- This video is the start to finish process of a Committal Service featuring a Wilbert Venetian Ovation.
The Ovation Set Up is a Wilbert Funeral Services Patent, it's a design for the Burial vault that allows the vaults cover to be displayed safely at a downward angle towards the friends and family at the service.
Our vault company has an almost unlimited way to personalize the vault colors and the cover of the Vault.
Some funeral directors also bring sharpies to allow the family and friend's to write one last message to their loved one who has passed.
It is an honor to provide these services for each of the families and funeral homes we provide our burial vault services for.

Didn’t know a vault man was till I found your page when i lost my aunt I just saw a guy under a tree watching and i was the last to leave and finally realized what he was there for. So I waived at him and told him we got a problem I’m not leaving until he is done and I’m sure he couldn’t start till I’m gone…he made sure I was okay…and like houdini trucks and a crew appeared out of no where and I watched from a few feet off…toward the end I asked them if all the flowers could go in the vault with her as they are her flowers and they said absolutely…I stayed till the end cause it just didn’t feel right leaving my aunt there alone to be laid to rest by strangers…. Nice to understand what’s happening from your videos…you got a big heart and your the type of person that has no clue how important you are cause this is just you being you. Well understand to the rest of us you are pretty damn awesome !
It’s always the folks with big hearts that never understand how special they are cause the big heart comes natural to them.
God bless

Something very reassuring about your videos. Thank you. Its helped me come to terms with my parents and my brother's burial.
Yes very reassuring. I've got cancer and I truly feel alot of peace and guidance on what I want and things I need to get in order. I'm deeply grateful for his channel and videos. So Much love and respect.

After seeing those flowers blow off a couple of times, I was so glad to see you placed them back on top right before lowering the lid--thank you!
People should be very proud of your work and the care you take in placing a loved one to rest. Thank you from Kentucky!
A very hard working man there . Good job

You do the best set up I have ever seen. The equipment is in great shape and well taken care of. I love the attention to detail and the larger tent that you use. It never works out well trying to put two 14x14 tents together. Very professional. This what I always thought a family should see at the gravesite. Thank you for your professionalism.
my god, your voice is so soothing
Thats part of the sales pitch you just saw.
I don’t know if we’ve got that kind of burial contraptions here in Australia as I don’t finish any burial committals that I go to.
It would be wonderful if such compassion and care would be shown to the bereaved family. More power to you, young man. I’m a big fan now of your channel. Watching from Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺.
Hello Willy how are you doing 👋🏻😊
I never waited for my parents lowed in their graves. I know everyone has a job to do. We have spent close to 20k for there funeral. I'm 65 now, so I wanted a natural burial. Having problems with getting it done, I've decided to donate my body to a medical school, then to be cremated. I know your an excellent person, doing 200%, on your job. Your voice is very calming. When my aunt passed out been raining and her grave was full of water we off set her to the side. They were going pump out the water before they buried her. My dad's there and there graves are at the bottom of a small hill. I know you are an amazing person and really enjoy your job ,and and as stated you do 200% percent with all the care you do. Sincerely Greg from Maryville Tennessee...be blessed always
I agree personal job and a great man.
I am so impressed by the amount of professionalism and genuine care you show show in your job.
You take great pride in your work and that's commendable.
Thanks for posting these videos. We have all gone to graveside committals and were too reticent to inquire about these details. In the rural community where my relatives have been buried, it is customary to leave for the luncheon and not watch the lowering. But then, the local funeral director is like family and trusted. He also takes photos of the casket, vault and lowering.
You do your job in a professional manner and show respect for the deceased. In a lot of cases I'd imagine nobody is there to watch, yet you'd still do it that way because it wouldn't occur to you to cut any corners.
Thank you for sharing your work. Watching this is soothing.
Extraordinarily professional. Very interesting to watch other cultures Funerary rites and techniques. In the UK we use very different techniques so this is fascinating to see. You are quite a master of your craft sir, my admiration goes out to your good and caring work.
Keep up your good work man
She recently passed. Prayers for family.
Yeah how are they going to pay for it? Sell the house??
Working out in the elements is the hardest thing about working in a cemetery which I did back in the mid 80’s.
Thank you for your videos that show how much care and respect you give to each resident and their families. I can see why the costs of burials are what they are. I would have never guessed all that it entails just to get the casket to the grave site. You explain so much. Again, thank you for all you do for the families. ❤
I see you drive a Ram 6.7 diesel. Look at Banks power intake. This system will eliminate the dreaded grid heater bolt failure. If you experience this problem, expect a repair cost between $20-30k.

I applaud you sir for a job so we'll done. And thank you for sharing your information with us. God Bless you.
This is awesome. I worked for a while in Pre-Need at S-H in Dallas, and I know the Grounds and Internment Staff were VERY Professional to make sure everything was Perfect, as it should be. Unfortunately, when my FIL passed back in 2005 in Roberts, Illinois, someone swiped the John Deere Floral Spray/Monument (it was a tractor, 24"x24"!) less than 24 hours after the burial. We won't be back to Illinois, sadly... but I hope the person or persons who stole this OFF OF A DEAD FARMERS GRAVE enjoy the Karma that is coming to you. Love, the Family of Paul Benz.
Just found your content. I am a fan and binging. You are amazing. You are my new favorite channel! God Bless. You are the best!
This is true compassion and caring. So rare these days. Always believed my grandad, LfDE. Wilbert vault and batesville casket. Which he went to rest in. Thanks for your care, attention to detail , and compassion!

You do an excellent job , you take pride with your profession !!!
Hi you do a really nice job and well thought of. I worked in a cemetery many years ago and I found the job really satisfying. One of my jobs was doing setups and burials and helping vaultmen. We were fortunate to have flush to the ground headstones (a memorial garden). I love visiting cemeteries to this day. Cemeteries are for the living not just the departed. All the best. Pete
Thank you for your videos, it is the kind of thing I didn't know I wanted to know about but found interesting. I appreciate your level of respect and professionalism in both your execution of your job duties and in putting these videos together.
Very impressed with you sir. Very thoughtfull and professional!!!!
Wow now that's respect most people would just leave the flowers in the bottom I wish you guys were in ft LAUDERDALE FL

Do you ever shift a vault to the southwest while writing songs on the guitar at dusk while having and unpresidential time for coming back to the funeral?
If your paying through the nose for it.

Thanks for paying attention to all the details. That is not always what I have experienced with my family and friend's burials. I'm in Jackson, MS and just sub. to your channel.
In the Netherlands, no vault is placed, but only earth. In my city they have removed all the old graves, I think for various reasons including deterioration and making space. It is actually big business even after death because you pay for a place for 5, 10 or 20 years and then the surviving relatives can pay again or it will be cleared and a new person can be buried. Even the gravestones are collected and reused. We also usually have a plate on the ground next to a headstone.
I'm like the funeral lady on Sanford and Son. I've been to more funerals that I could possibly count. Most of our family are not buried in vaults. We want to be able to go all the way back to dust and not hindered by a vault. I really appreciate that you make a cross in the bottom of a Christian's grave. It is so awesome that you go to that much trouble.
I had a friend who was buried in a vault. His parents wished to have him moved from a cemetery that was no longer being cared for. The vault had failed and was filled with water. His casket was also filled with water. The manufacturer replaced the vault and paid for a new casket. So once again, I think it is awesome that you take the time to make sure that the lid is properly aligned to ensure proper sealing.
In that case, it was probably a moot point. Once the vault and casket were filled with water....he would have decomposed...awful to think about. My condolences for your loss.
Dude, you’re very professional. I like your work.

We don’t use vaults here in uk, I wish we did. I would definitely use one each for my wife and I, great videos by the way thank you for taking the time to show us how it all works .
If you dont mind my asking, you only use caskets?
@@user-pk3ot7jx5w hi yes, in the uk we get buried in a wooden coffin as we call them, you call them caskets. 6ft deep grave, unless it’s for two people then it’s about 10feet. No vaults or grave liners just dig the grave wooden coffin in you go.
@@user-pk3ot7jx5wcoffins actually.
I've been watching the pair of Irish cemetery visitors here on YT. Vaults were common in the 17-19th Centuries but were only for the well off. The poor were lucky to get a field stone and the really wealthy had mausoleums. Those old vaults have often failed after 200 years ,being built of brick . I have a lot of ancestors from England and most of their graves from the 1500's are slowly disappearing, especially those laid to rest in London Around Christs Church in Spitalfields.
@@user-pk3ot7jx5wAlthough you asked about the UK I will answer how it is in Sweden and I hope you find it interesting. Less than 10% of funerals are casket burials these days, the rest are cremations. When a casket is buried it's buried directly into the ground, ,,vaults are not used and I believe they are not allowed to be used.
Speculating a bit here, but the right to a grave is only 25 years here, after which a relative needs to pay to extend the right in intervals of 15 years. If there are no relatives or if the relatives don't want to extend the right the grave is returned and can be reused for someone else. Any remains are reinterred in a communal grave area.
I believe this process would be much more difficult if there is a vault buried in the ground.
Very interesting video. Thank you for sharing. I recently lost my mom on January 23rd of this. They did it a little differently at her grave. The Top of her vault was laying in the grass. It wasn't on the side like you showed. I wonder how they got it on the top of the vault when it's lying on the grass.
I’ve never seen such attention to detail with services where I’m from. Every one I’ve seen just uses a couple of 2x8s layed across the grave a base to a vault lowers in first the casket is lowered by hand then a lid “caps” over top of the casket and base. I’ve never seen a lowering device used or a vault such as these.
Rest in peace, Mrs. B.
You do an amazing job
But is is reassuring that you know your job well
Q. Do you normally work solo by yourself when it comes grave set up from start to finish to burial
Or do you work with one other person?
Looks hard work
But thank you for what you do
For all those individuals that you have buried
May they all RIP 🪦
My dad worked for his friend’s dad that owned a head stone company back in the late 60’s and they did this but I don’t think they had that cart thing. Being we live in Florida and also being so long ago I think they still had to dig a six foot hole.
Rest In Peace Margaret 🙏🙏
Mr. Wilbert there in South Carolina wishes to be let down by one of his big rotator tow trucks; or so I've heard.
I have a question both of my parents are buried in the same type of burial vault that you’re using but I noticed that when they had the lid suspended before they sealed it, they went underneath the lid and pulled paper out from underneath it like to expose the glue. Are they supposed to do that
TY. Geez. 👍
As a german guy, I must ask you: what's the purpose of this vault? In Europe the Coffin goes directly in earth...
In other videos, I’ve learned that his response to this question is that the vault offers an impenetrable seal that has been proven effective in the prevention of grave robbing, vermin/pests getting to the deceased, and/or any odors from the decomposition.
Hurricane Beryl, was still quite defined.
Also why do you have a cloth covering over the casket,?
Where did you change at because we seen you put the chairs up and next thing you know you’re in his tie and shirt and pants
in my country is minimum for single grave 1,8 m and max 3p 2,8m we have no bagger only with hands its hard
East to West was originally because of the worship of the sun god Amun-Ra !!! It's also where Amen originated from !!!
I hope you are paying attention to the head of the deceased being at the Head stone...
How do you make sure you don’t dig into a neighbor?
Very Interesting, it's hard to hear you speak with the music in the background. Turned down would be nice. Thanks for the videos, I just hopped on board,
The fact wilbert has a patent on bent rails and a boat winch is just odd.
Vaultman !.... Making burials safer for you and I.
🥰🥰🥰🥰
I doubt there is some kind of license attached to the lowering device that prevents you using it with a different brand of vault. They may only want you to use it with there brand. You purchased them and should be able to use them how you please. It’s like John deer saying you can only use their tractor for corn or something.
I mean I have no idea, but I would wait till I received a cease and desist notification.
The patent Wilbert Funeral Services hold is on the rails themselves, so it's the way the lid is displayed is patented.
@@Illianaheadstonecareofficialgotta love corporate America, huh? Those poor billionaires and their shareholders just don't have enough yet. Just found your channel, very interesting. Thanks for sharing your world.
Do other people help out?
So.. why a vault like that.. Seems to me that it would take a tremendously long time before that grave can be reused, wich leads to two things: One, you will over the several hundreds of years simply not have the space for burials. Secondly, as plots gets filled up around a site, other family members will eventually be placed further and further apart.. Here, we only uses biodegradable materials, and only the casket is lowered into the ground. But eventually, the grave is being reused afyer 50+ years unless the family wants to upheld it. My church was buildt in the 1100s, and have a cemetary that has been in works now for nearly a millenium. If everyone had been placed in concrete vaults all that time, the cementary would be seen from space, how large it would have been!
In the US, Graves don't get reused.
@@maureenproietta2065 that was my point, yes.. :) so, in the next few hundreds or thousands of years, how much land do you have left....

Useless.... water still gets into the body after heavy rains.
It does keep the casket from collapsing which would then make the ground above the casket sink in.
@@lindamitchell-fox1926 Yes, but not the point. The body is not protected from water getting into the casket. I'm amazed no one has made a water tight casket or vault.
