    I have seen tutorials for many different rag wreaths and I like your finished wreath the BEST! I believe the key difference is that by cutting the fabric strips at 2.5" wide and then folding them in half length wise when you tie them onto the wreath, you actually get to see MORE of the front side of the fabric print vs the backside, which is often just white. Your colors show up much brighter and bolder and I LOVE it! Thank you for all your wonderful & valuable tutorials! ~~ Christy ~~

      because of your post I am going to watch this video because I tried to start one and was annoyed that you can't see the fabric print.

    This looks so fun to make. I like the rag look too. Personally I dont care for the wreaths with fake branches, they poke and scratch me. 😊

    About how much fabric would the small wreath take? 7:48

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  Год назад +1

      Hi Cindy. If you use 3 colors, I would start out with about 1/4 of each. It depends on how tight together each piece is. Hope this helps. Glad you liked the rag wreath. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍

    Thank you very much! I have a question. What if I want the middle to show a little bit so it looks more like a wreath and not just a big circle that is filled all the way through. What size do you think I should make the strips for the inner part?

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  7 месяцев назад

      Hi User-ig9eg. I only use cotton fabrics and ribbons. I would look at different fabrics - purchase a small piece - and test it out. Let me know if you find anything that works. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍

      Hi Vickie. For the rag wreaths I only use cotton quilting fabric. But you can also use mesh and burlap for other types of wreath. Here is a link to my mesh wreath: ruclips.net/video/C1fjqIZQuBY/видео.html
