I noticed the different charactistic's of wheels on blast blocks, and heavy armour, between my standard rover design and the one I am developing. They are more prone to clipping on blast blocks. Keen could fix this easily if they wanted, either by tweaking the collision mechanics, or by providing alternatives like pistons with suspension effects, or the ability to add blank heads instead of wheels to suspension blocks. I did try not adding the small wheels, and it worked quite well. I used the hinges for resistive forces. The body mount hinges I had at max downward speed with about 5-15 MN torque, and the wheel end hinges turned off with slightly less braking torque. I didn't get that "spring" effect on the compression like I did with the small wheels, but still a relatively smooth ride.
yea, i was thinking it may happen but was just hoping it wouldn't. if they did add a setting to the piston to turn it into a shock absorber it would be amazing for most of my suspension designs lol. i do have a fix for my suspension issue which you will see in next weeks video
good job! this is turnning out pretty good!
Just wanted to say im really enjoying the series so far! Keep it going lad and keep up the good work!
I appreciate it, I have to say I’m also really enjoying making each episode
@@quantumchief that's great to hear bud! Gotta do it with a passion! Can't wait for the next episode 🤙

I like the double-ended suspension block setup, but its not easy to set up without it clanging out.
WHAT AEW THOSE DOUBLE WHEELS NAME???
Double wheels?
hey what mining script are you using?
its a mining platform script, i cant remember the name off the top of my head, i showed it in the video though
