Passed mine a day ago! At the Whittier office in California, it was a breeze. Stay calm you got this guys! With zero errors.
I have mine tomorrow, I’m mostly nervous if the backing portion any tips
The backing portion wasn't too bad! Make sure when you're pulling to the curb check the mirror, and use your signal, when you're pulled by the curb, they'll tell you to place the car into park and when you're ready put it in reverse, for this portion there's a video that I really do recommend as it's a better visual for you I'll link it below.

Hey guys I just wanted to share a quick story of mine with my road tests. I took my first one a little over a week ago. I did it and messed up on 2 things. The 2 things should of marked me off 20 points. Everything else I did was fine. I got a bad instructor and she tried to mark me off 80 points. And after I looked at what she marked me off for I thought this is completely bs. It ruined my day knowing that I failed. So I found the next closest day to take my second one. On my second test I calmed down a lot and got a feel of how it was going to be and drove around the area before the test. I got a very nice lady and she didn’t scare me at all! I ended up passing the test and old had 20 points taken off!
So pretty much don’t feel to down if you fail the first and just think you know how the next one should be. Just pretend like the instructor is one of your friends! And if you need to take the second one pick a day that you feel is the most comfortable for you and get some practice in again!

I love what you said about pretending that the instructor is your friend. Even if they’re on the crabby side, most people like that have at least one person they’re nice and light to, pretend you’re that person. Also, it may help to pretend that you’re driving a Greyhound bus or some other type of commercial vehicle with passengers who want a smooth ride.
On that note, it’s cool to think that there are people who get paid to drive for a living.
When you took your second road test, it was the same road ( streets) when you drove with first .time ?
@@MB-bc1kj nope changed location just because it was the earliest I could get another one in. But I did go sprint the route and drive it before I took the test tho so I got a good idea of it

Passed my road test watching hours of these videos thank you! My tips are to be calm, be confident in your driving ,and make sure you are checking your mirrors and blind spots!

Passed my driver's test today! 10 points but I did a lot better than I anticipated, it's all about practicing and confidence. It took me 4 years after drivers Ed in high school to feel comfortable enough to try for my license and it paid off. Thank you Road Test Success for the helpful videos.

I just passed my road test yesterday! me passing this thing has gave me so much more confidence in myself.. I wish everyone the best of luck.
my advice is to focus a lot on parallel parking if you have to do that in your state.. I probably spent almost 10 hours practicing parallel parking... as well as driving up to the DMV. all of that practice gave me a confidence boost and I think that is why I passed.
make sure you are confident in yourself and your abilities and try to drive and parallel park as much as you can. it can get very frustrating... it was for me at some points, but take a breather and go forward.
you can pass, just tell yourself you got this, but really it's easier than your mind makes it out to be, good luck guys ! ❤️
how do you practice with no car?

I passed my test! Only made 3 mistakes… it was about a 16 minute drive! (Spokane Washington area test)

Driver Examiner tips:
-Pull closer to the curb.
-Up Left, Down Right. I did the opposite when parking on a hill.
-Look over your back shoulder while backing, always
( I knew this, I’m just very short and have a hard time even seeing through my back mirror so I made a bad habit of checking rear view mirror instead)

Passed mine 2 days ago. I was able to do very well after some practice that day and less than a week of real driving experience. It's really about mastery of the car and, and road knowledge. However obviously you will always have room for improvement like everything else in life. As long as you show you are capable and a defensive and safe driver, do not worry, and everything will be alright.

I been driving for 2 months
I feel like this 180 would help a lot of people because you can see what the driver is looking at and know what to do in certain situations… btw this I believe is the Fresno, CA DMV (one of them) and this is actually where I’m planning to take mine over the summer 😂… started watching a few videos every now and then to get a feel of what a drivers test might be like and some tips to remember… sadly I don’t go to college in my home town so I can only practice driving whenever I go home… and even though I haven’t taken mine yet, I wish all the best for other people planning to take theirs soon! Don’t get discouraged just keep driving and don’t look over when your instructor is writing something down. One of my friends did this and they immediately got nervous and thought they didn’t pass but they did pass! Just relax and feel like it’s another practice drive with your parents or whoever is/was teaching you to drive :)

I have my test in 41 days, I feel really confident, and I will try to not let the nerves get to me. I’ve been watching many of these videos daily, at least 3-4 videos a day. I practice my driving skills 3 ish times a week or so whenever I have the time. I’m hoping to pass first try.

Do any locations make you go on the freeway becuase i read on the website that freeway driving is not part of the test the examiter will put a restriction on your DL and also you must drive back to the dmv parking lot the same way back without instructions but i never seen that in these vids
It depends on the city you take your driving test in, typically they have pre selected routes (you might be able to find these on the internet ;)) But, if youre under the age of 17 1/2 when you first get your driving license, you will have a provisional license.

@6:41 I heard the examiner talk about this at the end, since she wasn’t supposed to stop and there isn’t a stop sign on the road going straight, how would someone go on about the right of way?
you just slow down and make sure no one is coming, you only have to stop if there is someone coming straight but otherwise since there isn’t a stop sign just slow down and check both ways and continue going whichever way you’re turning :)

I noticed many of these tests don't test heavily on the 3-point turn or parallel parking.
7:46 should they have kept their wheels straight here? or is that only for left turns lol

Getting an insufferable examiner who will nitpick at any single thing they can, such as not maintaining the exact speed limit at all times which is near impossible, would be unlucky. Driving on a road where the light turns yellow right as you’re a second away from it, which you can be failed for both not braking if you don’t AND going through a yellow light if you do, would be unlucky. Many things to be unlucky with.
In parking lots, when just moving about them, how fast should you generally be traveling? 15 mph?

id say 15mph is the top speed in the part of a parking lot in which you park, but if youre driving down some directional road to a parking stall typically the speed is marked 10-25 mph. Otherwise, if there are people and cars parked and youre driving past stalls, you should be at a 2-10mph crawl.

Did they ask you to go on the freeway becuase one thing im confussed about is on the website says they add restriction to your license if you dont plan driving on freeway and also it on the driving test it sayed you must head back to dmv parking lot without any directions and the same way you came from?
I just passed today, didn't have to go on the freeway, or get a restriction for it, I would ask the dmv before taking the test though. You do get a intermediate restriction (no driving between 1-5am, and only 3 passengars under 19 not a part of your family) and if you wear glasses, you get an eyesight restriction which makes u wear your glasses when driving.

Just drive how you know like your suppose to. Thats how I got through my nerves plus this is what you want so be natural and just enjoy or better yet, it helps to think of video games if your a player. If you know how to play and simple wan to win then just do it and listen carefully to their instructor, she's just a navigator and so, you know what to do.
Good luck and just do it because you want to drive. Although, I still enjoy riding horses then driving. ^.^
