the ironic thing about the Santa Karen is that, i suspect she got exactly what she wanted and was relatively HAPPY. She wanted to get in and out, and have the photos, and was willing to just pay up. I bet the malicious compliance went right over her head. Bet she thought "well I showed them". She didn't care about the kids having a good time or anything, I was a chore to be finished and marked off the list.
Working hours story: I can see both points of view here. The employees knew what the hours were supposed to be, just didn't follow them closely. And if the office was required to be open until 4pm, somebody needs to be there until then. The new boss wanted some specific order. but he definitely went about it the wrong way. And the employees were taking their tea/coffee breaks, just not at the scheduled times. Anne vs the fence story: Sounds like Razzy wasn't very well trained. That's on Anne. Also, Anne demanded OP either pay for the property the fence encroached over or remove the fence. NOTHING was said about replacing the fence. If Anne wanted a new fence, she was free to buy one and pay to have it built in the "proper" location. She just thought she could bully someone from "the sticks" with legal threats. Maybe a handshake deal is a good idea after all. Maybe she should learn not to threaten people and openly discuss things instead. Pictures with Santa story: You get what your rudeness pays for. HOA trash story: Really? What do they do around Christmas and other holidays when a lot more trash than normal is generated? Rehab story: Some bosses just aren't very smart.
I had a neighbor once who changed out her nice interior doors for cheapies, had them painted to look much nicer, then cut bottom corners out of each one for the cats ;-))
It takes me months to fill a 30 gallon trashcan. It usually takes over a week to fill a typical plastic bag from shopping.I haven't made a trash run in a year. Just one recycling run.
That second story; that guy thought this place was being strict about hours? As described that's one of the most lenient places I've heard of. Then the guy acted like a child ( oh well I was told I had to come early if I leave early and I plan to leave at lunch so I came before we even open, hur hur hur. Most places you need to notify management at least 24 hours ahead of time that you need to leave early and generally they don't HAVE to let you go )...sounds like the company was better off without him, though I have to wonder what happened when the guy tried to find other work. Doubt he was able to find a place that would let him come and go as he pleased and not work the 40 hours he's getting paid for. And here I thought the children I work with that complain about not being able to take multiple 20 minute bathroom breaks ( where they're really just playing on their phones! ) was bad.
The photo/Santa,it's never too early to teach kids what happens if their Mom is a Karen. Last one - couldn't agree more, I worked at a warehouse, could've came most days and done computer work, ( I was one of a handful that new the system ) but no, people complained I was on the computer, I was told I had to stack the trucks or take time off, I had ripped the cartilage in my right knee which was misdiagnosed for 4 months by the company Doctor, ended up getting surgery, bottom line was - I was on computer duty for two weeks and then on workers comp for 8.5 months, it didn't really effect me pay wise but the people who complained all of a sudden had to help stack trucks and we were a person to 3 people down during the time I was out, this meant they were in a truck by themselves and floaters ( people who would go to the heaviest workload and help stack ) were short handed. But they got their wish and I got a good recovery which was much needed after the misdiagnosed knee injury.
The main issue is that if she doesn't bring up the 9 inches of property and request the fence be moved, the other person will eventually flatout own that land no matter what the property lines say. Adverse possession is what it is called.
That's not in every state. And the time ranges are different from one state to another as well. She wasn't wrong for bringing it up but her approach was a bit sketch.
Here’s a link for our soap site that I spoke about in the video! www.unclejonssoap.com/store/c1/Clearance%21.html

He was using 9" of her property, she got a free fence, seems fair trade to me.
Anne didn't think things through thoroughly. Oops! Sounds like an Anne problem.

11:10 no - i did not hear any cat
That fence was 9" on her property... Ok, but where ? Was it 9" all the way ? Or 9" in near the front of the property, but 9 to 12" OUT near the back ?

the pets dont understand you talking to your computer they see it as you talking to yourself so they take turns keeping an eye on you

There's a reason so many people call it manglement.

@@Uncle_Jon Easiest thing to do without rocking the boat would have been to get an easement written for the life of the fence.
Hi Unca Jon. Had you considered adding a cat door to the bedroom door? It might save a little frustration.
Thought about it. But, it's a custom door and I'm not ready to cut into it just yet🤣
