Wow, amazing little tank. I just recently purchased a Crosstrek Wilderness. I've owned two Foresters in the past and loved them. These Subarus are so capable and pretty much can go anywhere.
I expect a little better quality for a video on the official Subaru RUclips channel, but the Crosstrek Wilderness is a beast! It has the same powertrain as my 2024 Forester Wilderness. Compared to my 2019 Forester, the Wilderness model has improved CVT gearing and differential gearing, resulting in a 26% better crawl ratio!
LOL! When we filmed the video, we didn't expect it to be on Subaru's channel. We were just out having fun as part of a Food Bank volunteer event (we raised over half a ton of food to feed the hungry). But yeah, it was sooo impressive out on the trails. Join us on one of our future adventures!
Put a Torq rear locker in my SJ FXT. Lifted 2" with full skidplates. Only thing that stops it is the cvt torque shutdown with 0 momentum. The better gearing in these wilderness models makes a big difference. Put a locker in one and I bet all the times it hung on a climb it would just go easily.
Many users hope that the Subaru WRX STI model will be released in City Racer, an online racing game that has been in service in Korea for 20 years. There are a lot of fans of the Subaru WRX STI model at City Racer.
The Outback is fricken LONG this is probably the best option for a wilderness for true wilderness things. The foz is second place bc it is a bigger car but the given they all share the same wheel size and lift, the length of the outback makes it not it as capable , versus the other two…. I guess you can say the Wilderness outback is really just….limited??😂
The Outback Wilderness handled the hill as well - but the breakover and approach angles on the Crosstrek Wilderness definitely make it easier for the CTW. Here's the Outback Wilderness and Ascent... ruclips.net/video/3qr9U_-oNX4/видео.html The Crosstrek Wilderness definitely had the easiest time doing it.
@@pingpongballz5998 doesn’t mean all crosstrek cvts are equally bad. Lots of factors that need to be provided. Driving to style, services, knowing the limitation’s. I know several that have Subaru’s one being a 16 Crosstrek….. little over 150,000 miles, no problems. Sorry to hear about yours but people I know that are driving them, they are the most reliable
@@pingpongballz5998 you must be hearing something different than I do then. I’ve been hearing other problems from other brands, but every brand has their issue. Sorry haven’t heard that news from Subaru though. I’d still put my money on Subaru. Looks like you’ll just move onto a different brand.
It climbs a hill better than the Cybertruck! great job Subaru
Yep! It's really impressive!
😊

It was so fun watching and filming it tackle the various terrain! There's so much more it did that day that we didn't put in the vid!
The little goat in the hill capable of doing all type of crazy things, that's awesome 👌🏽👏🏽👍🏽💯
It was sooo amazing to see this little Subie tackling everything!!!
Mountain goat! That was great to see. Looking forward to other challenges for that awesome Subbie 🏆💯
Great video..Just starting to get my OBW out in the pine sand trails.. Where was this spot?
Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management Area.

The cinematography has a rustic feel that is appropriate for the setting and Subaru brand.
@@SharpBalisong wow, thanks! It was exactly that outdoorsy rustic adventure feel we were trying to capture!
Haha. You're welcome. @@SubaruAmbassadorRobert

This is. Family friendly channel, but I bet there was a lot of OH SHITs being sent that day
LOL!!! It was a very adventurous day! Join us over in MtnRoo Tri-State to join us in the adventures!
👍 Very Nice 👍
Thanks!!!
Awesome!!
Thanks!!!
Subaru should put the 2.4 turbo on that thing and it’s gonna be more awesome!
LOL, a turbo definitely does make everything better, and I am definitely a fan of the FA24F!!! 🤣 Loving it in my Ascent!

That is impressive. I always love how Subaru embarrassed jeep owners at their own games
It was amazing to see!!!
❤❤🎉
Glad you liked it!!!
I have a 2015 STI and eventually I’m thinking about trading in for one.
It may not be as fast, but it's fun in its own sort of way. I have an Ascent, and if I were to get a second car, the CTW would probably be it.
Does anyone know where in Jersey this sand pit is located?
In the Pine Barrens mid Jersey on a public access trail road.
@@SubaruAmbassadorRobert Thank you.
Do you have the name of the streets/roads leading to the entrance of this public access trail?
it beats the subaru outback wilderness uphill.

Eh still a CVT.
Yup……and still a better cvt then other brands like Honda Toyota nissian etc
@@martinr8278 really because I had problems with my 2016 Crosstrek

@martinr8278 it ain't just me. Sure some people got lucky. But I was on 2 crosstrek FB groups. A lot of them reporting problems.
