In this video a flat fire happened in Millbank in Lambeth on Bon fire night 5th November 2023. Multiple London Fire brigade appliances from different fire stations were on scene of the fire.

SOHO 32M TL Left the scene so did Chelsea FRU within a couple of minutes after responding to the scene.

I don't think they could have closed it looks like a major route to me closing it could cause a major delay anywhere else they probably would have closed the road

Quite rare to close a main road in the U.K. because of a fire response.
