A couple of months ago Julie from Julie’s Wreath Boutique created this amazing new way of doing ribbon wreaths…and I must admit, I fell in love with this method after the first time I tried it.
And I am certain you are going to love this method as well. It’s great for using up all that leftover ribbon we all have stored somewhere.

60 pieces of 2.5” wired ribbon cut at 20”
14” wired wreath frame
Ruler
Scissors

This is really stunning! I'm not sure if I would've dove-tailed the ends. I'm thinking that it's so dazzlingly geometric that I'd have left the tails straight, except on the bow. The little loop you made for the center of the bow really makes that particular ribbon stand out in the rest of the wreath. Very effective!!

I love this wreath and colors. I love the checkered ones. I do have every color to try this, but atm, I'm still watching to understand wreath making better. Especially with mesh and burlap.
Anyway, this morning, I came across one of Julie's wreath making reels. Read the full tutorial on RUclips and rushed over to watch the full video. I loved her wreaths as well. You both do amazing. God willing, I can learn to do beautiful wreaths like you both.

How long is the tail once it’s pulled through? I have an 18 inch wire so I’m hoping to use it for this project using fall or holiday ribbons.
Oh my goodness, you had my cracking up with the bloopers, I do the same thing so you're not alone my friend! I love the look of all the ribbons you used, such a great way to use up the ribbon you already have. We should do a collab sometime.

I never was a good bow maker until recently (tutorials like yours is what has help me a lot) but I will say that every time I FLUFF my bows, I think of you Dave!

I love when you show us what you made!!! You know what would have been great? If the bow was a colour that popped like red, yellow, blue, pink... So it's not lost in the b&w. But I love it nonetheless! ❤

Hi Elizabeth, sometimes I can find ribbon at the dollar stores, but my favourite ribbons come from online stores like TMI Gifts or Unique in the Creek. They have amazing ribbons. Thanks. 😊
