Thanks for the comment. There is so much to do and you are absolutely correct, it needs to be one step at a time. 18+ businesses need help and they are getting it as resources, manpower, and time become available. I say it in one of my videos that this is "Organized Chaos".
Will any of what’s going on in these hard hit areas will any of it be resolved or has corruption taken over and lying cause that’s what I hear unless that’s a lie too?
I can't speak to what's going on behind the scenes from a government/bureaucracy standpoint however from a "boots on the ground" standpoint Chimney Rock specifically is being rebuilt. The process is slow because it's all volunteers and most if not all of the materials to rebuild are being donated. At least this is what I have seen.
Yeah, I spoke to a few locals over that past few months and I think what a lot of people don't realize is the amount of chemicals that are now in the soil from "everything". Oil, gas, anti-freeze, brake fluid, transmission fluid, battery acid just from vehicles. Heating oil from houses that use that, sewer waste, all the chemicals that factories and other businesses use. All of that is in the soil and I am sure washed in to Lake Lure.
I appreciate the feedback. In this video specifically, there was a fair amount of downtime prior to being assigned tasks. This gave us some time to see the progress made up to this point. As far as getting video content, that's the purpose of shooting video, so I can document, inform, and show the masses the resilience of this community and the efforts we are taking to bring Chimney Rock back to life.
Progress, all along the way things look better😊 II can see how things would get overwhelming. One thing at a time.

You seem to be hindering more than you are helping. I don't see the need for you to be there other than you're just getting video content.
