As the wife of a recovering alcoholic, this song brings me to tears, this version and the live video get me every time. I am the woman in that video (not really, but you know). We were in the middle of a divorce when he hit his rock bottom and convinced me to give him one more chance. He is now over 9 months sober! A first in our 10 years of marriage. I am so proud of him. He is finally the man I knew he could be.
I agree. Him and Corey Taylor. Everyone thinks of Corey Taylor as the “screaming guy in Slipknot” but if you listen to their song Snuff, or his other band Stone Sour, he has such an amazing voice. It also helps when you hold the world record for the biggest known vocal range, at about 7.3 octaves without falsetto
David Draiman...IMO the BEST male vocalist out there! Unbelievable timber to his voice that I've never heard before! Has awesome control...can go from clear as a bell and gentle to a hard rasp, from baritone to tenor and back on a dime! David's voice is so darn unique....it's amazing....it has so many colors and textures to it. The man can sing anything! Yes....another masterpiece from Disturbed! I have to play this for my friend who is staying with us. She's battled cancer, has had 8 different abdominal surgeries, brain damage and blindness from an abusive ex. She's just cries and I hold her. She was homeless and there was no doubt in my mind that she needed to come here to heal. Please say a quick little prayer for her. Thank you... Lola

David Draiman has one of the best voices in Metal and Rock. They’re mellowing somewhat, as most of us do. Love these guys.
