- Jeramey might even be worse than we thought, y'all. In an effort to defend himself against his ex-girlfriend's claims, he wound up admitting that she called the cops to protect her from him during one of their disputes and that they sought it fit to permanently confiscate some of his g*ns.
He left the details surrounding why they would take them out in order to skew the narrative and randomly let it be known that his ex has a DUI, which is completely irrelevant to the story.
He's a weirdo and a master manipulator and I believe everything his ex said about him.

Absolutely nothing he said disproves her claim. Lets flip it babe! If YOURE story is true, why were you still in contact with her?? Why would you stay in contact and continue to work with someone who falsey accused you of DV and had your precious guns taken away? That just doesnt happen. Now, DV victims staying in contact and continuing relationship with their abusers is incredibly common. In fact, her apologizing, staying in contact with him, etc just reaffirms my belief that he abused her because thats a textbook response to abuse.

Exactly, because it could be used to impeach him on the stand. That's why lawyers don't want their clients to talk. The only time they want the jury to hear their client speak is on the stand (if at all).
I’m a lawyer (but not a criminal lawyer) and I would say just do not reply or give a general denial. A point by point denial works for certain social media situations but over explaining never looks good unless you know what you are doing, and he does not.
His descriptions of his guns sound crazy. He just went from being a jerk to seeming dangerous.
He’s holding a notebook so maybe his lawyer wrote down what to say but I agree that it’s pretty common for lawyers to tell him to keep quiet.

He didn’t watch the video, yet he knows what she said? So, her story has been consistent over the years? She didn’t just make this up? Sounds like Jeramy confirmed that the story is true.
We know the statistics about DV and how inept the police are. It’s not surprising that there wouldn’t be a report. She was living with him and had no family in the area and nowhere to go.
I found that odd too especially because he wrote out notes of specific things to reply to without knowing what points she made in her videos.
I think this woman is doing it for clout to get on the bandwagon of Jeremy hate, it seems too convenient for me with her bringing this up now.

@@TheFallonCarringtonThat’s not even true. Anyone who’s ever had to deal with police on pretty much anything know they have way too much control over what they do and do not take seriously. My ex was abusive and I called the cops 10+ times before he was actually arrested. Several of those times I had bruises but he would leave before they got there and it was essentially “Meh. Looking for him would be too hard.” I eventually got a decent cop who took it seriously because he saw the escalation but I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the early complaints were never documented and just chalked up to a “lovers spat” or whatever.

The telling part of his narrative was the fact that he kept focusing on the lack of proof rather than denying the incidents actually happened. Just because a report doesn't exist doesn't mean there wasn't an altercation.

Another thing that bothers me is the comments like “If she was scared why didn’t she pull a gun on me?” instead of “I wouldn’t hurt a woman so there was no reason to be scared.” Also, you don’t go looking for a police report if you didn’t do anything wrong.

The biggest thing that stood out about her story was their move from Florida.
THAT was a classic move.
After she showed that not only would she seek refuge somewhere else, but with his family exposing his behaviour.
Working with survivors that part was so sadly typical. He then wanted a “new start” away from things causing this stress. But the truth is he wants to further isolate and remove those outside eyes.
The worst thing for an abuser is for someone else to see what they are. The DV dynamic depends on both parties living out the act for others.
The move was something that really stuck out to me as well. I immediately thought, "He's trying to isolate her and doing what he can to not allow others to tarnish his reputation or side with his ex/ then gf."

YES, they absolutely do in domestic violence cases. At least where I lived in 2012 (texas) when it happened to me. I tried to have the charges dropped and the state said no. If there is enough evidence to go forward without the victim's cooperation, they absolutely will. Because they know abusers commonly talk their victim out of pressing charges.
@@caseyw.6550 i agree! They absolutely DO press charges! I had a male FRIEND (not partner) who was extremely intoxicated and tried to steal my purse. I ran and tried to grab it back from him and we were legit wrestling over it. The cops took him to jail on DV. I tried telling them to not do it, he was just drunk and stupid. They said that decision was not in my hands.
The fact that she still did business with him and kept in touch with him until recently discredits a lot of things. The fact that she said police had him at gunpoint sounded more like something off a tv show rather than reality.

Most people who were lying about this kind of thing would say "oh well this and this happened". It sucks to not know the truth due to lack of evidence, but from watching the show, he was very okay with lying and then tried to defend himself when he was caught. His behavior on the show tells me he is not a pleasant guy to be around.

ETA: if you’re in danger and are able to run/escape, please do so. If you must fight, fight…but, statistically speaking, running gives the best chance of survival when it’s an option.

As a victim of DV, if you do a background check on someone with a DV police report, it will not show up. That is NOT public info. Its nearly impossible to obtain. However, she should be able to have a copy from the police from the day of the incident. She should show those

You cant just voluntarily hand in your guns. It sounds like she got a DVPO (a restraining/protection order) and any firearms are taken in that case. I'm in NC and have seen firsthand how these work. I do believe his guns were deatroyed though, sheriffs offices are notorious for that

With the police report, I live in north carolina, the victim has to file a report for these. There a certain report as well for DV. Most victims dont follow through with reports when police get involved... for many reasons they dont. And most abusers highlight the fact that they dont follow through to further gaslight.
They can take his guns away if they suspect hes a threat. They can also remove him from the home with the victims permission. But if they owned the house together, north carolina cannot legally remove him from the residence they both own...
Its sucks because i know someone close to me that had a DV situation. Most victims do not go no contact even when recommended to. There are many reasons for this...
So does that mean the police have something on file that she can access to dispute his denial? Or would she have had to have filed for anything to exist? I would imagine pulling a pew pew ( as she said) on her would result in at least a report.
fl paralegal here, so laws may vary with nc. i don't recall every detail of her tik toks but lets say jeramey did hand over his weapons, she may have changed her mind. if that was the case, in fl no report would be made. the only report would be internal with the police department which'll state she was "uncooperative" or something along those lines. also, does his legal team know he posted this? lmao!

What does pointing out that there is no police report prove exactly? I could see if he were saying the cops weren’t called, but he admitted to the cops being there… so no police report just means the police didn’t do their jobs properly. Cops have to do a report on a call whether the person is innocent or not
