As a Filipino, I very much appreciate the knowledge he has of ube and sago, and his acknowledgment of its origins. Thank you, sir. I’m sure that ube drink is delicious!
Ohhh this makes me miss Taiwan so much . . . taro and matcha were my go-to drinks when I loved there. The trendy versions you can get in the US are just not the same. Time to find a supermarket that sells taro root so I can make my own 🥹
Because most of the time in the US they’re not handmade with original ingredients like taro root/ube/real matcha. 99% of shops are using premade flavor mixes/boba.
Simple version of bubble:U can use regular sugar! and when bubble is cooked well at 4:33 , used 1:2 - hot water:suger to make syrup and put bubble in , wait 10 min, you got decious and sweat bubble
Did you watch him knead that stiff dough? Probably does that multiple times a day. Working out also supports being able to do these things more efficiently.
Can anyone tell me what are they using for the cream on top, for this 5:43 ? I'm not familiar with cooking and baking. I searched "stabilizer for heavy cream" and it said gellatin but is it really ?
Are boba pearls the same as the little tapioca beads in tapioca pudding? I know there's different flavors for them but just wondering if it's basically the same thing?
I don't like boba, i think it's overhype but one time i tried Xing Fu Tang, and dang, that is something else, i never drink boba again unless it's Xing Fu Tang.
Instead of a how to video, I felt like I’m watching those awesome oldies legendary martial art movies. He definitely looks the part. Just look at those bobas.
Yes. Boba, if you have to let it sit somewhere, should sit in a new water and whatever predominant sugar you're using for the base of the boba. Food safety won't let you keep it past like 5 hours? Plus the boba will lose it's texture
We got lots of outstanding drink shop like Xing Fu Tang in Taiwan, so it’s not special for us. I would recommend you guys to visit Taiwan to experience our drinks and foods (and our terrible traffic)
This guy has the perfect voice for documentaries!
I always wanted to know how boba is made so this is amazing. And I love his soothing voice. I could listen to him for hours 😅
He has such a soothing voice
as if listening to an ASMR channel.
Thought we were going to read a romance novel with these vibes…😂
Man’s got a great voice!
This deserves more views because this episode is iconic!!

As a Filipino, I very much appreciate the knowledge he has of ube and sago, and his acknowledgment of its origins. Thank you, sir. I’m sure that ube drink is delicious!
uy, kababayan!
Never knew boba is so delicately made. This guy's voice and the way he makes it is a form of ASMR.
Oh wow. This was a really interesting video, I've never seen boba being made or cooked. Mr. Chuang is also very easy on the eyes lol.
So is his voice 🥴

I'm lucky to live near a Xing Fu in Alhambra, CA. I bring guests their to knock their socks off. If you visit, make sure to try Xing Fu!
Thanks for that info, was thinking this chain was only in Taiwan. I'll look for other LA locations.

Nice, was looking for something to do this weekend!
Its such a chad thing to hold a hot measuring cup by the sides when it has a handle
I remember working here like 3 years ago as a high school student and I fr felt like an artist making the drinks.
I love Taiwanese Food & Drinks 🇹🇼
This guy should open a boba dough dojo. “Baby Joe’s Boba Dough Dojo Co.” is a name that could go a long way.
His voice guys … I just can’t

I'm not familiar with cooking and baking. I searched "stabilizer for heavy cream" and it said gellatin but is it really ?
What was that you add into the milk in the blender the powder white as you blend
Are boba pearls the same as the little tapioca beads in tapioca pudding? I know there's different flavors for them but just wondering if it's basically the same thing?

Hello Mr. What is that dry powder added to milk on the time of 5:39-5:45 for thickness and stabilizer?
I didn’t know boba gave you guns 💪
I don't like boba, i think it's overhype but one time i tried Xing Fu Tang, and dang, that is something else, i never drink boba again unless it's Xing Fu Tang.

I want to be the CEO of tea.
as a taiwanese, I can sadly confirm that this bubble milk tea is more local rathar than traditional.
I've never heard of (red) rice yeast before!
As much as I love Milk teas my OC self can't help but wonder why he did not wear a hair net while making this. 😁
Worth it
Oh my
Do anyone know what is the powder that he mix in whole milk @5:30 ?
Daddy? Oh sorry.
Weird.
😂😅
No fr 😂😂
😂😂😂😂 fr
representing many of our thoughts 😂😂😂
Where do you get milk foam powder
Hey sorry for a ridiculous question but do you toss the boba water after you've cooked the boba?
Yes. Boba, if you have to let it sit somewhere, should sit in a new water and whatever predominant sugar you're using for the base of the boba. Food safety won't let you keep it past like 5 hours? Plus the boba will lose it's texture
Well now i have to have xing fu tang tmw 😅

What about protein boba?
This guy looks like he was drawn in csp
I'm now pregnant and his voice is the father.

I have a Boba trauma, it choked me when I first tried it, I thought it liquifies with the drink 😭😭
Does anybody know what model of stand mixer that is? Thanks!
