Bray Wyatt’s character has never recovered from Luke Harper (Brodie Lee) departure from the company. The Wyatt Family was his best gimmick by far and Luke made him look so much better. Rowan too! Since he had to go solo, it just hasn’t quite measured up

2 takeaways from this interview. Both Seth and Cody have clearly hurt Billy; deep cuts or somethin… cause he goes out of his way to discredit them. The other thing is OF COURSE Cody has more merchandise on the site than Sami does. They’re paying Cody upwards of 3 million a year, plus they gave him a bus, and other perks/guarantees. So if no other reason than WWE wants to get their return on investment. But also, Cody is much more marketable than Sami. He’s got a brand, with a name, logo, and theme song, and he owns the rights to everything himself. Can’t get a better all-inclusive package if you’re WWE.
What i don't get is why wasn't Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley being saved for WrestleMania? There was so demand for Wyatt vs Lashley or Brock vs Omos. There has to be way, way more to this story.
Wyatt complained as usual that he Wasn't on the WrestleMania card . So he asked for a match with Lesnar . Lesnar said NO. So Lashley being the nice guy that he is agreed to help Wyatt out with a WrestleMania match. But the problem is that Dumbass Wyatt ABANDONED Bobby in the middle of the feud and left him with NOTHING to do for WrestleMania 39 🤦♂️ Bray Wyatt is Terrible as a writer, wrestler and apparently an employee also. Because he does the bare minimum and complains about not getting high profile feuds.
I heard they brought Lesnar- Lashley III forward to Elimination Chamber from WrestleMania because they wanted to free up WrestleMania for Lesnar-Stone Cold even tho Stone Cold apparently turned down the Lesnar match as far back as last summer,the timeline seems off so take that with a grain of salt.

This is more of an aside from this story, but Bill mentioning the production guys trying to bet Bray/Bobby as soon as the lines came out is exactly why you CANNOT legalize betting for WWE.
No need to sue for breach when you are able to let someone go with a 90 days notice like the company can. Pretty easy for the company to pivot in a situation like this if what’s said is indeed true. The cost to sue him for breach of his deal would be so time consuming to go through and would cost a lot more in legal fees to go through than it would be to just cut your losses and pay out the 90 days to move on. This would change if it was a situation where he had a no cut clause in his deal and was guaranteed to earn whatever amount of money it happens to be for the remaining years on the deal he signed. But that isn’t likely to be the case as the company has consisntently refused doing any no cut deals for anybody - even people like HHH had provisions where they could be released in their talent contracts so can’t see Bray having a no cut himself especially if you had problems before. So I’m the end if he’s no shower stuff and the like just cut him loose and move on with things and take the losses.

Warrior was a clear character from wich you understood why he would be in a ring fighting people and winning belts, he even adapted the character to different eras (the short span of the 96 run is a good example), and he could tell a story because the man behind knew what people wanted to see the most from him and used that as a baseline for his way of telling stories. Wyatt should be a manager, the big catch with him is not his matches, because he's horrible and can't tell a proper story in the ring, but I'm sure he could hype a guy with a good guideline of what he should say to make us feel his client is the Antichrist personified.

I haven't been interested to this level since 2001/2. It's all because I saw The Undertaker in the ring with "some goofy new jobber guy". Turns out that goofy jobber guy would join Bill Eadie, Mike Rotunda, Harley Race, and The Undertaker in my list of all time favorites - LA Knight. Thanks Bray!

Bray Wyatt's return was incredible, some of the best WWE tv in years & years... but then it was nearly 2 months before the LA Knight storyline began and then it was another 2 months before the match happened and then when it did happen, it was not good. So that was nearly FIVE MONTHS of WWE TV time being given to an absolute dud. If Wyatt's angles moved faster, people would be way into it.

All generations have mental health issues. This is why so many pro wrestling stars of the 80's and 90's died via suicide, overdose or drug related illness. I grew up in that generation and many of those who grew up in that gen w/ me died via suicide or overdose. I understand that Konnan is old school and that he didn't mean any harm whatsoever. I'm old school myself middle aged. Our generations were taught that you had to be tough and moreso manly and we're products of that environment. We were taught to be tough to our detriment to an extent. Those who were afraid to ask for help didn't make it. It's a very good thing that this new generation is aware of mental health and the issues it can cause. Life is a gift and life is very short but moreso it's precious. Every life. Don't ever be afraid or ashamed to ask for help.

if this planned storyline is true (and it's Billi saying it so you know it's possibly made up) then I don't think Brock Lesnar is the right guy for it. If I was picking someone for this spot, it's Karrion Kross. Have Kross beat Wyatt down, then Wyatt takes time off to "recover", Kross gets pushed while Wyatt is gone and then the NEW Wyatt returns for a big rematch with Kross at Summerslam or something. Lesnar doesn't need this, Kross does.
Honestly if I played a character like the fiend I would probably feel mental too. That character was too op beyond belief, after being burnt to a crisp and returning from the dead, him getting beat by a wrestling move no longer became believable.

What i don't get is why wasn't Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley being saved for WrestleMania? There was so demand for Wyatt vs Lashley or Brock vs Omos. There has to be way, way more to this story.
Wyatt complained as usual that he Wasn't on the WrestleMania card . So he asked for a match with Lesnar . Lesnar said NO. So Lashley being the nice guy that he is agreed to help Wyatt out with a WrestleMania match. But the problem is that Dumbass Wyatt ABANDONED Bobby in the middle of the feud and left him with NOTHING to do for WrestleMania 39 🤦♂️ Bray Wyatt is Terrible as a writer, wrestler and apparently an employee also. Because he does the bare minimum and complains about not getting high profile feuds.
I heard they brought Lesnar- Lashley III forward to Elimination Chamber from WrestleMania because they wanted to free up WrestleMania for Lesnar-Stone Cold even tho Stone Cold apparently turned down the Lesnar match as far back as last summer,the timeline seems off so take that with a grain of salt.

If he's leaving during a working angle for Wrestlemania, I would fire his ass and try to sue him for breach of contract. No joke
No need to sue for breach when you are able to let someone go with a 90 days notice like the company can. Pretty easy for the company to pivot in a situation like this if what’s said is indeed true. The cost to sue him for breach of his deal would be so time consuming to go through and would cost a lot more in legal fees to go through than it would be to just cut your losses and pay out the 90 days to move on. This would change if it was a situation where he had a no cut clause in his deal and was guaranteed to earn whatever amount of money it happens to be for the remaining years on the deal he signed. But that isn’t likely to be the case as the company has consisntently refused doing any no cut deals for anybody - even people like HHH had provisions where they could be released in their talent contracts so can’t see Bray having a no cut himself especially if you had problems before. So I’m the end if he’s no shower stuff and the like just cut him loose and move on with things and take the losses.

@@ihavetubes Bray had characters that went nowhere because he wants to please the influencers who'll do "Top 10 theories on Wyatt's angle", and always using characters that allows him to wrestle just once a month because he probably knows he can't work a match. Warrior was a clear character from wich you understood why he would be in a ring fighting people and winning belts, he even adapted the character to different eras (the short span of the 96 run is a good example), and he could tell a story because the man behind knew what people wanted to see the most from him and used that as a baseline for his way of telling stories.
Wyatt should be a manager, the big catch with him is not his matches, because he's horrible and can't tell a proper story in the ring, but I'm sure he could hype a guy with a good guideline of what he should say to make us feel his client is the Antichrist personified.

I don’t understand why people believe he done cried his way out the company or don’t like creative or have the weird sense of anger and trolling energy of a guy that actually stays in character majority of life since coming into the wwe and making a character that has so much lore and thought into because I bet you my whole paycheck he done got paid a shit ton money to be back and promise allot creative time to tell his story the right way. Bray Wyatt's return was incredible, some of the best WWE tv in years & years... but then it was nearly 2 months before the LA Knight storyline began and then it was another 2 months before the match happened and then when it did happen, it was not good.
So that was nearly FIVE MONTHS of WWE TV time being given to an absolute dud. If Wyatt's angles moved faster, people would be way into it.

Made an early 7 AM meeting with vince and said hey let us have summerslam. Vince said okay. But you gotta put Henry over next month. Randy said done. So they Tore house down at summerslam.

All generations have mental health issues. This is why so many pro wrestling stars of the 80's and 90's died via suicide, overdose or drug related illness. I grew up in that generation and many of those who grew up in that gen w/ me died via suicide or overdose.
I understand that Konnan is old school and that he didn't mean any harm whatsoever. I'm old school myself middle aged. Our generations were taught that you had to be tough and moreso manly and we're products of that environment. We were taught to be tough to our detriment to an extent. Those who were afraid to ask for help didn't make it.
It's a very good thing that this new generation is aware of mental health and the issues it can cause. Life is a gift and life is very short but moreso it's precious. Every life. Don't ever be afraid or ashamed to ask for help.

I know this clip was recorded last week but on Smackdown on 3-17 in a backstage segment u could see Bray's logo. They wouldn't have shown that if he was really gone. Also today 3-20 Meltzer says Bray is dealing with an illness but his match with Lashley is still expected to happen at WrestleMania. It is Meltzer so take that with a grain of salt. I guess we shall see..
