  • This video portrays the start to finish process for a Committal Service set up. An average set up may take from forty five minutes to 3 hours, depending on elements such as weather, distance from the road, working around headstones, hillsides, and more.
    The Wilbert Copper Triune is one of Wilbert Burial Vault Company's highest quality burial vaults. The Triune line of vaults also features stainless steel, or bronze.
    Moat families chose personalization options on the Burial Vault that match well with the features of the casket. Burial Vaults range from a few hundred dollars, to $10,000+ for vaults such as The Wilbert Bronze.
    In my area (Central Illinois/Indiana) most Cemeteries require a Burial Container of some kind. If casket protection isn't a primary concern for the family, a grave liner that is required by the cemetery is only a few hundred dollars.
    For any questions about the Burial Vault industry feel free to leave a comment and I will do my best to reply. My page is for education and respect.

    The single rose, left atop the vault for Florene, was poetic to witness. It was apt. I really appreciate these custom expressions that you allow, in accommodation for the wishes of family, in your day-to-day work.

    My 1st husband was a Vault man, he worked for what it used to be called, Kelly Vault. He worked out of the Danville IL branch, with main location being in Urbana IL, for which it still remains. This brought back memories of when i tagged along on a few funeral set ups. It really does take a professional to do this type of work. Thank you for showing all of what it takes to set up a Vault and Casket.
    Blessings to you all,
    Laurel

    This man is a prime example of a man with a good work ethic. He takes good care of equipment and tools. He does everything he can by making sure everything is as good as he can make it. It shows respect for himself and the family's. I know from experience no matter how perfect it is someone didn't like this or that. The arrangements aren't really the problem. It's their pain of loss. Thank you so much for all you do to make it as comfortable for the family's.

    What % of graves have water in them when you get there? Approx.

    • @WesternInfidel-sk8lv
      @WesternInfidel-sk8lv Месяц назад +1

      That is entirely dependent on the local water table, however, the Wilbert vaults are entirely waterproof and once sealed are airtight as well. Once sealed, he could put that vault in the bottom of a pond and that casket would still be dry as dust.

    I hope you get double the average salary. Where I live, it takes two people to set up/tear down everything at the graveside. Also, they don't leave a dirt mound like that on graves here. It's a slight rise and they put the grass back that they took off before they dug the grave. Of course, much of the grass dies so you have to resow it anyway.

    Hi, Great video. Always wondered how Vaults were handled at Cemeteries so glad to have found your channel. Really enjoy your videos and your love for all animals.
    Have to ask, I have been to many Cemetery burials and have never seen a Vault Guy dressed up for the service part. Usually the only workers dressed up are the Funeral Home Staff working the service. Do you dress up on your own accord or was that part of your training? I think it is an awesome idea that shows respect to the family and friends attending the Graveyard Service.

    I have a lot of respect for people in the funeral profession. I don't know if I would be able to do anything like that. I know it's just a job. But I personally wouldn't be able to do it! ❤

    Are the vaults casted from molds? You should suggest they add slightly rounded anchor points on all four corners to prevent damage / marring from the metal wire harness used to put it in place over the grave. Thank you for sharing the videos of your professionalism! You're a master of your craft.

    My grandmother's was and it horrified me.
    They put her in there and the girl stepped on top of the vault to push it down.
    Water engulfed it and the water flowed up and out of the grave .
    All I could think was my grandmother is getting wet .
    Not happy at all and I think it should have been pumped out 😔

    I find your videos interesting. I appreciate the attention to details and the dignity you show. I live in Northern California and the burial vault is something I have never heard of. Our cemeteries use the concrete grave liners. My question is do many of the families stay for actual closing and lowering of the vault into the ground? Thank you. Tim

    • @organrick
      @organrick 2 месяца назад +3

      I would say that in a lot of cases, the family doesn’t stay, although I suppose they could if they want to. I’ve been to a lot of funerals, as I have a big family, and also as a church organist, and I think that only in one instance, they did the burial right then (in this case, it was a baby, and they didn’t use a vault or a grave liner.) I grew up in New England, and usually they wait with the burial until everyone leaves. That is what happened with my grandmother when she passed in December, and she lived in Pennsylvania. I live in the south now, and the actual burial is part of it, from what I understand, where it isn’t in the north. The graveside service usually consists of prayers, and that kind of thing, and then they say something like “the service is concluded”, along with information about where the reception is going to be. Someone I was talking to said that it’s normal in the south for the burial to happen during that service. I would say it’s a regional thing, or what the family decides.

    Question , what is the piece of paper you put in the top of the vault?

    • @willymccabe6602
      @willymccabe6602 2 месяца назад +1

      It's information about the person in the grave. Name, date of birth and death, probably information about place or where death certificate is filed. In the event of exhumation or flooding or headstone damage etc, they could confirm who is in the vault without having to disturb the remains if need be.

      Even in the Muslim faith , they do not put the body in a grave full of water.
      A grave getting wet is one thing,but sending your loved ones in 2 feet of water is disrespectful to me
