Can't we just agree that we don't live in a perfect world where most supercars and hypercars aren't being driven as much as normal cars and just leave it at that? Be happy about this car being driven in this video instead of crying about a hypothetical scenario where it isn't.
that is the problem, happened with both ford GT's recently. People buy them to drive then the value starts going up.,and now its an investment you cant afford to drive. most cars are an expence they cost you money when the rare car becomes worth more then you paid it is an investment. Then poor people like me never get to see them except rare car shows.
kind of weird, if all supercar ownders enjoyed their cars, this example wouldn't be here in the video because heavy-accelerator-foot people have a tendency to at worst crash and at worst wear out the cars on track days. 80s tech wasn't great on longevity.

I knew a guy who had a white LP5000 Quattrovalvole back in 87, I was able to see the car regularly and it was an incredible site every single time, back at that time it was so rare and shared the road with Ford Escorts, Vauxhall Cavaliers etc so it looked like a spaceship on the road. Such a beautiful car. I've always loved the Countach, and I think Lamborghini hit the nail on the head with the '89 25th anniversary car. One of my top 10 '80s cars.
I lived only a few blocks away from the guy who brought the first brand new Countach to North America. What a sight. So different than anything else on the road. Of course it had no wings at all. Just pure wedge.
Seen Through Glass funny you mention the visibility to the rear being poor the one I saw changed lanes and he can only have given the guy behind him a fright he was so close 😬
I haven´t driven a 25th anniversary but I have driven a 5000 Quattrovalve. And it is a bit horrible but still magical to drive. But I've always loved these. The first supercar I remember seeing was a white Contact LP500S. I was about 6 or 7 years old and we were heading in to the city centre where I grew up and that came up beside us. So we followed it and luckily it was going to the same parking facility as we were. And this was in 1988-89 when they were almost brand new. Nice video as usual. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for this Sam. Had one of these on my wall as a boy and as a man child I have one on my tool box. I've seen a few on the move and I get the impression the more you put in the more you get out. It really is the mad bull from Italy 🇬🇧
I once owned this Diablo in 1998 to 2001, that time it’s a wonderful buffalo. The problem with it, when i need to change the clutch plate frequently and that the gear lever components breaks easily. Decided to let go, as I had in my fleet a Ferrari F360, a Testarossa, two F355 convertible, a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and Porche 911 Turbo and last later owned the Murchilago. Appreciate that you review this beast, it reminds me of those days i owned this buffalo. Really really marvellous. Thanks bro..🤓💪💕
Great to see some classics on your channel. Loved the editing on the intro. Hope you got to drive that Diablo next, that was my poster car as a kid. Oh and a million yes' to the icon series!
The amazing Countach, has to be my all time No.1 dream car , I was obsessed, I remember seeing one for the very first time, a 5000S, up close, parked on the side of the road (not broken down!!) In France in the mid 80's, that was 35 years ago and I still have the photo somewhere ! As soon as we spotted it my dad pulled the car over straight away , i jumped out and spent a good half hour just walking around and around it in awe! Amazing car , looks , sound , road prescence, etc etc etc, there will never be another like it. It looks like , even as a Ferrari man , you were suitably impressed and loved that amazing experience. Mr Wallace must have surely felt just a little bit envious and jealous seeing you in front driving that ?! Brilliant job Sam, but how are you going to top that ? Cheers squire , all the best , Pete
The Countach was definitely my poster car as a teen. It's still one of my all time favorites now too. Amazing timing! Dropped my C63 off at the Bodycentre Norwich this morning for some cosmetic tweaks, and there was a red Countach outside. Awesome to hear that V12 in action 👍👏

Nice to see a Viola Metallic Diablo on the left hand side, a VERY rare sight. The car famously featured in the 'Cosmic Girl' music video if anyone remembers that.
