    The Words “except the State of Jammu and Kashmir” omitted by Act 34 of 2019, s. 95 and the Fifth Schedule (w.e.f. 31-10-
    2019) and extended to the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union territory of Ladakh by notification No. S.O.
    3962(E), Part II-section 3-Sub-section (ii) dated 31-10-20 (w.e.f. 1-1-2020).

    Sir, regarding non-applicability of Act on "A newly set-up establishment for an initial period of 5 years."
    The above mentioned clause is mentioned under which section of the Act or is there any Notification ?

    SIr, I am pursuing my MBA in HR and will be passing out within a few months. Haven't paid much attention to labour laws and going through your videos now to get a grasp of the same. The question I have is, I have been seeing for some days that the 4 labour codes will actually overwrite/consolidate/repeals/replaces some labour laws we already have. But we are also being taught the laws one after the another. So what should I do, in this scenario?

      You should learn Payroll Accounting and just learn Labour laws as it is. There is a book by SN Misra on labour and industrial law taught in LL.B . That is Gita Bible of Labour Laws.

    sir what is the logic behind adding 2 mpre years into the formula and dividing it by 70...just wanted to get more clarity on that ...otherwise the explanation is superb and engaging ....Good job 👍☺

    My previous company is a third prty services provider having 25 employees but not yet registered EPFO, not providing pf benefits my salary is less than 15k pm and more than 10k pm, instead of that they use to deduct 1000 every month from our salary as variable amount. Is it illegal.

    One more correction the employer made 13 per contribution 1 percent is deduction as charges that is .05 for edli and 0.5 portal admin charges

    Sir, Kindly suggest can law graduates have a solo practice I Payroll accounting and PF compliance? I understand doing accounting might be violation of Advocates Act. My query is can I practice in Payroll accounting like say- few enterprises forward there Payroll processing to Advocates etc.

    Sir,
    Thank You for the information.
    You have mentioned “It is optional for the Employees earning more than Rs. 15000, to get themselves registered under PF.”
    My Consultant is not agreeing on the above point. It would be great if you could you please provide some reference to the same in the act or some notification?
    Is there any form or declaration for the same, that has to be kept in record for future use?

    Hi Sir your lesson was very easy to understand but in the members pension the children upto 25 years would get the pension. I have a doubt that "is there any restriction on no of children? if yes whats the no of children? and pension would be given till the last child attain the age of 25?

      max 2 children, payable until the second child is 25 years old

      Dear Henna ☺ Since this video was recorded earlier... hence its showing not applicable to J&K Always Remember from now After passing of THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR REORGANISATION ACT, 2019, all labour laws are now applicable to J&K. ...

      Hi Rafia , You can check 2019 Amendments at icmai , rest is fine for CMA Inter. Since these laws are going to be replaced by new Labour Codes, I am working on codes instead of Amendments in existing laws. All the Best for Exams.
