Die Hard is such a good film. Myself and my dad watch it together every single year around Christmas. We've been doing that since I was like 13. Such a great action film.

If the movie took place during a Halloween party, had streamers and candy, and ended with Monster Mash or whatever other Halloween songs there are, no one would be calling it a Halloween movie. Christmas is basically a plot reason for people to be there, but it's not about Christmas or "the spirit of Christmas". It's about a guy trying to save his wife (ex-wife?) from terrorists, and they maybe learn to love each other and not be so mean to each other or something. It's been a while since I've watched it.

Although with the barrel detached, I can see how she'd mix it up with the P90, since Fabrique-Nationale (a Belgian company), are known for their rather oddball appearances (see: P90, F2000)
