- LNER A4 pacific number 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley" made the move to Grosmont on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for their 50th Annual Steam Gala.
The A4 looked beautiful in glorious sunlight and we managed to grab several locations to the south and the north of York.
Our friend, Tom Evans, added some interesting footage of the arrival at Grosmont.
All in all, a good day's work.

Hi. We've aged!! Please remind me who "tedp57" is - Andy
That’s one mighty fine engine! My Dad, who worked for the Western Pacific during WWII, named me after his college buddy…Tom Evans🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
Lovely to have the Gresley back in the NE for a while.
Having an A4 on tap is like The Beatles are in town!
Haha - a great analogy and one I agree with entirely. I shall be up on the NYMR recording some footage soon - Andy
Back to Yorkshire goes sir Nigel for the first time in Br blue livery

There’s another A4 coming back as well and that is 60019 bittern they’ve took the engine to Yorkshire to begin overhaul on the engine
Fantastic to hear that and would be cracking double header for a future tour that and sir nigel
I think it'll be a few years before we see Bittern working again - maybe 5 or 6 years - Andy
