Very pretty
Thank you! 😊
I'm glad I found this. The size of the fabric strips made it look fuller.
I enjoyed watching you create this beautiful wreath! Thank you!
Beautiful black n red flannel wreath
Thanks!
I know this was posted awhile ago, but I just made one for our Bunco gift exchange...your very clear and relaxed instructions were incredibly helpful....turned out great !
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for the comment!
Aww my gosh so simpler than others I’ve seen. Thank you.
Question: After you put the initial rag on the 1st ring of the wreath, you didn't show it in the second group. The first one was the only one on the bottom ring; does that make sense of what I'm asking? Also, do you do more on the first ring for the rest of the wreath. I'm a little OCD in this respect. Thank you!
I had the same question. Did you get a response?
Thank you so making this so much easier than most do I think that I can actually do this one myself ! I appreciate the way that you explained it in detail so that I can understand it . I’m a new subscriber by the way ! 😊
I see these wire wreath forms in so many different shapes and sizes all the time when I film my Dollar Tree videos. I’ve wondered about all the ways people can use them. I made a heart one. This is a great idea. I love how it turned out. I’m learning new ideas and skills from you! Your talent is inspiring. I am Happy to be learning together with you.
So glad you enjoyed the video! It’s always so nice to hear from other creatives.
BRILLANT!!!!!!!!! New shhhh!

Thank you!
Wow! Love ittt!
Thank you 😊
Beautiful wreath! Happen to know how many of the already cut rolls of fabric strips I would need for a 10Inch frame? Not flannel, just fabric the roll is 2.5"x42". I have cut the strips into 9" strips. Thank you!
I'm sorry I don't. I would cut some to try to fill one section, then multiply that by how many sections you have left.
I made one on a 12" wreath form using jelly roll strips, and I didn't even use half of the 40 strips. I also used all 4 of the wires on the wreath.
@@sabrinaharris6538 hi what are jelly roll strips I am from the uk and have not heard of these before but sound interesting xx
Do you think you could mix fleece and regular material on this wreath? I want to make you and have a bunch of fleece as well as regular fabric scraps. Would love to use them on this wreath. Great video!
I think mixing materials will not be a problem at all. It’s the amount that you use. More scraps make a fuller and sturdier wreath, especially if it’s in the weather. I have a cotton one outside that I flip every few days. Because of moisture it droops, but I don’t have that problem with inside wreaths. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful, thank you!!
thank you!
Hi how are you? I want to try a Philadelphia eagles one I have eagles fabric but what do you recommend for other colors do they need to b designs or can be just like all green or black? Also can this go on the front door, or will condensation mess it up
Hi Christy!
So excited you want to make a wreath!
I would suggest the Eagles fabric and green since that is their main color. I think that would look great! If you feel like you wanted to pull in some black, white, or grey ( I think that was the other colors in their logo) you could add a few strips and if you didn't like it you could just remove them. To make them easier to remove don't tighten the knots until you're certain.
As far as the condensation, as long as your fabric is washable, I don't think it will hurt it. It may make your strips droop a little if your material is thin, just rotate your wreath and they should straighten back up. You could try spraying with hair spray to hold them stiffer, I would test a sample first to make sure the color didn't bleed. I would also wet a sample of the material to see if the colors run, they shouldn't but you never know. If the green runs, it may be best to go ahead and wash it a time or two, you wouldn't want your green color to get damp and ruin your patterned material.
If your wreath will be where it will be rained on you may have more of an issue than just simple condensation. I made one I put on our camper door that got rained on and it didn't do anything but cause the upper strips to droop some. I just fluffed it a little, but that was my experience with it. Also, the sun will eventually cause the material to fade.
My biggest concern would be if you put something in the middle of your wreath. Metal and plastic should hold up pretty well with condensation, wood would be so-so depending on how it was prepped and finished. MDF board, pressboard, cardboard, and paper products would not hold up well in damp situations.
I hope this answers your questions. Thanks for watching the video and enjoy making your wreath!
Why didn’t you use the first and fourth rows? I love this wreath!
Thank you Nancy! I used the 1st row. I didn't use the fourth (outside row) so it would lay flat against the wall.
How many prices did you use?
Hi
So you did just 5 knot strips in each section or did you do 10 strips ? Did you all so do a pattern in each section, such as b&w strip then a red and black?
Hi Denise, I used about 6 to 7 strips folded and then knotted per wire. I tried to be really random, but not repetitive, so yes a B&W then a plaid red and black, then another pattern, then maybe red and black, then black and white, then pattern. I also jumped from wire to wire. I didn't put strips on the outside wire so the wreath would lie flat. Hope this answers your questions. Thanks for watching the video!
Hello! LOVE this wreath and especially the fabric coordination. Can you tell me where you found those specific fat quarters? I’d love to find that exactly or something similar. Thank you!!!
I found found these at Walmart. One thing I’ve realized is that if you really like something it’s best to go ahead and get it if you can. I’ve gone back to our local store and sadly they were sold out😢. You can buy small amounts at most fabric stores such as a fourth yard. I’d try that.
@@smokymountainmaker4745 They have these same ones back in stock, I bought the same patterns to make our wreaths. :)
Two fat quarters? But you used 5 colors, not understanding. Seems to me it would be 5 fat quarters. What am I not understanding? Thanks
I'd like the pattern to make this wreath but I need a password on the website to get it can you help please. Thank you. My mother in law and I are going to make this wreath.
If you didn’t find the password by signing up for my newsletter, the password is craft. I have decided for now to allow anyone who wishes to access my library without signing up to do so. Hope you and your mother in-law have a great time making these! Sorry, I didn’t see your message earlier.
@@smokymountainmaker4745 We did make them just so happens my husbands school colors are red and black with white, so he took the wreath I made and hung it on his classroom door! So pretty. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Gorgeous! What size of frame did you use?
I believe it was a 14 inch wire wreath.
Thanks for your response. Do you recall where you purchased the initial frame?
I found these wreaths at the Dollar Tree. One tip is to inspect before you buy, I did have one that one of the welds was loose. Not a deal-breaker, but FYI.
If you're referring to the white background, the wreath was placed on a white board for photographing, But, it would be easy to use a plain white canvas (as used in painting) to attach it to before hanging.
Would this work as well with ribbon?
To work with ribbon it would have to be a something that will stand up on it’s own. Too thin a ribbon will wilt on the upper edges. I believe a wired ribbon would be beautiful. You may have to add more pieces, as with any thinner material, so I would get extra (you could always return any unopened ribbon, but may not be able to acquire more should it sell out).
The wreath I made with cotton droops easier than the one I made with flannel.
Hopes this helps, I’d love to see your finished wreath.
@@smokymountainmaker4745 Thank you for the insight, I very much appreciate it!
@@ashcasey6999 You’re very welcome!
What is a good brand of fabric scissors?
I like Fiskars and don’t allow them to be used for anything else. Paper can dull scissors, so buy a cheap pair for other purposes.
so I joined but no password to get the template??
nm just got it! Thanks
LOVE THIS WREATH!!! #newsubhere
Thank you so much! Hope you'll enjoy my other projects too!

Where did you get that letter? It was perfect for that wreath!
Jeanie I found it at AT HOME, it was just a lucky find.
Love it, unfortunately you keep going outside of the camera shot
Thanks for the feedback...trying to improve my setup❤️
So you used 2 of the fabric packs?? Or just the 1?
Carolyn, I used two packs. I cut all the large material pieces and had leftover small pieces because the material was thicker. I had a white Christmas tree and used the rest on it's branches.
Gorgeous wreath. Will be my first time making one. Great idea using the extra pieces on your white tree!
Where did you find the initial frame? I want one!
I’ve subscribed to your channel and like the way you explained using step-by-step instructions.
Thank you.
