Thankyou. I'm glad my videos are helping people make a worthy decision
Good review mate! Well done... Looks like no clear winner... both look like winners
Thanks. Yes they are both great scooters.
very good video space! looks very good, very nice setup!
Thanks. More improvements to come yet
Great review Drew. Your set up is coming along nicely.
Let me address a couple of Makuta cons... With the wheel spin lean forward as you slam on the throttle & it minimises wheel spin.
The front guard snapping off issue is a simple fix, it just needs to be adjusted by moving it back, they are too low from factory, I also moved my back one forward for the same reason
Yeah I did move that guard forward too much. They are only minor cons
the problem of the front wheel slip in 3-SPEED dual mode, you can adjust in the P settings
The value of P12 is default 5 (Hard Start Stream)
You can lower the number to 1 (Soft Start Stream)
This can reduce the torque during startup. Relieve the problem of the front wheel slip.
😃😃
@@mukutariding I don't think it's a problem I actually love it 😁😂😂
@@mukutariding cool thankyou. I will give that a try.
Why do I only get about 40 kms on range on my m10 plus
Good review, thinking of getting either one of them, just got one question does the predator able to fold its handle down like Mukuta?
Yes
And it's very easy with the dragon patented stem clamp. One flap to undo and lift up to fold. Very simple but very strong design
I’m like 60kg and new to any kind of electric scooters like these 2, if I were to buy one, which one do you reckon I should get based on my weight, size (170cm), and experience, I have ridden the cheap 30km Aldi scooters before.😊
That's a tricky one. The predator is the easier one to ride and to learn on but it might feel too rough because of its tougher suspension. The makuta has a softer suspension but it's more powerful and very touchy on the throttle in dual motor. Both have some adjustments on suspension and throttle response but not much. For a newbie single motor on these scooters will be the way to go to get you used to the power then progress from there. I'd lean towards the predator though.
Do you think the 20.8ah battery’s longevity is much less than the LG version? Thanks
Hi if you're referring to the Makuta there will be a difference. I have done a range test with the version I have. I reckon the same on the larger lg battery version would have added maybe 10 to 15 km extra.
I may do a comparison video in the future while I still have this one
You can easily adjust the power level on the Mukuta with the P settings. Currently, 25 amp model is under 2000 US
Yeah I have done and it makes it much more user friendly and still has heaps of power
Hey man I was about to buy a mukuta 10 plus 21 ah. Do you reckon it’s a reliable scooter?
So far they have been pretty good. Although 2 I know of we have had to bleed the rear brakes a few times and one has had some minor suspension issues relating to the shock absorbers. I havent heard any other negatives
I have not seen the Dragon Predator in the US. I wonder who else makes/sells the same scooter under a different name?
I'm not sure with the predator. I know the lightning v2 has been sold in under different names so maybe in time It will be available in America.
I know dragon acquired the langfeitte factory to produce their scooters so that may be a place to start
I tried charging my battery on the mukuta 10 + With 1 charger. The light stayed green on the charger but the display shows only 2 bars charged.. Any suggestions?
Check the input voltage on the scooter to make sure it's set to 60v and make sure charger voltage is 67v. If that's set at 60v and display voltage says 67 its fully charged.
Charger should show red when charging.
hey mate i’ve got this scooter and i ride it pretty hard and have done just over 400ks on it and the bars creak pretty bad and it gets annoying is there any way to fix this
I haven't had it happen to any of my scooters with solid bars. It is metal on metal so it there's any loose bolts in the bar clamps that could cause it.
If you're taking about the dragon, all those bolts at the front of the deck, connecting to the handle rod, looks to be asking for the wobbles. That design put me off getting a predator.
If only the preditor had a trigger throttle
The throttle is a personal thing hey. I like the thumb throttle myself I find they are much better than a trigger throttle but others like yourself prefer the trigger. It would be good if scooters had the option of throttle style.
discount codes please guys
That would be great. If I get some I will definitely be letting my viewers know
My mukuta dies so quick yk how to fix that I’ve had it for 2 days and it goes from 5 bars straight to 2 after like 10 mins of riding
If it's charged correctly and all settings are correct and doing this I'd be contacting your palce of purchase to get it looked at. Keep in mind battery bars will go down a few bars under heavy acceleration which is normal. Plus the battery bars display isn't the most accurate way of gauging how much battery you have. The voltage is the best way to confirm battery capacity left
