- ResMed AirTouch F20 is a great full face mask that works well for people who struggle to get a good seal. The memory foam mask fits well around the face and fits into every curve, making it ideal for most. The 360 front mounted swivel works best with a tube hung overhead.
It does require more replacement when compared to the AirFit, so it might be a great option for those who like to use both and switch things up.

I am using this one as the silicone one gets slick and feels wet and I have to constantly remove it and wipe my face, it also makes my beard itch. The foam one gets rid of both of those issues for the most part, at least no wet feeling and only slightly itchy at times. I do agree the top of the mask presses in on my nose/brow (depending where I sit it on my face) if I get a good fit on it to where it will not leak from the top no matter what I do. I wear the large and kinda wish there was an even larger one as I can either put it on correctly and it closes up my nose a bit or I can move it up a bit and then its pressing into my brow and is annoying, so I usually wear it a bit loose on top but sometimes when I am at certain angles it will then leak air into my eyes.
I only just noticed the foam on Amazon this week and had no idea what it was. Thanks for explaining! I think I'll order one from your store and try it. I find that the silicone leaks a lot. Though, that might also be because my headgear is old and wearing out. But still, the foam looks more comfortable. I might even want to try wearing it every day, if I can afford it.
My air fit leaves marks at the top of my nose, every morning it looks like someone punched me in the face… but my insurance won’t cover the memory foam. It is a great mask, other than I had to buy foam strips to put over my nose, to get rid of the marks. But overall my asv machine has helped me a lot! I get better rest, I feel like I actually got a “good nights rest” and the app connected to my machine shows that I have less episodes of not breathing.
Air touch (foam one) was a game changer for me. Air fit just didn't work for me, wouldn't seal. Air touch was the only way I could use cpap.
I'm about to try the foam..the silicone just leaks and keeps me awake.
@@suzg7425 I also find that the silicone leaks and keeps me awake. I just saw the memory foam on Amazon and didn't know what it was. This video explained it and now I'm excited to try it.
Great videos! Thank you!
I use the air touch for over a year and only complaint I have is since it’s more narrow than the air fit it caused a deep wrinkle on the side of my face. I wish it was wider like the air fit
Thank You very informative I do like the memory form.
I can’t get the silicone one to seal. The foam one only seems to seal well for like 3 weeks then I have issues 🤷🏼♂️
Try changing out your cushion. It’s supposed to last 30 days but if you’re having issues I’d change out sooner or adjust your straps to tighten it a bit if you don’t want to change out that frequently.
@@debspeelman in nz we pay a huge price of $33nz for one, so to change every month is very expensive, I will try as the silcon ones are no good for this F20 unit (as too flimsy at the bottom so leaks too often), but the makers need to provide better value for money as over $30nz every month is not acceptable, when need to use machine every night. some parts of our country hospital boards supply for free, but only if live in their regions.
I have the f20 mem foam, love it, just don't wear it when you're sick if you're a mouth breather, you can spread atomized infected saliva into your lungs and get pneumonia. I am looking into tape assistance with closed mouth enforcement. For now I ordered a n20 which I don't like.
I'm hearing lots of biohackers talk about mouth tape. Have you tried it yet? I'm curious to try it. Though, I have a deviated septum and it's hard to breathe through my nose. So I don't know if mouth tape would be good for me.
@SparkTheGenius I ended up using the n20 airtouch as my full time mask and I use tape called grifgrip cut into strips. Great stuff, It doesn't come off at night at all. I "think" my nose is normal though with breathing through it except usually one nostril is clogged and they will alternate all night. It's not that I notice it sleeping, I just know if I fall asleep with my right one stuffed I can wake up 2 hours later to go to the bathroom and it's switched sides.
Please provide proof of your statement about pneumonia. If true, this is a huge lawsuit. If you have no proof of this, this is also a huge lawsuit against you.
@@bamafan1411 look it up, a few people talk about it and I'm sharing my personal experience with it. You must be American taking no responsibility for your own actions. Use your common sense and stop blaming people for stuff you do. Take my findings or don't. IDC.
I used to use the quattro, When using the MyAir app i would usually average around 80%, i spoke to a sleep therapist and diagnosed that there were leaks whan i sleep. The company sent me a sample of the f 20. My scores have jumped into the the 98%.
I have also used the quattro for many years in using a cpap, but had various issues with leaks, so tried the f20 and much beter, but it also leaks a lot especially at the bottom as the silicon bit doesn't stay connected to the hard plastic bit, so hoping the foam thing will be better, but very concernd as they say to replace every month but it costs far too much in our tin pot country of nz its over $30nz for just the foam bit. we get ripped off here, if not in one of the lucky regions that the hospital will suppluy for free, but not in my area. I will make it last a lot longer somhow.
Excellent presentation 🌟
Replace my f20 cushion and the air now is leaking with a horrible noise. Try to back the old cushion, same result. I think I lost my f20 and it’s so expensive
I have sensitive skin... silicone rubber irritates my skin
I have used a resmed comfort gel nasal mask for years. Lately, I have been getting a very painful zit under my nose where the mask rubs against it so I want to move to a full face mask. I have tried so many masks and can't seem to work with any clear silicone because of mask farts. I am kind of lost at the moment trying to find one that works.
New user with F20 AirTouch (memory foam) mask. Like you, it presses some higher part of nose (or presses on skin next to nose) that constricts nasal airflow. Will the F20 AirFit (silicone only) be less likely to cause this problem? (I am primarily a mouth breather, but it's annoying to not have option of breathing through nose. Yes, I wear the L size high so that the tip is even with or above top of my eyebrows.)
I found the silicon type for this f20 is not good as the base is very flimsy and comes away from the hard plastic frame too easily so leaks and is also the most logical way to hold the mask to put on and off, hoping the foam one will work better, but waiting for it to be delivered, as not available in my town.
My AHI is higher on a full face mask (-5) compared to a nasal mask (-1), what would be the reason for this? Thanks in advanced for replying, I learn a lot from your videos - cheers
You’re not a mouth Breather or may need more pressure
Thank you !

THE QUESTION THAT I HAVE IS HOW DO YOU CLEAN THE ELBOW??? I NOTICED ON MINE THAT IT IS COLLECTING FUZZ AND WATER AND I CAN'T OPEN THAT PART TO CLEAN IT AND TO DRY IT.🤔
@@Chafalota Of course, there’s NEVER an answer for the issues that matter! Notice how you must replace the ResMed F20 every 30 days unless you want to risk getting pneumonia . What insurance company will agree to replacing the mask due to manufacturer goofs in constructing their product. You must clean it, but they’d rather keep making money!😡🥵🤬🤑🤑🤑🤑

i am using an airfit f20 i have removed the silikon seal to wash it and cannot get it back on Any suggestions ? thank you
Yikes. I'm no expert, but I don't think you're supposed to remove the seal! I was at Vitalaire in Ottawa today, and asked if I could repair an old F20 mask where the seal is coming off, and she said no. (I was trying to tape it up for a while, because the masks are expensive. But that didn't work.)
Not supposed to remove it
I have the F20 with all silicone and I find it extremely difficult to change it. I just can't get them to separate. Any suggestion?
Pinch the mask to make it a bit smaller, and then pop it out.
@@SparkTheGenius thank you
can the airfit 20 be useed with a bypap
Yes
I have eczema so I switch to the AirTouch 😄
Do you like the AIrTouch? I"m just learning about it now and I want to try it.
@@SparkTheGeniusyah! The silicone irritated my skin, and the foam creates a better seal for me. You just have to replace it regularly because the foam loses some of its pillow-y-ness with time and use
@@emerson23946 Cool, thanks for the feedback! I might try it. Could be worth the expense to treat myself to a luxurious soft mask. But I seem to be doing OK with the knock off silicone for now. So I'll keep using this for a bit.
Why are your giveaway only canada
Because they're a Canadian store.
Ive tried both and find the memory foam does not seal any better at all
But is it more comfortable? I think that's the point. But also, I guess he was saying that some people find the silicone gets leaky - I know I find that.
magnets suck my friend too much trouble when you need to remove at night and try to reinstall i use the f10 no problems at all
