I love Dr Jerry Buss and I'm thankful for him and his family for sustaining such a worthy adversary.
I only hate the Lakers when we play them, but I've always respected their ownership, their city and have even loved a few of their players.
Magic, Worthy, Scott, Super Cooper, Kareem, Wilt, Elgin, Jerry & Shaq.

Us Lakers fans feel the same way. On the basketball court it's all business. Beyond that we always had mutual respect to the Boston fans and players. I've been to Boston Garden, the environment is very hostile during the Lakers and Celtics rivalries. But after the game the fans there are very classy and respectful of me sporting out my Lakers gears. Miss those glory days!

Dr. Buss, he`s the end of a generation and simply shows that whatever he`s passed along to his children--this is luxury taste at its best. The Lakers, in lean years, can still do a ceremony and bring back NBA`s Greatest, to remind us all, that the DNA of winning runs deep*...no tradition is richer, especially in the modern era of sports.

the HBO series is great....it really captures the fell for every different personality.... PLUS, I had no idea about JACK MICKENNEY, and that entire story of what went on.....I was born in 1982, so this is before my time.....at least i caught all of Jordan.....THATS WHAT COUNTS!!
