When ame's voice is so cute that god nerfed her to become a tone deaf. but still ITS WAY TOO CUTE.
This isn’t “tone deaf” though, she obviously knows the proper rhythm and intonation, she just doesn’t have enough practice in modulating her voice and she’s she seems to be holding back in fear of being too loud.

This just reminds me how much joy Hololive EN and by an extension Hololive JP and ID have brought me these past few months, and this year as a whole. I don't regret a single second falling into this glorious and wonderful hole.
I went from always watching individual vtubers to now watching Yagoo memes & Hololive ID/EN/JP videos like an addict. I'm not regretting it one bit, probably the best rabbit hole I fell into.

She should take a look at her Sempai Watame's Vocal Exercise videos.
I think it’s just a thing of learning how to hit higher octaves correctly, it feels like she’s not using her vocal cords to her fullest potential, she could probably be great with some training
I have a similar problem (IMO) in a lot of senses, for some reason my throat just gets "gunked up" really easily and it's stopped me from ever being able to sing properly. Her singing sounds really similar to mine in a lot of ways at the very least and I know that's a problem that I've had. Never talked to a vocal coach or doctor thoroughly about it though as it's never been a huge problem for me in my life.

There’s a lot of heart. It also makes her sound relatable, like how a lot of us would sing if we were to do a livestream karaoke.
