BUFF BAGWELL'S real life heat with CONRAD THOMPSON discussed ruclips.net/video/-KkRP5DgNps/видео.html

I am not a psychologist but I've known enough orphans in my life to say that Flair has typical orphan behaviors. An inability to maintain relationships. An extremely low self-esteem that is hidden by false confidence. A serious issue with truly connecting on a deeper level with people. High risk behaviors. A need for constant attention. Why do you think he was so close with Piper? They both had the same stuff going on underneath the surface. Again, I'm not a psychologist but this appears to be the case.
Yea but he had a loving adopted mom and dad. The dad being a dr so they didn't grow up poor like roddy. Flair just never grew up and still acts like a teenager who wants to be the center of attention
You hit the nail on the head. A lot comes from our childhood.
@@suzanneflowers2230, it's so, so true. We all have mommy and daddy issues to some degree.
@@bigdaddyroy5382 abandonment is abandonment, speaking from experience. Even the most loving parents will never fill that hole.
@@cowpiekiller wasn't flair adopted at birth? If so, then his childhood was just fine until they told him. He just has never grown up
Conrad Thompson will likely stop Flair's match, right in the middle of a heat spot, to read out a plug for his financial company

Yea, the constant commercials on his shows are ridiculous.
What about his boner pills? Is he still pushing that?
@@johndrake3472 yea. It's gotten to the point I just turn it off when the ads start. They can see those metrics and hopefully enough people are doing it.
LOL! Tremendous comment
God sometimes Disco has like 10 different things he talks about to make 1 point
i'm not even 5 minutes into this video and im' about to close it out because he's annoying me so much
Konnan is the reason to listen, not Disco.
im like "what the fuck is disco talking about?!" all that jibberish boiled down to was that Flair was cool when i meet him, we both liked hockey lol
Nobody listens to disco or his viewpoints, it's really konnan that people are listening to or when someone is cussing out disco.
Omg!!! Yes I was 2 mins into this video and I was getting annoyed with disco he shouldn’t be on this podcast …his voice is annoying and his points are too.
Flair I'm sure is full of trauma. His son died cosplaying his lifestyle. Almost died in a plane crash. I wonder if he's gotten help outside of nulling the pain with liquor every night
Cosplaying is such a poor use of a word
@@forgottenmma3694 not really. He was mimicking his dad and partying with him. We all emulate our parents. This was the wrong thing to follow at his young age. Built extremely poor habits and when people warned Flair he ignored. He even thought it wasn't serious and that he just wanted to be like him. Quit letting people off the hook. This tragedy could've been avoided.
@@youngzeus87 not to mention he was there when he died

Ric Flair has had multiple mid-life crisis'. This will not be his final match either.
I like Flair, but people called him old in the mid 90s.
The WWE run in the 2000s was fun.
His TNA run was sad.
A return in his 70s (After a long coma & getting a pace-maker) is insane.

He literally interrupts himself while talking

Did disco really give a 5 minute answer that was basically “I don’t know”?
He's brutal.

i didnt know or understand anything he said
Well I’m 42 and I have no friends and when I look at my issues , sometimes if your a young jerk you take the people around you for granted, and then as you get older it’s harder to make friends, and yea you can’t blame anybody except the person in the mirror, Woo!

Really enjoying all these extra long vids. It's truly appreciated.
I hate the 1 minute videos its a complete waste and I like the longer videos also but all i ever hear is Disco talking he has an answer for everything.
The problem with Hogan and Flair is that they both lived their gimmick for so long they have no clue how to escape it. If Arnold Schwarzenegger played The Terminator for 30-40 year straight, everyday, he'd be walking around right now thinking he's still Terminator. Flair is in his 70s and he's in rap videos looking so out of place. Now he's about to wrestle his "last" Match. Oh boy.
That video was awesome
Ric Flair Drip is one of the best songs of the past few years lol
Flair's is literally the real life Randy "the Ram" Robinson from The Wrestler movie.
No he’s not
I can see Flair in The Wrestler 2 😂
The Ram was just a mid carder doing indy shows. Flair was the Greatest Wrestler of All Time.
@@johnnyskinwalker4095 The Ram was a huge star in that movie that had wasted his money and decades later was working on the indes
Thought that was Hulk's life without the family TV show.
C'mon man David Flair tried. You can't tell me his act with Crowbar and Daphne was the worst thing WCW put out.
Valid point
The Yetay has them beat
That wasn’t even the worst part of late WCW, hella half their segments were pretty entertaining tbh. Granted the bar was hella low already but their group would have gotten over in WWF.
Hell yea it was the worst thing
It's safe to say anything WCW was putting out in 2000 up to the point they were bought by WWE in 2001 was bad that 70's guy mike awesome was probably the one that stuck out to me.
Why did Disco jump in and say he could answer the Ric Flair question only to say after 20 minutes of rambling, "I can't speak on why Ric Flair is the way he is because I was never elevated like he was".
As has been discussed from time to time, Ric Flair was a Georgia Tann baby. He does not know his true history, or where he came from. My best friend experienced a very similar situation, and does not know his history. He has many of the same issues that Flair seems to. Flair seems to constantly seek the approval of others, abuses substances, and has difficulty forming and maintaining relationships. The impact of that upbringing has definitely had an effect on his psyche, much like it has with my friend. Psychologically speaking, the first few years of a person's life truly determine the trajectory that their life will take. That's why I believe that the most important thing in life is acceptance. I accept people the way they are, and do not force them to be the person I think they should be, or to do the things that I would do. I say that because it is impossible for me to see life through their eyes, or to understand the totality of their experiences. Our experiences shape who we are. That is why we are all different. I think it is important not to judge him for his faults, because it is impossible to know how I would react if I shared his experiences.
Amen brother
Disco’s constant interrupting and rambling on is sandpaper on the ears. He’s the master of transforming a sentence into an essay of useless information.
Ric is legendary but anyone who tries to get him or keep from not doing dumb and reckless sh**, he ends up cutting them out put of his life, hence the enablers and sycophants coming in and staying around forever. He doesn't understand some behavior one gets too old for
Psychopaths
The reason why he has these fall outs is because they won't want to enable his behavior at his age. They all tell him to slow down and chill out. He's over 70 years old, and he still wants to act like he's in his 20s.
Imagine feeling like you can tell someone how to live their life… and flairs the narcissist…
Arn Anderson is such a chill guy, if you f-up with him you know you’re the problem.
Bingo!
At least until he pulls out his Glock.
@@mimoe7587 Then he's Armed Anderson!
I heard arn lent him a lot of money and flair not only didnt pay him back, but never even gave him a reason why the money was never returned.
@@citizenbeeswax7985 Wouldn't surprise me but Arn should have known better. I guess you could call Flair a One Arned Bandit then! ANYBODY HAVE A COPY OF FLAIR'S DEBT LIST? You know Conrad isn't looking forward to the day when Flair comes calling for a little cash.
I met Ric Flair at autograph signing as a Birthday gift. He was a pretty cool dude.
rumor is the reason for the heat between arn and ric is that ric borrowed 25 grand from arn and never paid him back
Because anyone who wants to move on and get serious in life has to leave people like Ric behind.
Man Disco could talk for 15 minutes just saying good morning.
Disco: You can’t even begin to contemplate the mindset of a major star. It’s hard for them to see the needs of others.
Konnan: He can be a prick.
considering all of the crap that Triple H has been through lately, I highly doubt that he cares that Ric Flair is annoyed at him.
Exactly. HHH literally almost died and was forced to never wrestle again. All he cares about is his family WWE and his true friends like Shawn Michaels.
@@israymervalentin-arias6313 nah HHH has to care somewhat, that was his idol growing up. I think they got close when Flair came back to WWE after WCW folded. Evolution was mostly likely HHH's he definitely wanted his idol in his group.
Even as a fan you can see Hogan gave a lot to his friends while ric took endlessly.
I think hogan took more from people
@@danzig3764 maybe from the industry not his friends. Hogan got many people good paying jobs throughout his run in various organizations. Ric on the other hand borrows money to this day to stay afloat. Rics last match is more than just him wanting to be in the ring again. Flair has ruined many friendships. I'd say Conrad is his last meal ticket. To be fair without flair though Conrad wouldnt have all these podcast.
@@chrisortiz8072 I agree he did set up people who rode his coattails like the barber. He definitely used his status and politics to help his so-called friends. He screwed a lot of people doing so. You can Monday quarter back this all you want, but they’re both trash humans!!
Hogan seems to have a lot of loyal friends. I'm sure he's burned a few people, and he does like to make stuff up, but overall Ric has a much longer track record of burning bridges.

You know, Conrad loves to talk about how WWE has older guys like AJ Styles still working full time yet he sees zero irony in him booking the oldest wrestler in the world to have a match.
AJ Styles isnt even old
When has Conrad ever spoke negative about older wrestlers still performing? Its actually quite the opposite he is always putting over how well these guys perform in their mid to late 40s. You are part of the social media problem you come here and put lies out just to lie and that's insane to me.
@@pk_3877 for the record Conrad has never called AJ too old to be wrestling.
Conrad is the drizzling shitz
I think conrad may have a few more fans than you or I.
funny how Flair only had respect for Konnan once he knew that Konnan controlled the money. Flair is so fake.
It has nothing to do with that. Ric didn't think much of Mexican wrestlers or Mexican people in general, a racist basically. As Ric has gotten older, he has adapted with the times due to racism not being tolerated. His daughter also seems to have a fetish for Mexican men, being that she not only married Andrade, but she also dated Alberto del Rio. As much of a POS Ric is, he does love his daughter so he basically has no choice but to accept it. It's clear as day to see.
@@wiseguyjones9367 nah.
It's funny listening to the different sound effects used to bleep out swearing.

GOOD NIGHT.....Disco's A.D.D. is too much to bear at times where he interrupts the flow of the conversation with the first random thought that pops into his mind.
He’s absolutely annoying, he just won’t shut the hell up and has no problem talking over someone. He’s one of those people who talks a whole lot but says nothing of substance.
Mark said it best, the problem with ric flair is that he actually thinks he’s ric flair. He can’t let it go and because he’s popular with pop culture u got all these rappers making songs about him and featuring him in videos where he comes out bling blinging and chain swinging it’s like he’s the nature boy a little bit longer. He doesn’t know how to turn it off and be himself, it’s sad when a once great can’t move in and keeps living in the past.
Same for Hogan
Conrad is the very reason why the 30 second skip ahead button exists on apple podcasts app.
Ric never grew up. He’s all about Ric. Having said that I still love him and hope he stays with Wendy. She really cares about him and everyone should grow old with somebody.
Guys, love the podcast and the clips, but the bleep sound you guys use needs to be turned down a decibel or two. It's one of the most grating, annoying bleep sounds I've ever heard
Konnan was born in 1964 and Flair was born in 1949. He’s 15 years older than him… Disco obviously failed Math.
Disco also failed in the Poker Room. His Texas Hold em skills were always lacking!
Flair has said that he fell out with Anderson because he didn't attend the funeral for his son Reid but I have no idea what he's fallen out with Triple H.
Flair actually fell out with ARN because ARN called him out on an unpaid "loan" for one of RIC'S bar tabs.....
And Arn himself left a lot of unpaid bar tabs when he was coming to town.....but Arn Anderson was coming to town
Both Bobby Eaton and his wife Donna (who were very close with Arn) said by the time Reid died Arn and Flair had been on the outs for years and that Arn basically considered that story to be a lie on Flair's part but that he was just to nice/polite to call him out on it in public.
@@Jayce_Alexander Yeah, I always thought there had to be a reason to not show up to his sons funeral.
@@Jayce_Alexander and as far as HHH it's 2 things....
1. RIC'S denial of REIDS TOXICOLOGY REPORT in his WWE tryout and HUNTER telling him "REID NEEDS HELP"....
2. PLANE RIDE allegations, at the time HHH had to distance himself from Ric to avoid the backlash so RIC felt abandoned.....
Ric Flair is a fairly typical narcissist. You’re his best friend when you’re giving to him, whether it be attention or dollars or opportunity. And he’ll give back as long as it’s easy. Once asked to give things that are difficult (self-honesty, sobriety, faithfulness, etc.), he quits the friendship/partnership/marriage.
i have never in my life of 40 years heard someone ramble so much and never get to the point. Horrible people to do a podcast.
Disco takes forever to answer simple questions. Konnan actually gets straight to the point, he’s the only reason why I listen to the podcast
Either quit cussing or quit censoring. The beeps and noises are terrible to listen to.
At first glance, "what's Carmela and FTR got to do with Ric Flair? This should be good" I refocus my eyes, "Oh...'

Sadly Ric Flair doesn't know how to be retired Flair...... He keeps wanting that high not realizing his new role is the high
It's sad
So I just watched the ric flair documentary & I have my mother & sisters in town for Christmas so I convinced them to check it out too. I preface with that because they wanted to know why David Flair and Ric fell out (David was barely in the documentary). Ironically enough this video is one of the only things that comes up when you Google; ‘ric flair David flair falling out.’ I start this video and from 0:00-1:34 disco talks and literally just says words that lead to nothing lol. My sister says out loud; ‘my god, get to the point I can’t take this guy.’ I laughed so hard I stopped breathing. I’ve learned to accept that’s part of disco’s charm (loyal K100 listener) and never thought anything of it but hearing a total outsider who doesn’t know him, hear him and have that reaction made me laugh the hardest I’ve laughed in awhile. Thank you Mr Gilbornetti
The 30 for 30 was sad. Truly. Think about everything he’s lost for the sack of his gimmick 🤦🏻♂️
Ric is just selfish. Look you can’t be the top dog in any industry without being a bit of an AHole. HHH is just as selfish, he probably latched on to Flair to be close with him in the early 2000s to help solidify his own standing in the industry. But when you can fall out with a man with the integrity of Arn Anderson. Naitch got to look in the mirror. Not that he cares. Naitch cares about money, women and the fame. That’s Naitch.
Ric flair isn't a gimmick, he's not going to ever change because the Ric flair we have grown up with is a wild maniac and that's what makes him the GOAT. If people don't wanna be around him I highly doubt he gives a fuck.
Wooooo
Disco was very athletic, he was always the 1 on the top of the cheerleaders pyramid.
😂
His last match should be Sting. It may not be the "best" match, but no match is gonna be good. Yet Sting is the best way for him to go out.
Sting goes oldschool for one night
Why? It’s pretend fighting. What’s it matter who he’s pretending to fight for the last time?

Good to hear and an ex wrestler admit that wrestling isn't a legit athletic sport. It doesn't detract from the entertainment value.

It's really weird with Ric, He's always having issues with everyone. Recently he had Bret on his show acting like he likes him and he's trashed Bret many times in the past and Bret even brought up what he liked and didn't like about Ric straight up and Ric just agreed with everything and played nice and then he'll go and bad mouth him to other people. Ric's great but let's be honest he was never the greatest wrestler he was good at his style and it worked for him. In Macho Mans prime he was a better wrestler so was Scott Hall, Booker T and many others Ric's charisma and intensity is what made him next level.
This is spot on!
It's the truth, And some ppl wanna bad mouth Bret for taking the wrestling business too seriously or praising himself and giving his opinion on other wrestlers but he's actually totally right about what he says and he's just being real.

Eric didn't have to sue Flair for Ric to go broke, nature boy did that on his own.
The best part of the segment was when they brought up my beloved Oakland A's. I can totally relate Conand watching any baseball game randomly you see former A's you can't help but cheer for them. Let's Go Oakland 🐘
These sound effects tho does RUclips demonetize cursing that much dope video by the way

Know what would really put this over the top? Disco should say "like" another 200 times.
Maybe being stolen and sold like a sack of beans as a baby had something to do with it
Who hasn't Ric Flair fall out with? And why this isn't a surprise.
Tony Atlas said its no friendship in pro wrestling and if you have just one your lucky
They should talk to Eric about it so we can hear him weasel out of another thing ..."you know ...people don't understand what its like running a wrestling company...it's very easy to talk about things now....did I say that? Maybe...I don't recall...."
It's like even with Dusty when he was a booker he insisted on writing himself into the program. At sometime you have to step aside or share the limelight . The people that lift you up need to be lifted too
David Flair was definitely not ready for tv when he was in WCW, but I think he could have been good if he had stayed around for a few more years. He was just too green at that point in his career, but I don't think he was as terrible as Disco makes him out to be. I actually enjoyed some of the stuff he did with Crowbar and Daffney. It didn't come to him naturally the way that it did with Charlotte, but I think it could have in time. It's really unfair to compare him or anyone else to Charlotte, because she is one of those talents that comes along once or twice in a generation. She got it from day one, but most people don't.
Konnan for sure understands how Ric Flair feels, because Konnan was and still is The Hulk Hogan of Mexico to this day!

Always wondered 🤔 why Flair landed weird on his back/side when I was a kid - but when I watched the Docu. right after Christmas- it’s because of the plane crash and he broke his back … so yeah that’s why, lol idk why that always sticks out when I think Flair
So Disco rambles on for 4 minutes answering by saying "I don't know!"
Basically
I always thought Konnan deserved a bigger push and Disco you werent bad either, I watched every Mon night and use to wonder why alot of guys were held back and not shown more. You guys were entertaining af, good times
Facts I was waiting for konnan to blow up he was dope match's was definitely fun to watch I still think he's one of my favorites I gotta check his old matches I definitely gotta look them up on RUclips
Yeah Konnan was cool in the ring. And I liked Disco before he teamed with Alex Wright(was that his name?). I always thought the guy was trying to outshine Disco's gimmick.
Disco was good enhancement talent
Simple: he's just a selfish person whose number one priority has always been himself. Not complicated.
Headlines should say “konan tried to talk while disco talks over everyone!”
Sometimes I wonder if he is the way he is now because he felt he always was treated poorly in the past (thinking of something like WCW) and decided he wouldn’t let that happen again and overcorrexted to what he is now. But from what I’ve seen as an outsider he seems like a crappy friend. When he did the pod with Conrad originally he just decided out of nowhere he didn’t want to do it anymore and left him hanging. Then booted Madden off to go back to Conrad. And even now how he was criticizing Jay Lethal for wanting a spot on the card and not being willing to try and get him a spot. I get looking out for yourself first but he just seems like he sucks.
I had to stop listening to this halfway through because Disco Inferno cannot form a comprehensive sentence.

Hey Glenn been a long time since GCW! Remember that I worked for Ric for 5 years in the gym business so I can certainly verify some stuff lol
Big Swoll former WCW Wrestler with No Limit Soldiers stable said he over heard Flair being racist at that time back in the day, thanks for keeping it 100 Konnan
And now Ric's hanging out with rappers because they give him "clout" that's the only reason...
@@nightprowler999 facts
This is incorrigible if true. In late WCW, Ric did take home a pittance for a ME/legend level wrestler. And he wasn't as precious as other top guys about his spot. Took less money, did his job well... it seems like he would have been fairly easy to work with.
My grandfather had a saying......"if everyone you meet in the run of a day is an asshole.... chances are that YOU were the asshole"
