@@sleepycat2000 its a game about seaman, a play of words on sea monkeys. In this game you grow and interact with them until they fully develop or die. Its basically tamagochi for adults, released in 1999. Hence the weird shit.
anyone who says games weren't better back in the day is a damn liar somebody plz bring back the days when it was the game DEVELOPERS developing GAMES and not the publishers pimping them for money, oh how I long for a day where the devs are back on top where they belong and we get great games for new engines, oh man how I want a good game on UE5
You do realize that you can go enjoy indie games, right? those exist and there are many amazing games out there on the market. Yes, there are problems with the video game industry today, but so were there back then too. This whole "games were better back then" is really just confirmation bias and nostalgia.

And pointing out that there are infact plenty of good games to play today. If you said that, say, major studios were making worse games today, than in the past, you might have some real argument. Instead, you insist on eating form the fecal matter pipe, then get mad when everything tastes like crap, and even insisting that all food tastes like it.
Games stopped having souls once companies realized theres money to be made with them. Now risk mitigation and profits are #1 priority, not making a unique experience
