The thing that is so ick about a LOT of TT creators is their willingness to be rude, obtrusive, obnoxious, stupid, offensive just to get content that might “go viral.” It’s sad and gross.
And see, this is where James and Robert are out of touch because celebrities actually come up to them to get pictures and they're like, "You're Marcus' brothers, right?!" So...
My thing with Billie, she's probably right. An influencer will do exactly what they need to do, take photos, videos, etc. in areas that otherwise wouldn't have been photographed. It probably feels like being in a small space with fans rather than mostly peers like it used to be. And it's probably frustrating that the safe space you had is now filled with people who are now in a way forcing them to be "on".
It’s not just like they’re fans though, it’s like they’re a new breed of paparazzi who want to act like they’re friends with you and probably hope to do some social climbing. I would be so annoyed if I were a celebrity lol
I can't fault Billie even if she was talking sh*t about tiktokers. I imagine she might've even felt somewhat unsafe bc the lengths some "creators" go to for the sake of content can be extreme
I totally agree with you about the Billie eilish thing. When i saw clips of tiktokers going around to the celebrities and taking selfies with all of them, it was really weird.
100% with you on the whole tictockers being unprofessional. I used to work and somewhat communicate with celebrities directly and we had a strict policy of no pictures and no asking for personal information/contact whatsoever even if they seem friendly and willing to give us that info. It's unprofessional and quite frankly pretty rude in my opinion. But then again, most of those influencers didn't get famous from being professional during work or events so it wasn't that big of a surprise when a bunch of them act like heathens.
It’s a bummer that small influencers get their ideas taken from them, but also, in Miranda and Emma’s case, Miranda used a well-worn vintage V-day trope and seemingly claimed some kind of ownership. That’s not the same thing. :(
The thing is that she didn’t invent it nor do most influencers half of them stole the idea from someone else or stole something similar like getting butt hurt of something you didn’t invent or come up with is just weird
I love your take about professionalism. I think a lot of celebrities can't stand the influencers, because they never ask permission to start filming the celebrity or just go right up and try and pose for a selfie without asking. You don't really see the celebrities act like that with fans. They know the difference between fans and clout chasers.
I’d heard Billie had been annoyed by a particular TTer out on the red carpet and it probably irritated her for the rest of the evening, worsened by the TTers turning into fans and wanting selfies.
I’m sick to death of people normalizing the idea that people (including celebrities) are just props for their content. I recently watched an older Kiki Channel video where she was ranting about a situation where Miranda Lambert stopped a concert to call out a group of women that were taking flash photos like right in front of the stage-basically having the singer as a background prop for their photo-calling it disruptive and inconsiderate. I just don’t get where people’s heads are at
While I generally agree with your point (and I'm glad to live in the EU with much stricter rights to privacy and rights to your own image), the example provided will have to require some context to truly condemn it. First off, was it forbidden to take photos? Was it allowed to take photos but forbidden to use flash? Were the two people posting the photo as content? Were other people disturbed by this or made part of the photo against their will? Was it just once or done repeatedly? Because if it was allowed and they only took one picture to have a memory together of going to a concert while taking care not to be rude or hurting anyone in the process, then I feel it's a bit different and can't be considered using anyone as a prop but rather just having a memory of a fun and unique experience together. Once again, this all depends on a lot of circumstances. But taking photos together with a celebrity in the background at their own concert has been around way longer than social media. And to me it depends a whole lot if a single photo was taken (or maybe even 3 or 4 in quick succession to ensure they're not blurry, etc.) in order to have a private souvenir or to abuse someone for clicks and likes. Once again, it's dependent on whether taking pictures is even allowed of course. It's also a different matter if it's a concert or just meeting someone randomly on the street. To be clear, I'm not saying it's automatically right even if it's for private purposes. But the whole thing needs to be viewed in context as well. Taking some photos at concerts when it's not forbidden isn't necessarily disruptive or a bad thing. I can't judge this particular situation either. I also deem it worse if someone is constantly holding up their phone to block the view. But a commemorative photo for private use with the celebrity in the background of their own concert, given it's allowed and no one is being shoved or otherwise harmed nor included in the picture, is a whole lot different than using someone as a prop for clout. Celebrities have a right to privacy of course. If their rule is no photos (or no photos with flash), then that needs to be respected. Rules are rules after all and they can decide that for themselves. I just believe such an instance needs to be viewed with some nuance before reaching a conclusion. If photos were allowed, then they can't complain people will use the chance to have some tangible memory together with a friend. This is not at all unusual for people to do and is not rooted in disrespect or treating them as an object. A line always needs to be drawn naturally. A crowd is not always the best spot to take a picture together. Permission is also necessary. Private use and actually uploading pictures to the internet is another huge difference. The time and place naturally also matters. A celebrity having their own concert is often seen as an appropriate time to take a picture. The press tends to be around if the celebrity is important enough and if it's allowed, then I can't say anyone can complain about a single photo as long as no one is interrupted. I totally understand the frustration if people are posting all their antics however. Especially on TikTok but also RUclips and other social media to some extent. People are losing more and more respect for other people and are indeed not treating them as humans anymore in many cases. Interviews with strangers who don't consent, filming without permission and then posting it for clout, etc. is becoming more and more rampant. And even if some of it is technically allowed in many countries doesn't make it okay. Filming public performances, even if done by the performee themselves, where the audience and public isn't blurred out isn't okay. Yes, they may be allowed to in the US for example as it's often allowed in public spaces, but it still doesn't make it any better. The same can also be said by posting interactions without consent. Yes, in some cases these are used for legal purposes and if legally obtained, then go ahead. But posting them online and actually leaving random people open to be attacked over every little private argument is indeed nuts. While some people may say someone insulting someone viciously for example deserves to be publicly called out, we also all know that the internet has a dark side that goes far beyond simply condemning behavior with reasonable words and repercussions. And exposing someone to such danger, even if they've made a mistake, sometimes even committed a crime, isn't at all advisable nor proportional to what was done in a lot of cases. Sure, some crimes deserve to be heavily punished in a legal context and maybe even made public, but threatening someone's life isn't appropriate. Especially when conclusive evidence may not be presented. A proper legal prosecution is a different matter which can be deserved but public persecution has to be viewed critically because people still have a right to privacy, not all things need a public opinion in the first place, and people also tend to forget that some things are better solved privately before it unnecessarily escalates. Just because some things are legal doesn't make them okay. Gathering evidence for crimes within legal means is fine. But posting it all won't even help in many cases unless someone is exposing a scam by another creator for example with the goal to prevent more people from falling victim to it. Many people are also not at all conscious of the potential consequences of their "content". Nor the fact that some of it can be seen as harassment, bullying and so on. There's a reason some of these things are forbidden in other countries. Some of the content is downright criminal too. Like a huge amount of these "pranks". Or doxxing. Things certainly have to be viewed with nuance. Not every drama video is necessarily deplorable as long as it sticks to facts which aren't exactly private information. Not every photo at a concert is objectifying anyone. And so on and so forth. What we can definitely observe however is what you already said. Many people viewing others as props to their content or even as content by themselves. A dangerous trend which has affected many innocent people and harmed them. Be it emotionally, mentally or physically. Sometimes for life. The general disregard for privacy is a problem and TikTok is taking this to extremes. Far more so than most other websites. To the point where people aren't asking themselves anymore if just because they can do something, they also should do it. I believe the US and many other places need an update to privacy laws. While some may shout "it's my freedom to film anything I want!", there is also the counter argument that people should have the freedom not to be made an object for clout against their will just because they are out in public. Because most of us need to go to public settings and having anything you do potentially uploaded without your knowledge and consent is humiliating and quite frankly taking someone's control over themselves away from them.
Holy crap that was an insane reply. The pictures were disruptive, it was many women repeatedly taking flash photography during the actual performance. None looked under 30, definitely old enough to understand concert etiquette.

6:00 YES! Last year, I was HAUNTED by the Te-moo ads and now all if the sudden it's Te-mu?! Also, I agree that the "shop like a billionare" thing is... off. MAYBE if it's meant to be like, shop without looking at the price

They definitely did, I thought I was crazy! 😂 they played that ad every chance they got, I memorized the song lol. So when they changed it, I noticed the pronunciation was different and the music timing was different too.

tbh i think for the celebrities they basically took part in a meet and greet without their knowledge or consent and some of the TTs were just flat out rude to them sooooo
which is a security issue and "free" labor. I'm sure their managers would have negotiated a contract for them being present and being seen present at this event, not to be in all of these little videos and posts. they get paid by the post, why would you assume you can just use them as a prop.
Iiiiii have so many feelings about that cetaphil ad, I don't even know where to start. And sponsorship aside, at least what the original creator and her dad have is real and wholesome... Completely agree r.e the TikToker thing, I've seen and read so many stories about tiktokers harassing celebs at these high profile events and I imagine it's because very few them get media training and some of them have built a career off not understanding boundaries. So it's also not surprising that they behave like that 😬
I think it's easy to call it a copy, but there are so many stories of dads and daughters bonding over the whole situation. ESPN ran a whole segment about it with different families. So it feels like kind of a stretch to say it's a copy of this one creator, rather than inspired by and relating their product to a current phenomenon happening, relevant to the event the ad is in?
@@jess_ismore*No. It had way too much likeness to the original.* Cetaphil is affiliated with a bigger brand and not dumb. The lawyers would've advice under laws governing Copyright infringement process which includes the unauthorized or unlicensed copying of a work subject to copyright, along with Plagiarism, which is using someone else's work or ideas without giving proper credit. They would've ignored the family like they did Miranda if they didn't have a case.
@KaeMaiden you wrote a lot, but it's not necessarily true. Especially the legal stuff. Plagiarism has to do with academic work and is not relevant. Copyright wouldn't even necessarily apply when looking at recreating a concept. (Here, copyright would apply if they took the actual content and used it without permission or used actual wording/ script.) Copyright protects created works and their recreations (physical duplications of art or photos, physical copies of DVDs, scripts, lyrics, even sometimes melodies or chord progressions, etc.) and focuses on who is allowed to profit from, distribute and use the works. It does not cover people/ companies using generally similar concepts. Think about how many TV shows have the same "don't do drugs" episodes. The concept is the same.
My teeth are discolored since they grew because as I baby I received some medications and it affected my teeth. Some kids developed even green teeth, some grey, some yellow. Mine are kind of grayish but I was lucky, not too much. Still, I am trying to keep them natural as long as possible. Yes, having nicer whiter teeth would approve general looks but I don't want to have my teeth filed to stumps so that they look better. And you have to replace those caps every 10 years, that's a lot of commitment and your teeth can rot inside of those caps and you wouldn't even know it.
I remember reading somewhere that pearly white teeth are actually unnatural because actual teeth aren't supposed to be that white. I think it's another beauty standard that is artificially created and then people are shamed for not archiving it naturally. Rather than the colour of teeth, I'm more worried about bad breath...like you meet really attractive person with perfectly straight white teeth and then you wish they just don't open their mouth ever again, around you. Worse some doesn't get the hint when you offer them a mint - they are like "oh no, thank you".
Almost a decade ago, I had an oral procedure to remove extra gum that was covering my teeth to prevent gum disease. I have a yellow-ish tint on my teeth where the gum covered. I've been getting cleanings 4 times a year and it's helped some. I wish my teeth were whiter but my gum and teeth health has been more important
The whole standing around celebs at a pro event & wanting photos or content.... just no. I would be annoyed as a celeb by this, too. Not professional by those social media people, mainly the ⏰️tokers. I get this and I agree.
10:29 I went to a Comic Con back in the early '00 and had a pair of "vampire" fangs made. They were awesome, but, years later I realized they were made of acrylic nail stuff. I wore them for club nights and LARPs for a bit and then put them away. Thanks for reminding me of this.
You really are the perfect balance of entertaining, concise and level headed without all the baiting "fluff." It's genuinely a pleasure to watch your content, James!
I am baffled again and again seeing what people do to themselves to look "good". Nobody seems to be appreciating their healthy, functioning bodies. They undergo surgery, file down their teeth and even change their eyecolour and ignore the risks. Barely anybody seems to be thankful and happy just the way they are. I am concerned about that.
They have privilege to not appreciate being healthy and able bodied, they won't ever have to think about it as long as they won't have a major injury or debilitating illness in the future. Having optimal health and ability is a privilege and people don't think about it until something happens to them. I'm too sick fatigued and in too much pain to care as deeply about my looks as I used to when entering puberty, I just don't want to feel like shit all the time
@@S3lkie-Gutz I am really sorry to hear that you have to struggle that much. 🌼 You are absolutely right, a lot of people do not think about being healthy until they no longer are. But the way she moved, her energy and just the things her body was able to do... I found that super attractive. (The moves were not "sexy" at all, thats not what it was about). From that time I wanted a body that could do things, that could express what I wanted to express. And I startet caring less about looks. I don't wanna waste my time worrying about unimportend things like wrinkles, spending hours in the bath and at the end never be pretty "enough". Billie Eilish has has every reason to be skeptical around TikTokers. The number of people who have dragged her name through the mud only to turn around and try to praise her is so incredibly bad. And some of the ones on the red carpet were being outright inappropriate with not just her but other stars. I wouldn't want to be around those clout gobblins either.
Billie doesn't hate Tiktokers. She's friends with some of them. She just hates being hounded and there's ones who were. I'm sure most celebrities go to these events not expecting to be asked to take pictures with fans *inside* the venue.
Also with Billie. I think that tiktokers would get more respect if they conducted themselves more professionally and understood that not everyone wants to be filmed 24/7.
The whole thing with Billie Eilish is so stupid and silly. For one thing, she was having a private and personal conversation. In that conversation with someone else, it was no one else's business what or who they were talking about. Besides, everybody hates TicTocers. They should just be used to it by now.
The name pronunciation was changed when compared to older commercials. I think changing tee-mu to te-mu during this was to get people going "omg we've been saying it wrong" which= more buzz, more sales...
They are singing Tee-mu in the temu song though. I hate this advert so much. I got bombarded on youtube with temu ads without ever visiting their side or app. I usually get ads from brands which websites I've been on or googled
I can imagine Tiktokkers at a mixed event with celebrities might feel like a form of paparazzi, wanting something from them constantly for their channel, in stead of having a clear on and off time that other celebrities would have.
LOL James “I will never say it like that” 😂 Reminds me of when I was saying SHEIN to my friend and she was like it’s SHE-in. Like ok I’m still not saying it like that. 🤣
Agreed, don't flash a camera in someone's face when they're networking in a professional environment because they can't say no or people will come for them like they did Billie. Hostage celebrity photos.
I don't know about that Cetaphil commercial, because yeah that girl's videos might be viral but that exact scenario was happening with hundreds if not thousands of Taylor Swift fans. I saw countless posts about fathers bonding with their daughters because of it. Like am I missing something?
I have been bombared by that temu ad for MONTHS, literally almost every video I watch on RUclips has it, the song is so stupid and it gets stuck in my head for ages. I literally have almost gotten RUclips premium just for it too go away but I’m can’t afford it rn so I’m stuck with this ad driving me insane 😭
i LOVE how Emma Chamberlain handled the situation. It was clearly inspired from the past, and she didn't do any defensive statements, just slapped the girl with the truth. Truth always wins.
James, your channel is amazing and you do not have to justify being a content creator. Any thinking person would realize how much work it takes to be successful at it.
New phobia unlocked. I hate, makes me physically ill to see videos of dental procedures and knowing that people do that to their teeth without needing it… 🤢
Still can't wrap my head around the veneers thing. I had to crown one of my molars after my old dentist mangled one and knicked the other behind it. So imagine the tooth sensitivity from a freshly installed crown, plus the scratching from a weirdly filed edge next to it, and imagine trying to eat or drink properly when one of those two problems flare up. And people do this to their whole mouth? For fun?
WAAAAIT... I PAUSED TO TYPE THIS OUT, I WATCHED A FEW MORE SECONDS OF THE VID. THESE PEOPLE ARE GETTING *SCAMMED* INTO GETTING CROWNS ON ALL THEIR TEETH??? THAT'S *NOT* WHAT VENEERS ARE SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE ?????????? W H A T
Tiktokers are microceleb in their heads because we allow them to feel that way. So Billie ain't wrong. It's so awkward how they just shove phone in real celebs faces
the smell from the veneers or the clip-on teeth/covers could be potentially from bad hygiene? Like they don't feel like they need to brush or use mouthwash anymore because they have "perfect teeth"? I have a retainer for after I had braces, and I was instructed to clean it with a toothbrush + toothpaste every time I take it out in the morning etc. So are people not cleaning the clip-on teeth/covers and just popping them on with residue from food, bacteria etc.?
I have scarring on my front teeth that gets yellow so easily, and whenever i feel bad about it i think about the people who look like theyre wearing those $1 fake teeth that you put in your mouth for halloween looks
I used to love watching the Super Bowl just for the advertisements but after taking college English courses I can’t stand them. Full on rhetoric you can pick apart frame by frame. If you want to be easily persuaded to think a certain way without even realizing what’s happening, then sure, watch Super Bowl commercials 😂
My first trip to America, my first morning, I got engrossed watching a trailer for a movie, made my husband wait until the end so I can note the name down as it looked great .. nope.. I had been watching a political party advertisement! I also love the medicine adverts and the tons of disclaimers 😂
The temu ads that were running on youtube when it first came out had the voiceover pronouncing it 'tea-moo', suddenly its been changed so the voiceover in the ads pronounces it 'teh-moo'
Temu ran that same ad in the super bowl last year, and constantly since then. The thing that makes me feel like I'm going crazy is that I am 100% sure that it was originally pronounced TEE-mu, And they changed that commercial and others that they run all the time only a few months ago to say Teh-mu. The first time I heard it I googled to see if anybody else noticed, and I couldn't find anything.
Temu literally has in the song that I heard all the damn time, (before I started paying RUclips to stop bothering me with ads), literally sang TEE-MU, over and over and over again!!!
I agree with Billy. When you talk about a job and you're talking about producing something that's generally what people count as a job. It's like back in the early 2000s when people would talk about certain personas and it was like they were rich because they were famous. They were famous because they were rich. I think the question connects with if you are no longer on that platform, would your absence be felt? Would what you are producing or creating no longer being available and have a negative impact on people? There's a difference between someone like this creator who provides information and general assistance regarding products, techniques, and somebody having 2 million or 6 million followers just because somebody wants to look at what they're doing or decides to follow them because "gee so many other people are following this person". Somebody on social media who just doofs around and is suddenly no longer on social media, the people who follow them would just find somebody else to watch doof around and that's why they're all so very concerned with "relevance ". In general, their absence would have no effect and therefore their presence can be just to take it or leave it kind of thing. If you compare what Billie eilish does, which is abstractly create art, to what a lot of those people who were there do well, all they do is abstractly attempt to market themselves with self-promotion. It's "look at me for the sake of looking at me" not "look at me because I have something worth looking at" 🤷♀️ I'm sure after a decade or so it'll all sort itself out. Everyone will have figured it out.
Hearing the term turkey teeth made me laugh really hard. I live in america and although im not a sports person, the super bowl is everything. But really its the commercials and half time show. All the companies spend millions to advertise there.
I really really hate the ads. Of Temu. They are super cringe and one time it was like a screaming chicken and really loud I was so pissed. Blocked them all and I finally don't get them anymore
2:46 I don’t know if you saw that Netflix series episode… where Netflix took a regular girls life and made a TV show out of it and Salma Hayek played the girl in the show that the real girl ended up watching about her own life… 😅.. I hope I did OK at trying to explain this, but that’s the vibe I got … I think it was a black mirror episode
Just a heads up the NFL is super strict about the word “Super Bowl” being used anywhere without rights to it. Idk if they could actually go after a UK based RUclipsr but I’ve at the very least heard other RUclipsrs (albeit American) using the words “the big game” to avoid litigation.
Influencers, whether tiktokers or youtubers, have had one too many impactful examples of why they're often viewed as lacking professionalism, let alone capable of any sense of humanity. I would bet all the money I have to my name that these tiktokers were not just sitting there twiddling their thumbs, phone/camera in pocket, when she started talking about them.
lol I watched the Super Bowl with my husband (for the ads and the halftime show) and my husband was like umm we’ve been saying Temu wrong 😅 I was so surprised to see Temu Ads during the Super Bowl 😮 In America we usually get beer commercials so I was a little shocked to see beauty Ads. I’m definitely going to have to watch deep dives about Temu! I’ve been meaning to, but don’t buy from Temu, however I find it interesting and it’s important to watch. 💜
There were more Beauty Ads and Shopping Ads because a lot more females (younger aged especially) were watching because of Taylor Swift, and they were the main target of Super Bowl ads this year.

Oh my, those teeth are giving me 'Ross from FRIENDS, glow-in-the-dark, too white teeth' vibes! LOL IYKYK Edited to add I agree with you, James, about the TikTokers. I also believe that a lot of TikTokers lack the professionalism needed for them to be taken seriously as professionals. And if I were Billie, I wouldn't want to constantly bothered by influencers while I'm trying to enjoy an event. The influencers should have had a specific place and time where celebrities who were willing to be involved in pictures or content could do so.

Then I got a nice auto water and feeder and they were so bad. Wouldnt dispense the food. My cat free feeds so I just needed one that used gravity to keep the bowl full all the time. But it wouldn't work. I ended up spending more money to just get a decent one.
I feel as if I need to defend the tooth crown procedure. It was all that was available back maybe up to 10 years ago and I got two due to two of my teeth changing colour due to an autoimmune issue. The poor teeth were filed down to stubs and crowns were put over them. It was sad. I loved my teeth so much but it was the only way available to deal with the weird colour (think like brown and yellow veiny marbling, it really looked bad). HOWEVER, I did this about 10 years ago and there has been NOTHING wrong with the new teeth ever. EVER. So... I'll keep claiming it's down to the dentist.

Exactly.
Billie has spoken out about how people approach her and how she doesn’t feel comfortable with at times
@@Merilly I ain't reading all that

It’s hilarious how many people still shop on Temu when it’s been proven that they steal the buyers info.
Every website does. And people will complain about Temu whilst actively using sites like FaceBook
What!? I don’t know much of anything about Temu but I guess I have to look into it!
the app looks sketchy anyway
kinda like people ALL use google knowing how sneaky devious dishonest and racist it is, and are the goat of stealing and selling peoples info
Temu is so awful, I hate that it's still being used so much
Temu has a minimum spend - definitely encouraging rampant consumerism when you'd have to buy 10 things hit £20.
The shipping is "free" though. It wouldn't really be feasible for any business to ship an order under $15 to another country for free.
Then for everything to end up in the ocean or landfill..so gross!
And 100x the carcinogens touching customers' skin. Lax government regulation, toxic byproducts, fly by night factories stealing IP from each other, cutting corners to make a quick buck, putting exporter millionaires' profit ahead of consumer safety.

6:00 YES! Last year, I was HAUNTED by the Te-moo ads and now all if the sudden it's Te-mu?! Also, I agree that the "shop like a billionare" thing is... off. MAYBE if it's meant to be like, shop without looking at the price
It's so strange they decided to re-record the jingle!
Honestly I find the tagline so patronizing... Like, are you really trying to imply I'm dumb enough to believe billionaires buy mass produced plastic junk from China? For that alone I would never even consider giving them money.
If you look the temu ad from the 2023 super bowl, they clearly call it "tea moo". They changed it!
They definitely did, I thought I was crazy! 😂 they played that ad every chance they got, I memorized the song lol. So when they changed it, I noticed the pronunciation was different and the music timing was different too.

Yes! I had to look up last year's video to prove to someone tad it was in fact different last year
tbh i think for the celebrities they basically took part in a meet and greet without their knowledge or consent and some of the TTs were just flat out rude to them sooooo
which is a security issue and "free" labor. I'm sure their managers would have negotiated a contract for them being present and being seen present at this event, not to be in all of these little videos and posts. they get paid by the post, why would you assume you can just use them as a prop.
That Chamberlain Coffee shoot is so clearly Marilyn Monroe-inspired that I never would have assumed they were stalking influencers for ideas.
(Here, copyright would apply if they took the actual content and used it without permission or used actual wording/ script.)
Copyright protects created works and their recreations (physical duplications of art or photos, physical copies of DVDs, scripts, lyrics, even sometimes melodies or chord progressions, etc.) and focuses on who is allowed to profit from, distribute and use the works.

Yeah I'm with Billie. Can't be intruding on someone's space just bc they're famous
Also with Billie. I think that tiktokers would get more respect if they conducted themselves more professionally and understood that not everyone wants to be filmed 24/7.
The influencers were upset at Billie because they are probably use to people kissing their you know what and Billie wasn't having it
i dont really like billie personally, but i absolutely agree with her on this.
The whole thing with Billie Eilish is so stupid and silly. For one thing, she was having a private and personal conversation. In that conversation with someone else, it was no one else's business what or who they were talking about. Besides, everybody hates TicTocers. They should just be used to it by now.
Thank you. I was so lost on why anyone cares. People shit on tiktok on a daily basis, just because she's famous it's bad?
The name pronunciation was changed when compared to older commercials. I think changing tee-mu to te-mu during this was to get people going "omg we've been saying it wrong" which= more buzz, more sales...
They are singing Tee-mu in the temu song though. I hate this advert so much. I got bombarded on youtube with temu ads without ever visiting their side or app. I usually get ads from brands which websites I've been on or googled

And if I were Billie, I wouldn't want to constantly bothered by influencers while I'm trying to enjoy an event. The influencers should have had a specific place and time where celebrities who were willing to be involved in pictures or content could do so.
I hate temu
I tried to order some pet thing on there since pet accessories are soooooooo expensive.
The only thing kind of good that I got was a litter mat for my cat that was so small it didn't even Matter if it works or not. Ended up giving that to someone else who was having litter issues.
Then I got a nice auto water and feeder and they were so bad. Wouldnt dispense the food.
My cat free feeds so I just needed one that used gravity to keep the bowl full all the time. But it wouldn't work. I ended up spending more money to just get a decent one.
We definitely know you have a real job & it's helping people make wise product choices without spending our hard earned money on hype & marketing. ❤️🖤
not the cetaphil ad before this video what is goin to happen to me
I feel as if I need to defend the tooth crown procedure.
I was stunned when an influencer posted about having to go to Turkey every couple of years to get her veneers redone because they chip off😳😳 I got veneers on my top, front four teeth done in 2006. One of the front middle veneers cracked in 2017 and my dentist replaced both front middle with caps so they were even. Last year another one cracked. And the fourth one is still intact.
LOL what a failed ad campaign! Especially with Cerave’s epic ad with Michael Cera!!
That heart ad reminds me of I Love Lucy.
Last year's superbowl, Temu was pronounced how everyone thought it was pronounced. This year they changed it.
