The Interment of a Burial Vault

In this video I provide a detailed explanation of the ceiling in lowering process of a Wilbert burial vault.
Whether or not the family is present for this task, it is treated with respect and care.
This burial bolt provides protection for the casket and keeps groundwater from entering the vault. This vault also helps maintain the grave plot above the casket, by preventing collapse as the casket naturally deteriorates.

Butyl is what is also used to seal automotive glass to the body of the vehicle. Very strong and secure.

Hi, thanks for this video. Always enjoy the respect and dedication you put into each burial you oversee.
In case you have to open a vault, once sealed, like you mentioned when someone forgot something in the casket, who bears the cost of that? With Burial Vaults being so expensive, that would be a large amount of money for someone to swallow.

Me, I remained behind to witness the vault and burial. Although I didn't have enough money for the vaults they presented I had the concrete container for my parents. Sure, I would have loved to have a really nice vault, but the prices of those things-well, it's just not monetarily prudent.

How long do you believe that a vault will hold up under the weight of the earth above it? As well constructed as Wilburt Vaults are, I can see them remaining structurally sound for a Century but I don't really know.
