Made these and they were delicious. I used corn starch and after coating, I laid them on a cookie sheet and put them in the fridge for 30 minutes, then coated them again before air frying!! So crispy and delicious! The sauce was amazing!! Thanks!

This is so easy! I tried this tonight but used chicken breasts instead! Turned out really good and my husband loved it. Way healthier than frying and better than takeout. Will make this again!

Just finished making this tonight. The only difference was that I added those dried red chillies from the Chinese supermarket. It was for sure the best recipe ever! Highly recommend it. Went amazing with nasi goreng.

"I can't be bothered with measuring..." Thank you for saying that. Some of us who have been cooking long enough actually do develop a certain sense or feel already. I tend to just guesstimate when teaching the younger ones certain recipes too. Just give them something to start with but always stress that they have to adjust to taste.

A suggestion on tomato paste, get it in the tube. You can use as much or as little as needed without having the issue of extra paste not used when using paste from a can. I love the tube. I pray you had a very blessed and happy Mother's Day.
Recently I, too, told a friend about the tubes of tomato paste and how easy to use.
I kept my tube in the fridge and loved having such an amazing way to have tomato paste ! Thanks for sharing your comment ! "

Even if it’s not really Chinese, one of my favorites, but expensive. Definitely, want to try this. My Instant Pot, has the air fryer built in. Hope potato starch is easy to find.

Looks good. Another tip, after using the garlic press, I put a piece of celery in the press to clean out ALL of the garlic. (I love garlic, btw)

Darn you Flo! My Zavor (way more expensive) pressure cooker hasn't even arrived and it seems by watching this I am going to need an air fryer next. I've really been avoiding buying these new gadgets in an attempt to uncomplicate my later years and it seems not to be working. This recipe looks absolutely wonderful.

Have you checked Spice N' Pans channel? I just watched his recipe for sesame chicken and he used the egg white, not the yolk and he let the meat rest after addi g the starch. Just some other ideas to try!

Happy Mother's day! My wife today was pitching the idea of getting an air fryer and then I saw your video. They look good but we have 5 people in our family and they don't seem to be able to fit enough food in 1 batch to feed my family. I think I would probably have to cook at least 2 or maybe 3.
Thanks! Yes... in my video last week I gave a quick review of the air fryer and talked about how the capacity was too small for us as well. The Philips does come in a XXL size. A friend says she’s able to fit a whole chicken in it.
