Have a look on flea bay for some grips called Grip Puppies. They go over the existing grips including heated grips if fitted and work very well for people with big hands. They make the grips much thicker and more comfortable. I've been using them for a few years now. Around £13 squid a pair.

Is your visor on your helmet dark or mirrored, as mirrored and more than 50% dark is illegal in the UK but I wondered if you've ever been pulled over for it, as I want to get a dark/mirrored visor but don't want to get pulled over for it
+XoLEGENDZoX I've used both a silver mirrored and dark visor and I can honestly say, the police don't give a shit. I've filtered past them wearing one, they've overtaken me and even looked straight at me whilst giving way. That said I always carry a clear, no matter what the weather or time of day. That's just a personal preference I suppose. The only way I could see the police noting it if when you've been pulled for acting the fool, so check those mirrors beforehand ;)

Just watched the vid with it on the dyno and noticed you had the Akra can installed. Which in your opinion sounds best? And which is loudest. I have the akra and to be honest im very disappointed in it. Low volume and high cost.
+BaronVonGrumble The thing is you're fucking up the engine management as it is aligned after 1000ths of hours benchmarking with the stock exhaust. Just look up "how it's made 1290R"... they really put some serious thinking in that exhaust, clutch and engine management which makes it just not that easy to change it.

I think an Austin Racing GP1 exhaust is in order for this bike, really make it sound like the prototype 1290.
