It amazes me so much how good these cars withstand the weather. Mine sat outside in Oregon for about 7 months and still didn't get any rust. I am very impressed with these, and as you know I love trucks.
@@amberericjones5694 I unplugged the EST set the timing to 10BTDC, but the engine is shaking at it doesn't run smooth like it ran before I touched the timimg :(
@@amberericjones5694 I did these steps: 1) Unpluged the EST 2) Fired the car and let it warm up until working temperature 3) Set the timing to 10° by turning the distributor 4) Turned off the car 5) Plugged back the EST 6) Unplugged the negative wire from the battery for a minute to reset the ECM from check engine. What do you think was I right doing these steps?
Sounds like it's your ignition control module I've been through about 14 of them in mine. Make sure you get the Master Pro on so as lifetime warranty cuz you'll run through a few
It wasnt that, I was 180 degrees out of time had to pull distributor an if I'm not mistaken I changed the distributor out when I made this video. If so thats why it wouldnt start because I was 180 out. But I pulled it out sat it back in fired up with no problems. I have alot of videos on what ive done to this car. But ive been driving it an it runs like a champ now.
@@amberericjones5694 damn mine is giving me a hell of a time i finally got the module problem fixed then bam driving down the road it stalled and now its missing like crazy and as soon as i touch the gas pedal it tries to stall amd back fires if i hold it
@@Bryan_One87 check iac possibly I had something simaler to that had to hold the gas an if I let off it die an if I'm not mistaken once I replaced the iac fixed it went with delphi
@@Bryan_One87 now with the missing issue could be the distributor it's self needing replaced. Make sure theres no corrosion check cap an button/rotor. Or there is actually a problem with the distributor itself make sure plug wires are in the correct location. After installing my distributor as well I got my plugs backwards an wouldnt run got them swapped around an got them in the right location. Which i always get confused sometimes it happens. Lol but if it ran fine before an now its missing an having to hold the gas to keep it running id check the iacv. ruclips.net/video/ipzzRwZlY6A/видео.html

My 3.1 is making a noise that sounds like a cat dying... Do you think it can be the chain?
On which BTDC degree did you set the timing? What do you think which one is best for v6 (3,1l)?
I believe I set mine at 10 btdc.

@@zygimantasdikcius5735 and yes you are correct to unplugg the EST plug.
