm just starting my handmade gifts for Christmas! ❤ U Denise!!!

Thank you Denise. This is such an interesting pattern. It would be awesome as a scarf, and both sides of the pattern look great.
Yes - infact I love that they are soooOOOo different. I'm glad you like it too 🙂
Thank you for helping me relaern my love project for the calmly mind
This is very pretty! Thank you for the tutorial! Very easy to follow! Kitty cat stitch markers are very cute! Really like mine!
Thank YOU 😊
Can’t wait to try this for a headband.
Denise - your videos are amazing!! I'm going to be buying a bunch of your patterns when my next paycheck comes, but for now - I commented a few weeks ago about trying your easy hat, and I did it! My first one wasn't perfect, but the ones after that - still following your pattern and video - were. Now I'm making a patchwork cardigan/granny cardigan for a friend for Christmas and I've got a few other ideas I'm planning on making, and it's all thanks to you. And the granny square cardigan I've been using a ton of your different stitches, both so I can get used to doing things, but also just to add different textures. Thank you so much for your amazing videos!!!
Mackenzie - I love love love that idea for so many reasons. I know it's going to be beautiful. I'm super happy my videos are helpful. Thank you for taking the time to give me soooOOOo much awesome feedback. I really appreciate it !
I agree--very cool to have the two sides look differently! Will make a scarf for sure!
Super glad you like it !
Thank you so much for all your easy to follow brilliant tutorials. I'm going to use this stitch pattern for some leg warmers. *****Have a beautiful Christmas ******
Absolutely beautiful pattern and incredible instructions! Thank you!
Thank YOU !!!
Looks AMAZING!! I can’t wait to use this pattern myself. 😊
It would be nice to make it easy for beginners ^^
Love the pattern - definitely shared!!!!❤
Thank YOU Donna !!! 💛
Awesome 😎 Thanks Denise 🍁
Love this! Next project
Would u be able to show us how to loom knit a solid ball without any puckering or holes at the end for making amigurumi dolls. I like how clear your instructions are you make everything look easy.
Could I use this stitch on a larger project, like a blanket? Or might the pattern not show up as well?
It would be beautiful. This stitch doesn't curl and it looks great on both sides. I would add a border because it is a type of rib and contracts.
@@LoomaHatcould you do this on a s loom and would it work with sidar snuggly yarn
@@LoomaHatcould you use all the pegs to make a blanket
Thanks a lots love this patern 😀
You’re welcome 😊
Very cool!! Eager to try this pattern. Thank you!!
You’re welcome 😊💛
This is BEAUTIFUL
Thank YOU Lisa !!!!
Love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️ 😍 love this. Thanks for shearing
Thank You Jodie - you're always so supportive and I want you to know that I really appreciate you 💛😘🌻
So this blanket is reversable 🌷❤️
If you like both sides - I say YES 👍🏽🙂
Absolutely beautiful! For a newbie would you recommend a crochet cast on to make a scarf? I don't have the skill set to take a stitch and make my own project, yet. I love how you address how different people learn. I trained as a teacher, so I can say that that is very beneficial. Can you suggest any project patterns or videos that you have for scarves, cowls, or hats that use only a single strand of worsted weight yarn. I have several skeins of yarn that I would love to use, but I don't want to/can't double them. I am beginning to think that projects using only a single strand of worsted weight Yarns are the unicorns of loom knitting. I'm beginning to wonder if they exist! LOL I have asked in several groups that I belong to but no one can point me to a pattern or project. Thanks!
Beautiful pattern ❤️
Many many thanks 💛
This is beautiful!! Thanks so much💞
You are so welcome!!! 💛
Love, love your stitch patterns, but as a beginner, I'd live to know which or how to cast on and off on these stitch patterns.
Hi Mary, keep in mind that the way you start depends on the project. For example, some hats start with a rib stitch but most blankets don’t. Wouldn’t make sense to show you a cast on that’s not going to work for your project.
I have used this pattern for a hat. I have some advice. So i used a 36 peg loom because I didn’t have a 42. A 36 peg loom is a tight fit for me and 40 in general is loose. I finished the hat but my head stretched the pattern too much and it only looks like the pattern off. I have since purchased some flexee looms and am going to try again. I love this pattern. I wanted the cable look or a pattern like honeycomb but don’t have the patience right now to try. Thank you for the lovely design Denise.
Thank you for pointing that out. I should have said that in the video - Yes this fabric needs to be loose for you to appreciate the curves. They sort of go away if you stretch it too much.
Any advice for avoiding arthritis and carpal tunnel for loom knitting?
When I’m off camera and I’m knitting a large project I use a hand sleeve amzn.to/3DjjtFY
Can you please mention the peg numbers you've used here?
However, in the square pattern on my 31 pegs, I varied your pattern to get a square. And it was like K1-P7-K1 throughout one row and repeat once (which is its 2Rows)
Then, I made a variation of K1-P2-K3-P2-K1 throughout a single row, then repeat (4rows), this yielded me a square!
It was pretty enjoyable experience until the pattern for reflected.😊
Thank you for sharing 🙂i love this pattern ❤, very beautiful. And something tell me, that you like cats, like me 🙂
Thank you! 😊 I do I do LOVE cats 💛 but my kitty died earlier this year. I was sitting my daughters cats while she was in school - but they've gone home so no kitties at the the moment.
@@LoomaHat oh i feel sorry for you i know what it is like to lose a cat i have one still with me (Gary a Ragdoll) but i cried a lot when Chipie and Horson were dead , they are still a little with us however because we think a lot about them
Love it!
Thanks!! 💛
Dang, this shows it was uploaded today and it already has 495 views? I just got up 2 hours ago and it's Sunday, catching Church via RUclips due to illness and saw a new video by Denise ... guess I'm late to the party lol. Georgina, she started many of us in Loom knitting, she creates some of the best patterns on You Tube and Patreon
Love you Lani !!!! 😘
Thanks!
Thank YOU for the thanks 😊💛🌼
Fabulous!!
Thank U!!!
Could you use this on a rectangle flat loom?
Yes - any pattern that you knit flat, back and forth you can use any flat loom
I wish I could figure out what's happening, but when I'm doing one row of purl, one of knit, or really any pattern, when I'm at the point of making a new row, when it's finished, it's like a lighter bigger, so you can see when the hats done, where that new row started from if that makes sense lol. Like I never miss a leg or anything. It's very weird, and it's been on every hat so far.
I love that there is a totally different patterns on each side. I bought the pattern but havent started yet. Will the one in the round be reversible?
It Jennifer- no, the in the round version will look like the flat.
Having trouble with my loom…for row 1 it’s k2, p4 and row 2 is p4, k2. Should my knits and pearls be lining up with one another or staggered?
It should look like a basket weave not a rib. Make sure to watch the video completely cus this one is easy but tricky on the loom.
[Please excuse my english]
Hello Denise, thank you for your videos
Could you please make a video on how to fix projects (in my case, a cowl) that we already dismounted from loom but it is too lose?
I watched your video on how to do a stretch finish, but unfortunately i did when my work was already dismounted from loom, with a basic stitch that risulted too lose
I wonder if there is a way to fix it
Thanks 💝
Hi Trixie, You can try to use a crochet hook to fix it - maybe this video can help you ruclips.net/video/JXyz2gfdgvw/видео.html
@@LoomaHat thank you!
Hi Denise, can you make a blanket using one strand of yarn. Or can you double the yarn up?
Hi ! I worked on this pattern for one of my Patreon patrons specifically for a blanket. As far as using two strands I'm not sure that the stitch will be as defined or noticeable. I recommend knitting a swatch first. ruclips.net/video/FNh6akHwC-M/видео.html
Can I use this stitch on the rectangular loom for a blanket
Yes - I do recommend a thick border.
Can I stretch out the stitches after I take it off the rectangular loom or do I need to stretch the stitches while it is still on the loom
I have a hole in the middle of my scarf how can I fix it?
Hi Carol ! First I’m glad you’re asking how to fix it and not undoing all your work. I’m proud of you. 😊 Okay- so to fix the hole, thread a yarn needle with a strand of the same yarn you knitted the project. Then using the stitches around the whole, LOOSELY sew upwards from the bottom of the hole. Remember to weave in the strand of yarn. Cut the excess.
Would this work with knitting needles
Yes - but keep in mind that loom knitters are always knitting on the right side so you would need to translate the pattern when you turn and your fabric is on the wrong side.
What gauge is your loom? I have 3/8in and 5/8in and didn't know which to use. Thank you!
I’m using 5/8
Which looms do you recommend?
H0w sh0uld i cast 0n please help
Here's a video ruclips.net/video/YWjS77zVdaw/видео.html
Love this pattern! In the written pattern it calls for 6+2 stitch pattern. Is the +2 an edge?
Yes, it is! Those 2 extra stitches help to "balance and even out " the look of the fabric. So that both edges look the same. Hope that makes sense.
Yeah - doing this for the conventional knitters. I'm going to start adding it to all the stitch patterns. I perfer the simple version because I worry that it can be confusing. It was for me for so many years - I didn't want to do that to my folks but sometimes I get asked for it so trying to serve everybody as much as I can.
How wide is it on that loom?
I want to use this pattern to make a scarf. Now I just need to find the time😅
😀 I can sooOOOo relate !!!
would this be good for a baby blanket?
It would need a good border- keep in mind that it is does contract a bit.
Cam this pattern be made with a hat?
Is this video supposed to be on unlisted… or is it a secret 🤫
Anyways, beautiful pattern! I just got some yarn this weekend, working this stitch up right now!
It’s unlisted - my Patreon patrons get the pattern and video links early www.Patreon.com/Loomahat
@@Soariewhispers Yes I'm aware because it's not private - instead it is unlisted.
Could you send me the name of your page store please
Thank you for asking loomahat.store
This "simple"pattern is driving me ape crazy.
Linda, the stitch pattern itself is simple. It’s basically just a Basketweave stitch made of only knits and purls - but it become complex if used within a difficult project pattern. Or when free styling without understanding the concept of pattern design. Stitch patterns are not a good fit for everyone. For some ppl it’s best to use complete project patterns that include cast on - stitch and row count and end with a cast off.
Very confusing need more explanation while looming
The pattern is only knits and purls I don’t understand how that can be confusing unless you’re confused about the pattern being only a stitch pattern and not a project.
By the way, you should always watch a video completely first before you start knitting. Also, because it’s a stitch pattern and not a complete project, the is not meant to be used as a knit-along but instead it’s more of a pattern with basic demonstrations.
