Making a Baroque tailpiece

This baroque cello needed a new tailpiece. Unfortunately they are hard to find so I made it on my own. Doesn't it look nice?

I've seen that many baroque tailpieces have purfling on, i was wondering is it a lot more difficult to cut purfling channel on carved surfaces rather than the usual flat edge of the violin?

The long side won't be a problem but the two short sides maybe. You have to bend the purlfing in a way that it doesn't want to!

Yes, maple is hard enough. And what do you mean with harp tailpiece?

what about fingerboard?

This cello had already a fingerboard. But I will have to make a baroque fingerboard for the Pochette.
