Durin was just wanted to play and dance together with the bard and dragon of Mondstadt. He was a gentle soul too. He was just like a little kid begging his mom to visit disneyland (Mondstadt). He didn't hold a grudge againts Dvalin and Barbatos who killed him. As if someone brainwashed him to wreak havoc in Mondstadt

It's crazy to look at his skeleton because you can tell he's several times larger than even Dvalin. One of the things that makes Dragonspine one of my favorite places (at least from a visual and lore standpoint 👀)
Also, when Dvalin was fighting Durin, The knights of favonius charged into the Abyss to stop the further spread of the monsters. they had 2 commanders out of which, one died and the other lost hope. That's when Barbaros Awakened to help his people. This also where the white knight turned into the Blood stained knight and died fighting the monsters. idk the exact chronology whether these 2 events happened at the same time or not but i absolutely love the lore, how deep and creepy it is.
and this is when i fell in love with the game. Getting albedo on his first banner, experiencing the story told here and traversing the area for 12+ hours straight days before christmas will forever be engraved in my mind and heart. As tragic a story as it is dragonspine always seems to pique my interest
dragonspine is severely unappreciated because of the sheer cold mechanic, despite it having some of the best music, unique visuals and lore tbh i enjoyed freezing to death when i first explored as a low ar player with my lvl 40 traveler- it made dragonspine feel like an interesting, new area as well as a challenge since it was actually dangerous
That’s actually so fucking sad. The dragon didn’t know the terror it was causing and just wanted friends, even while dying to those he wanted to befriend, he never blamed them and wished for a positive outcome.
It's so painful when a very innocent character realises they've done something wrong and accepts their horrible fate without hating the ones who gave it to them. I'm crying over Durin again ahhaha.

Also, when Dvalin was fighting Durin, The knights of favonius charged into the Abyss to stop the further spread of the monsters. they had 2 commanders out of which, one died and the other lost hope. That's when Barbaros Awakened to help his people. This also where the white knight turned into the Blood stained knight and died fighting the monsters.
idk the exact chronology whether these 2 events happened at the same time or not but i absolutely love the lore, how deep and creepy it is.

and this is when i fell in love with the game. Getting albedo on his first banner, experiencing the story told here and traversing the area for 12+ hours straight days before christmas will forever be engraved in my mind and heart. As tragic a story as it is dragonspine always seems to pique my interest
dragonspine is severely unappreciated because of the sheer cold mechanic, despite it having some of the best music, unique visuals and lore
tbh i enjoyed freezing to death when i first explored as a low ar player with my lvl 40 traveler- it made dragonspine feel like an interesting, new area as well as a challenge since it was actually dangerous

That’s actually so fucking sad. The dragon didn’t know the terror it was causing and just wanted friends, even while dying to those he wanted to befriend, he never blamed them and wished for a positive outcome.

It's so painful when a very innocent character realises they've done something wrong and accepts their horrible fate without hating the ones who gave it to them. I'm crying over Durin again ahhaha.
