That sauté cook is a special breed. It takes a certain kind of individual to be able to take that workload and never take a wasted step. Nice job chef.
It's not 8 hours. That's only service 3 - 5 hours. And once u know what u are doing, it's pretty easy and fun. Everything looks hard when u don't know how to do it
First time seeing this channel, and I must say. I was the kitchen manager/ran the pass of a bbq restaurant a few years ago and your speed, finesse, and ability to multitask AND keep things clean and flowing in an orderly manner is astonishing. You put passion and love into your work, please keep going. You're going to go far if you do.
Sauté is my favorite station, makes the day go by so much quicker because you’re only focused on what’s on the burner and what’s next on order. Good job Chef.
Boardies with socks & Crocs! Love it! Peak Sandgroper OH&S right there I reckon! Awesome kitchen crew and testament to why E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. has it's place and is in it's place! Those plates are flying out faster than I could frisbee 'em off a rooftop!
Having to cook all those pastas with one basket is crazy! Your timing is impeccable. What is the microwave for? You keep a clean kitchen and your crew looks solid. Everything in its right place.
When I was 19, I applied to a restaurant specifically to be Front of House (server, busser, host), but the manager threw me on cooking duties because they were low on cooks. Honestly, the most brutal job I've ever experienced. 3 months later, a server position finally opened up and I immediately jumped on it. So much easier being a server than a cook. To this day, the sound of tickets coming in still gives me PTSD.
Been there I use to work for this sports bar and grill called Duffys one of the busy restaurants in south Florida I did everything including sauté. The most gnarly work we would be so deep in the weeds it would seam like there was no way out . Some of the most solid hard working people I’ve ever been around . This shit is no joke lol
I wasn't a Chef just a Line Cook and I remember having to cook like this especially on weekends all dayoh and Restaurants pay pretty well now days depending on where you work
I use to work in Italian restaurant. We use to make a big portion of pasta then. During service we weighed the pasta before being cooked. It was efficient and fast.
Honestly for the amount of food being pushed out, that kitchen is very clean. Worked in the industry in the past and some big kitchens, and kitchens were never that clean.
I guess you don't do enough rice to justify a rice cooker but damn that microwaved rice triggered me a little. Awesome video and great cooking! I could never do that.
Been binging on pov cooking channels yours came across recommended. Love your passion you show my only complaint why are any of you not wearing vinyl gloves? Covid still present among other strains and we know our hands were told wash, wash, wash. Please reconsider. In some states it’s board of health mandatory
The excitement I get off my job is one in a million! Wouldn’t change it for the world! And you get paid pretty well if you are good what you do! And I bloody love it!!
Don't worry so much about swear words. I would worry about AI catching you for copyrights for the song. Go and buy a license for music it's cheap and you play the whole song. We like jamming with ya on the line.🤙
when you compare your speed and the guy at the frying station, you got the wrong job. He looks like he is about to doze off. but then again i prefer busy.

Thanks heaps brother! Appreciate it!
GTA music is the best for casually plating pasta.
That kitchen has chemistry and good peer environment. The work is way hard but coworkers like those makes the team. Amazing.
You gotta love cooking to do this for 8 hrs straight. Hats off to chef
If only 8! 12/16 was my normal.

As a life long cook, so far, I cant tell you how understated it is to have music you like playing while in the zone like that.
The pasta dishes look phenomenal!!! Those portions!!!
I'm a 40-year retired saute cook and I love watching you guys. It makes me feel young again.

Question about the noodles, who pre cooks them and bags up the portions? Are they regular spaghetti or thin , how often are they pre prep

how do you even know thats the case? maybe hes just good at what he does
