I tried this recipe, and the boba tea turned out great! It took a while to make ( forming the balls took a while since the tapioca paste didn't say warm for to long/harden fast kinda), but i had a lot of boba balls left over so i made a lot of boba tea. Totally worth it!
@@gengsekolah4004 ive made boba many times and the recipe is very simple!^ add a quarter-half a cup of water, a quarter cup of brown sugar, and a cup of tapioca starch. after that knead it and roll it up and boil it for 15-20 minutes! im sorry im late but i hope this is useful to you and have a wonderful day

@@parkshem5998 im also a pastry chef, in somw recipes you can replace different starches. But in this specific recipe it's called "tapioca pearls" so you can't replace tapioca flour. In some type of sauce though, like a glaze, you can often replace corn starch with tapioca starch no problem.

I don't think so. If you use corn starch, the boba won't be chewy.

@@parkshem5998 im also a pastry chef, in somw recipes you can replace different starches. But in this specific recipe it's called "tapioca pearls" so you can't replace tapioca flour. In some type of sauce though, like a glaze, you can often replace corn starch with tapioca starch no problem.
