I have started playing Genshin Impact since version 2.0 and I have missed out on a lot of these events. Glad I was able to play this one because I really enjoyed it. The cutscenes look amazing!

I'd like to shake the hand of the genius who decided that the best cutscenes should be limited events. Then break it so he can't sign off on anymore deals like this.
What about the GROUP of people who think it's okay to have character stories, and hangout events stay behind, but not lore dense events like this? And hide the exclusive weapons behind these events for newer players to never get them?!
Tis why I won't spend money on this game. Hoyo doesn't care about new player experience, so they won't get my wallet.
@@tink5488 well true I get you fr- and I wish they could make it a permanent quest.. but yeah the rewards won't be exclusive.. but it's just ik this is how things work some things are meant to be exclusive so that if players come they don't go otherwise they would miss very important things in the lore to experience on themselves and it's a good way in my point of view
@@Arcane_AyushIt isn’t good for Hoyo at all. After all, here I am, watching a RUclips video instead of playing their game. What about the new players? Or those of us who might have real life stuff that takes priority for a few weeks. Then there are periods when you could play, but there’s nothing interesting left to do in the game.

@@tink5488 I get the limited weapons since they can just release new good/better weapons and put them on banners, and the limited weapons incentivize players to stick around lest they "miss out" in the future. (I don't like it either but it makes sense business-wise and isn't too horrible in terms of gameplay). HOWEVER, story events of all kinds should ALWAYS go into the story archive and be re-playable. The primo rewards can be exclusive bc that's just how events are but for the love of god just let us actually experience the full storyline I don't know half of what the deep lore is and I've been playing since Sep '22

Thanks so much for this, it's been a year since this event and since we didn't get this year's Dragonspine event (how dare Scara take away our annual update) it's nice to come back and have a refresher. This event has so many terrifying details now that i look back, the extent to which that Whopperflower mimicked Albedo is done right down to movement details. Scary.
In case you're wondering what i meant by the bit about movement details, if you compare the Whopperflower's battle movements to Albedo's, there's quite a few similarities. Most notably is at 1:16:27 when the Whopperflower pulls his left arm over his shoulder- almost an exact copy of Albedo's burst animation. Then at 1:16:34 he puts his left knee and hand to the ground. Literally the exact same position Albedo makes in his skill where he puts the Solar Isotoma on the ground. (Side note doing that pose hurts your knees so i feel bad for them both.) and of course at the beginning of the cutscene and right after that moment he attacks the Traveler, folding one arm behind his back and bringing his feet together several times before pulling the sword upwards for a second attack. Literally the first two parts of Albedo's normal attack.
The attention to detail is scary.
I love scara but I agree, our alchemy boy deserves another event! Every winter.
@@RikkiJk Ohh okay. So that's why I can't get that quest with the impersonator? I've never gotten to do it and I thought it was apart of a story quest I'd have to somehow unlock.
@@Archon_of_Freedom_ yeah, a lot of really lore-important quests were limited-time. It sucks, but hopefully they'll add them permanently someday.

I ADORE fauxbedo !!!! It's so unfair that this is just a one-time event. I was lucky enough to play the og but I want him to become relevant again!!! I want him to go through character development!!! Just from that one chat we have with him when he subtly traumadumps over the quality of Starsilver, he's so fascinating

i wasn't playing during this time (i've only played ever since 3.3). it's nice to have this as a new player, so i can witness the story offered in the event.
it sucks how so many critical story quests are just events. this also happened to scaramouche, we met him 3 times in events before officially ever meeting him in inazuma. the events added a lot of character to scaramouche and it sucks that we won’t see them again. just like this, if you missed the event, you haven’t seen albedo since his first appearance in an archon quest.
Thank you so much for this video. For us who started playing later on, it's very nice to have someone show the events we've missed like this. It's a bit unfair that they're not playable layer on >:/ but of course that wouldn't work. Keep it up! 💞

1:04:47 the pose I can’t-
So Joel's dad could've died and resurrected by Durin's blood since that whopper flower that became subject three was resurrected the same way. Albedo at that last scene was sus! For a sec I really thought it's subject 2, actually til now I doubt if it's him or not. And what about the gardener? Is albedo testing traveler? If somehow subj 2 would have the mark, will the traveler be able to differentiate the two? So much questions we need another event or albedo's 2nd story quest. I give up hoping we'll get Venti's so..
well- he clearly mentioned and we even see in the cutscene that the original Albedo has the star mark only- the subject 2 is pefect so it doesn't have the mark , that's why subject 2 said that "only I would have to dispose you and the traveller" but yeah u are right I think- it was some sort of hint for traveller that if that case happens where subject 2 decides to have the mark again and able to get somehow-.. then would the traveller be able to recognise-
( and don't worry Venti's story quest will come and it will also be a banger just like other's archon 2nd story quest- at least by the end )

Do u all feel the same thing that Albedo in Mondstat is an imposter because original Albedo mentioned about the subject 3 imposter,he cares about his birth mark but that imposter is trying to make a joke out of it and also another reason is that Albedo prefers to do research on Dragonspine because there are less distractions and peaceful environment but imposter Albedo in Mondstat prefers to become a Gardner and wants to attract people and other life forms, don't u think that is an imposter. Pretty much sus to me though, I wish to see his next story quest and what would be the ending,I am expecting for an happy ending.☺️
That fight scene was all kinds of awesome! Music was on point as well.
