The amount of care you put Into your work is very admirable. My grandmother was recently laid to rest and I witnessed her interment and the guy that was doing seemed really irritated I was there watching. To me it seemed like it was just a job for him. But you take so much care and have so much respect for the families loved ones. My hat goes off to you sir
I was a military pall bearer during the first two years of my 34 year Air Force career. I found it to be one of my most cherished and proud accomplishments
@@DaveSParty I’m dying soon of lung cancer. Maybe I should start looking on where I’m gonna get buried., that’s kind of creepy. I was gonna get cremated, but the Bible said to get buried.
Everything is so beautiful, from the way you handle the interment of the deceased to the way you protect the living. I LOVE your videos. So much respect.
You do a very nice job setting up the vault & the tent &chairs you are really dedicated to your work makeing sure everything is in place & clean you take the time to make sure its right you do a awsome job i like your videos again great job
Very nice job. In today's litigious society, the f/d might be hesitant to help in case something goes wrong. If they don't help or touch the equipment, vault, etc. they can't be held liable. Welcome to America today!!!!
Good video i was a vault setter for wilbert funeral services for 5 years and let me tell you in the hills this job is difficult for one guy to do sometimes at a cemetery one side of the grave boards would be on the ground and the other side would be blocked up 2 to 3 feet most of the time i used the hilljoy and would build a ramp up to the graveboards but if it was to steep i would use the logan to set the vault on pipes it was ruff work but at the end of the day it was an honor doing it for the families
You need to be the voice of a meditation series or something. Such a calming voice. Ami’ve been watching your videos, you really know and care about what you are doing
Thank you so much for explaining your thoughts on the preburial vault thing. That is why i wanted to get cremated i didnt want water or. Bugs crawling through by body that just plan grosses me to think of. I also want my dogs cremated remains with me and this so gives me the opportunity to do my wishes and thoughts of the way i want to be laid to rest. Thank you so much for helping me in this thought process. I dont plan on being buried any time soon but as i have no children i want to make sure i get what i want in my last resting place. I love your videos.
I'm in Clinton, Indiana but I'll be buried in Hume, Illinois. Hopefully we can meet up. before I go. I'm a 100% service connected disabled veteran so I need to plan ahead.
Wow, great video and Voiceover to explain everything. I live in Northwest Indiana and can vouch that with funerals here they usually have the Vault already lowered in the grave and have the lid on the truck away from the grave. It seems like with your setup it may be a little more work to begin with but pulling the cover up and onto the vault bottom is easier with your method.
Some of my ancestors are buried in a private cemetery in Watson, Il, near Effingham. It was pretty obvious there were no vaults, at least at the beginning. It also was not kept up. I was a child when we went there. I think I had nightmares for weeks. There were lots of good size wholes. I think we could see some of the coffins. Or it could have been my childhood imagination.
So interesting. Thank you so much for explaining how your great work is being done. Now I am from a country in Europe and we don’t have vaults in the ground. It is just the casket in the ground. Why do you use a vault?
In the uk. The mourners don’t leave the grave. Until the coffin is lowered into the grave. How long Do you have to wait before the ground settles to put a headstone in place?
Instal a small line leval on the boom of the logan.....it makes it easier if it's hilly and the boom or I-beam leval....just zip tie the leval on to the beam close to the end where the in -out crank is that helps crank the winch trolly up and down the I beam!!!
If you don't already make them, I would highly suggest the same kind of vault for urns. Even better, vaults that can hold multiple urns. You can make them with seals that should be removed and replace with each burial. Btw, I think you didn't notice the no fishing sign. 😂
Thanks for filming this where it takes up the whole screen. I was wondering about the casket that you saw from 1967. I would like to know what kind of condition the paint was in and if any other things you noticed. Thanks!
That was good stuff to know Question my parents have all there stuff bought payed for and yes the vault people already have the volt in the ground told them that had to be done in order for them to be paid the question is when that time comes and there vault is full of water or what not what should I do to make sure they do what’s rite
It’s degrades the level of protection sitting in the ground for years. It does not have to wear rest, placing it and purchasing at time of death or even prearranged is great because it’s sitting in a warehouse when needed. I’ve watched a lot of videos shoes guys do it the right way from someone who wants worked in a funeral home. 😂
Theres far to much package going into the ground taking up valuable space In England it just a coffin from plywood or cardboard plastic handle all looks real wood real brass handles but not and shifting to cremation has high prices But land now is been used for buildings in america the eletes are buying up all lands parks what will you do 😢
As someone who has burried 2 peoiple that meant the world to me in the last few years...this false setup I would not have allowed. I stayed to watch them be lowered into the grave for their full final resting place. to be moved after being put in the vault to me would not be acceptable. I get the hillside concern but that wouldn't have been acceptable from my perspective.
Outstanding! As a funeral director, I appreciate your caring in this aspect of a funeral with burial. It's what I expect for my family. Well done!

I just can’t get enough of your videos. I’m amazed by every burial of the care and pride that you put into your work. You are a true gentleman.
Although you haven’t set up a burial vault for anyone that I know, I appreciate the care you have taken for the family who they’re burying that day
The care love and respect you have for each committal service is just awesome and very very much appreciated ❤
❤ An extraordinary presentation, completed with integrity, dignity, and loving care!❤

You are such an amazing and compassionate man, you take your Job with a heart God bless you!!!
I just learned something I had no working knowledge about. Vault seals are more important than I thought.
GOD BLESS YOU FOR THE JOB YOU DO. I WORK AT A FUNERAL HOME IT IS SO REWARDING. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Love that vault with the carapace. The stainless is my favorite and my choice for internment.
Terrific video. Your care is amazing. I learnt a lot from watching this.
Thank you for your conscientious and kind hearted work.
Love the fishing. and then showing the "No Fishing" sign in next shot. Lil humor helps

God bless you. Thank you for all you do and for sharing this with us.
Thank you for the information. I always wondered how that works.

extremely well done video, you pointed out a few things I had never thought of, Thank you for that. You are also very talented in your story telling.
I appreciate the respect that you show. Not sure why this showed up on my recommendations but I enjoyed watching this. It taught me alot.
Beautifully kept grounds. U do a wonderful job.❤

Hello Jeff how are you doing 👋🏻😊
Very informative. Thank you

All I can say is THANK YOU!
Very cool

Absolutely awesome on what you guys do

Thanks for filming this where it takes up the whole screen. I was wondering about the casket that you saw from 1967. I would like to know what kind of condition the paint was in and if any other things you noticed. Thanks!
The paint was next to non existent, but the handles and the plastic carapace on top were fully intact and the concrete had almost no deterioration.
That was good stuff to know
Question my parents have all there stuff bought payed for and yes the vault people already have the volt in the ground told them that had to be done in order for them to be paid the question is when that time comes and there vault is full of water or what not what should I do to make sure they do what’s rite
I get you carry touchup paint, but is there a better way to keep from dinging up the sides of the vault so much?
It would be interesting to know how Elvis Presley grave was done and Lisa‘s, was she lowered in from the top or the side
I think it goes without saying that the occoupat doesn't care.
Thanks.
this feels like home
I see you laid another stone down to lower the vault and casket do you reset the stone you moved or did the cemetery do it

Nice but me as another vault company i put carpet under the lid not on th e grass been doing for 30 years nice set upb
Do you have to be certified or licensed in each state for this?
question, who digs the grave? The cemetery personnel?
i would never want to be buried in a cemetery with a pond that does not allow fishing. these are definitely NOT my people. just saying...
How much does a sealed Burial vault way,? Am told, an empty casket is about 300 pounds. ..
I think he said 3000 lbs.
Вы молодцы, действительно, все делаете качественно и тактично; но не пойму, а почему все делается без родных и близких усопшего?
Theres far to much package going into the ground taking up valuable space

Hey! No fishing Pal!
Hmmm, no fishing
Wouldnt that be a hilarious black comedy where the vault with the casket inside went flying dow the hill into the pond?😂😂😂😂😀. Just sayin
No, it would not!
You should stick to the photos as shown
