Nice shelter. If you engineered the connectors to pull up out of the way, you could have pull through parking spots. Giving you the opportunity to pull in forward and then stop in your docking spot. Maybe try some automation to connect and disconnect your rovers too.

small grid connectors don't seem to care about which hole you, the player, pass items through. the game just defaults it to the large port.

Fantastic work you've done and a great instructional video, only recommendation I have is to give us a short clip of the suspension in action at the start of the video so we can see the glory of what is to come instead of being slightly confused at first.

If you use the offset truss pillars you can place sideways ladders on top of them with the sci fi button panel on the top of the pillars and end of the ladders and make a really cool looking fence :) I was thinking you could use that to go around the outer sides of the vehicle bay :)) (you can ignore the button panels but they do add a nice end and top to it :). )

The faction thing looks like a regular scenario... Don't think they'll add anything like a new feature in regards to factions, enemies, etc.

I'm thinking it's definitely a Thruster. Looks a lot like the old Atlas thruster from the workshop.

I just built #1 on a astroid. Built the base and used drills attached on top to bore up to desired height. Worked great. Just need to figure out how to control it when not seated (on xbox)

What if each update came with a tidbit of storyline and also modified the new NPC's characteristics slightly. That would be amazing. Maybe they can only be found in space at first and have a series of ships and NPC bases you could raid. Then they start to be found on a vanilla moon. Each step they get a bit more teched up. They expand to a new celestial, you get access to build more of their tech, their bases and ships get more difficult. It might mean your better off playing the storyline and banking some saves for the next update.

It makes total sense to make larger blocks. It makes the game run better when you do not need to spam lots of blocks to get a desired effect. Make a larger block using the same or more resources and give it a similar resource requirement and people will love it. A new NPC will be interesting to play with. Might be interesting if the NPCs have different motivations from blindly attacking signals that come in range.

Blocks are prototech, like assembler, possibly a refinery, but definitely a thruster. How keen goes about obtaining these technologies is unknown.

Wanna bait those arrowheads, maybe make a cheap small fast drone or ship. If you can keep the aggro on the drone over the base you might not take much damage.

The video had 42 likes, I didn't wanna ruin the number, but liked the skid steer too much not to give it a like :) I would flip the cargo to the carriage and the batteries and engines on the cab.

I thought you might have widened the bridge on the way back! As long as you don't push the videos past 1.5 hours I'm OK with what you decide is good. I have trouble fitting in a 1.5 hour video when I'm supposed to be working lol. I'm glad a the new roll back worked well when fully loaded.

Just a thought on your way back from you next salvage mission. Maybe use some salvaged steel plate to make your bridge wider. Would make subsequent crossings easier.

Hello, really enjoying the videos, thank you for doing them. As for the rover carrying your utility vehicles being back heavy, you could place some mass blocks around the front end that turn on when a vehicle is on the ramp. I have done similar with telehandlers. I hope this is helpful.

Love the vehicles. What scripts do you use in them? Also, if you move the rear axles back 2 blocks, that will move your CG toward the middle and make it less bouncy in the front. I'm a truck driver in RL, and can say this mechanic is realistic. If you put some extendable arms out the back or sides with some mag plates on, that will lock you to the ground while the ramp is extended. 30 minutes is a good length for a video.

This could be a bit scary as it is with the twisting suspension with a heavy load in back. Nice idea. Looks cool. Interested to see the final version with gyros, timer blocks, lights, remote controls and all. Those cargo containers are just so close to Nellie when she is on the trailer... Would be even better if Nellie could rotate the cab and mate with the cago while on the trailer.
