I’ve just been reading about the new update and the Master licenses. I’ve not booted up GT7 since the last update landed, and even then didn’t actually play it. I think this super license video was the last time I drove in the game so hopefully the new update will be enough to tempt me back. It’s got competition at the moment with EA WRC, but if there are new license to do I’ll sort out some tutorials.
@buli082 actually got it a couple days ago. Beat bronze by like 4 seconds. I really don't care enough to go through even more suffering just to earn silver or gold, so I'm not ever touching that license again.
I think it’s about how the weight shifts around. I think I say in the commentary that I found it better to lift and coast rather than than be either throttle or brake. Too much throttle and the car will want to step the back end out if the weight is over the back end, but it will also understeer on the wet track under moderate throttle. Heavy braking to shift the weight and slow the car down will result in the car just being unstable. Looking at my throttle and brake traces on the screen I’m lifting off the throttle into the first left hand kink at Eau Rouge, trying to take as much kerb as possible to straighten the entry into the right hand kink and climb of Radillon, easing the throttle back on. The car is on a knife edge all the way through that section and is very unpredictable so by staying neutral I found it easier than full attack.
The entire super series feels like you were hired by an eccentric billionare to test his groundbreaking new theories on how a car should be designed. Tbf whoever designed the setups for most of the cars LOVES understeer in vehicles and HATES brakes and LSDs, making most challanges feel a lil cheap in my eyes, they coulda made perfectly tuned beasts and made the time trial actually feel like its dependant on my skill , instead just if my car decided i was 2% higher on my acceleration that time so wall this time or my brake was engaged 4% to much so my backend doesnt get traction and i lose gold by .004 seconds because my cars tires are CM, SH, or if your lucky RH on a short track with all the turns. It genuinely feels like if they coulda given you flats and broken parts they woulda
Is it possible to practice this outside of the test? Like can you replicate the conditions exactly and keep going around the track in this car? I have the credits to buy the car the next time it’s in Hegarty’s and I’d like to get practice around the whole track rather than failing relatedly for every mistake in the test.
I still think this is the most difficult of all the licenses, more so than the Masters one in the MP4/4. Just think of how satisfied you’ll be when you complete it!

That first turn where it's all wet is absolute bullshit. It's to be dryer where the driving line is, and everyone else I guess went off track before you? But you aren't allowed to go off track so this is just pure fucking bullshit. Anyways whatever. Got everything else gold.
@@ToughMonkey I was kind of pissed off but with help from your video, my friend and a few hours. I finally managed to do it. I kept getting less, I got 227, 226, 225 and then 224. An hour in between all those but yeah ahahaha. It was satisfying once I was able to actually handle the vehicle and be patient. Glad it's done. Thank-you
It’s the hardest out of all licenses including the new Master licenses. Spa in the Porsche took me dozens of goes to get right. Suzuka in the McLaren I did on my third attempt.

After famous Car Physics UPDATE they changed time to get GOLD here for "2:24,500.." 🥇

I’ve uploaded all of the Master license guides. Two per day. S-10 will appear 6pm GMT on Thursday.
I did a 24:7 with a controller....after 4 hours of grind haha...pfff what a horror!!😵💫😫

How do you get the car around Radillon with that much speed? I just keep understeering off the track.

I’ve not tried to replicate it in practice. I just resetting and trying again until I got it right.

Just did 2:24.5 with no assists (yes, no ABS). To be honest, got bored after the 3rd turn in the video and just did it on my own.

Yeah it’s a swine this one. You have to be so delicate with all the driving inputs and stay in those tramlines or you’re off into the scenery.
