I just picked the 2.0 system up a few weeks ago once I saw that you can put a drawer on the bottom. I returned all of my Packout stuff that I bought during the promo because my biggest gripe is not having access to the largest bottom box without having to unstack everything.
The chargers do have fans in them, but I did not want to put venting because of all the rain we get in the Pacific Northwest, it would just be too much moisture coming into the box during most of the year
@@KuzConstrutionthey sell tiny air gaskets so that pressure does not add up and they are water proof. I built male/female plug on each side of the briefcase sized tool box. That way I can have batteries charging while locked and have a female plug on the outside so that I can plug in lights, shop vac, fan, whatever.
yes but the only thing to consider is the only box that can be used with the dolly is the x large box. if you care about having the dolly at least. the medium box fits the cleats and attaches fine, but it doesn't protrude low enough so really doesn't work without major modification. may be a small issue for most but for me it's a big enough deal that i bought just the dolly from HD and i'm printing a set of feet that will lower the bottom of that medium box to accommodate. the x large box is just too deep for what i use it for and things just get lost in there and my 3 drawer bottom boxes are just too heavy to move around at this point and stay in the van.

Also life pro típ
Save those silica packets and put them in your toolboxes. Prevents moisture + rust
Ridgid isn't that much expensive compared to the husky. Still own the Ridgid even with the other big brands I own. Need a way to divide tools.
Nice set-up on the charger box for hte battery charging. Just wondering those have fans in them and need a bit of venting also.

If you don’t register in 90 days it gets cut to three years. I’m lazy so about half of mine are registered 😂
Home Depot is all out of this and they said they do not know if they are getting any more. Is there another way to get this system?
Check the website but mine still carry’s it
probably a dumb question, but can you change the order? meaning the medium box on top and the small boxes in the middle?
Yes you can
Coming out with drawers sometime soon and they also have half boxes
