I know SEGA's Jet Set Radio entries never really had much of a story-things just sort of happened, and it felt more like an afterthought-but I appreciate Team Reptile going a little further with creating cinematics with some attempt at depth that's pretty entertaining, which compliments the fun gameplay. It has very predictable twists, but it's something, nonetheless, which makes me like Bomb Rush Cyberpunk a little more.
1:01:19 The choice to have the song "You Can Say Hi" playing in this cut-scene was one of my favorite parts in this because I feel it matches the vibe so well and I really felt the concerns of both Rietveld and Berlage for their city.
Team Reptile did a stellar job picking the tracks for the game in general. They set aside the pirate radio aesthetic in exchange for tracks that can convey different feelings in the cutscenes.
That has got to be the best bait and switch I’ve seen for the beginning of a story. Now that I understand who Faux is the beginning makes a shit ton more sense, but god damn I was not expecting that to happen.
thanks for uploading! when I was playing the game crashed at several points so I missed plot important cutscenes, If I didn't have this I don't know what I would do.
1:04:19 this is my favorite scene We thought that all the memories belong to faux. And my theory before this scene was faux accidentally killed felix(that we know is him without the mask thanks for the clothes and color pallet) and he feel guilty so he give up to the cops and his head is still on the prison. But thanks to the line they belong to someone else this changes almost everything. the only person that we saw on the memories alongside Faux: THE ALL CITY KING FELIX. And plus thanks of the headshot by escher we found out the cyberhead is not a cyberhead but yes an organic head of Felix. So we the player (the one is watching this story) found out that Red is Felix.
Ngl the story and the lore is actually have a big potential to be a mysterious deep story but the ending for me is actually very underwhelming for me it's just they could put some like supernatural phenomenon but alas i still enjoy the game even though miss opportunity for the ending.
It was like that for others. I was looking forward to see Faux' fate again. But it would've been cool to have him as a non-canon unlockable character to play as
@@MK-vi2cm fho sho tho i dunno how to make a story but the story in this it's actually great but the ending for me is just to soon it's just the you fight the final boss right after you fight against the dj cyber crew, it's like there is no build up he just suddenly appeared. Overall even though not what i expected to be but i still really like it. Im just giving my opinions on it
Yeah the story kind of got bad after Pyramid Island. A lot of things made no sense and I was kind of hoping it would be one of those stories where nobody was really a villain (except the cops minus Reitvald of course). Like if it would be a series of mishaps or something I think that would've been a lot more interesting (ie Faux accidentally killed Felix, Solace thought Faux killed Felix because he's Solace, DJ Cyber thinking Faux killed him after Solace tells him which drives him mad and he keeps Felix's head until The Franks somehow get it and hide it in a robot head, etc etc). Like the story was so close to being good but they had to make a main villain when to be honest there wasn't any need to. I also think Faux being related to the police makes no sense because if thats the case, he killed his dad seemingly for no reason (unless his dad isn't the police chief). It could've been handled way better imo.
The story ending was great. I appreciated that Felix learned that he didn't have to make it to the top alone and it was a lot more enjoyable having a crew.
beat the game yesterday and still can't believe that the masochistic claustrophobia was actually an important plot point lmfao
I beat the game a few days ago and Im shocked that theres almost 2 hours of cutscenes in this game ???? woah
‘Ace Attorney’ levels of characters having minor yet important features
How many hours did you put in to complete it?
SAME??????
played it too but im to slow i guess whats important about (masochistic claustrophobia) :?
Tryce was a real bro through and through
“Error: Cannot find AI main component”
Foreshadowing right there
All the details are there throughout the entire game, but only a second playthrough will unlock the clues. That’s the kinda storytelling I love
Watching DJ Cyber decapitate Faux really hits different when you play through story mode a second time.
Fr
It does lol. Now we know that he did it for the greater good
Thats the interesting thing, first time, you think Cyber was the bad guy in the end, its different
BRO I JUST STARTING WATCHING WTF
a twist hero, dig it ❤
I love 37:04 when Red gets shot and he doesn't even seem to notice until the others tell him to get down
Yeah, It's like:
What the hell?🤨
To a:
Omg! Sniper!!
LMFAOOOOOOO
That's why Escher had to get in close range the next time.
After playing the game I realized. Faux's name sounds like Foe, which I thought was really cool since he turns out to be the antagonist
i think his name literally means fraud or sumn-- which is pretty telling imo
wow yeah sure enough the definition of faux is "not genuine, fake or false".
Isnt faux,fake/false in french?
This is a great game, buy it if you can, not just watch the story.

IM buying this for sure, we gotta support these Diamond quality projects

ngl I can imagine a BRC sequel that revolves around a Faux redemption arc
Yo, a Faux's DLC with new story and new boroughs would be sick
That would be pretty interesting to see, his design is too good to be thrown away
1:20:16 is my favorite moment of the entire game ngl
I was waiting for this, now I can make an edit fr 😭
1:04:19 this is my favorite scene

I think a Story DLC would be great thing for this game.
Because i wanna know what happen to Faux after the final battle.
Isn't he dead for real?
@str8apem88 idk because I don't know what happened in the end of the game after his defeat with the BRC Crew.
thanks for uploading, wanted to watch everything again after finishing the game. had waaay to much fun playing through this
1:32:48 graffiti being hella boring if it was legal being said with extreme gravitas is very funny to me
Yayy!!🎉 That’s what i looking for! Thanks so much!❤
28:15 watch yo back, yo.

Replaying the story again just makes every character hit different now.

Couldn't afford the game and a PC so I'm just gonna watch the cutscenes.

Couldn't help but feel One Piece storytelling vibes. 😲
58:33 - Ahhh
1:16:24 - AHHHHH
what's the song that plays in 1:01:15?
you can say hi :-)
does anyone know the name of the song play plays at 1:22:09 when faux comes in??????
Idk if you mean Condensed Milk by Cyber Milk Chan or Funk Express by PROUX but here's hoping this helps 👍
The games story is wack and directionless, None of it makes any sense. Going "all city" was a gigantic nothing burger.
okay
Me when I have no media literacy
Without mods theres like 10 - 15 hours of content. Calling the story and dialogue mid is generous. Stay mad about it.
Bro doesn't know story context clues
@@rockheartqueen Please explain them.
