Clint is a once in a century human. There isn’t another Clint McMillan that walks the face of the earth and that’s why he’s the best. The perfect mix of backyard garage and mad scientist. And dear lord do I love that little green truck
this is the damn truth and that mix is what makes the magic happen. you obviously have to be able to do proper professional clean work on customer cars but the difficult part in my opinion is finding the ability to not get carried away when doing your own stuff. if you’re not careful you’ll end up with a 5 year jack stand project or hundreds of man hours and lost sleep invested into a 5k turd. at the end of the day they are cheap cars that don’t seem like they’re ever gonna explode in value like some of the other cars we’ve seen so you have to find a balance of how much time you can spend when your fixing em up.

Love the VW Diesel Fuel Economy, it's Legendary. Have owned 8 Diesel Rabbits over the years. 81 Pickup, with 90s 1.9 AAZ Turbo Diesel, several Diesel Rabbit cars, and now have an 80 Dasher project to install an engine on, and an 81 Rabbit Caddy Truck, 1.6 Turbo Diesel. Also owned two VW gassers, a 79 Scirocco and 80 Rabbit.
they really are something special and there's now way to explain to to someone who hasn't owned or driven one. as slow as he 1.6's can be, they've earned their keep.

I have an ABA swap in my 82 caddy that only has 1,000 miles on it. Twice the power of the old 1.6 diesel and will run for another forty years. 👍
