Got the exact same code today i really hope its not faulty, the mechanic said they will try to clean the system and replace the fluid, witch was pitch black.
Still figuring out what the problem n mine 2004 is.... Struggled to open the ABS Module.... Only light corrosion on the pins but struggled to get to the other side of the PCB, where the magic is happening. But its working fine (well, as fine as before) after opening so dont be afraid guys. Its doable ;)
On the topic of threads. Use thread tape. Not liquid lock. The threads are likely worn a bit and it’s allowing fluid to bypass. Thread locker could help but it’s job is to keep the nut in place, not seal. If the hex head is starting to warp, it might be challenging to remove if it keeps leaking. The correct next step would be to replace the line and use thread tape. I use thread tape on all my brake lines with 100% success.
My ABS light came on when it was raining a lot during recent days. Today when it is sunny the problem dissappeared :-/. It hasn't been showing ABS light previously (last year) though when raining much more.
Interesting! So I have a 2000 9-5 2.3t, I have the TCS light on the dash only. My understanding is that it is an ABS pump as well. What are your thoughts?
I had my original abs module rebuilt by upfix. Last 100 miles. Then just bought one on eBay. It lasted 180 miles. Do you know what could be popping it?

I should give you mine, Kyle.

Teflon thread seal tape? That may help seal the wobbled out threads from the ‘03?

Stripping/cross threading the threads on the pump unit is so stupidly easy, I’ve gone through 4…
